They have a nice variety of sandwiches; we’ve tried their cold sandwiches and paninis when it was available before and they were all great! “I'd heard of Handel's Ice Cream, but for the longest time, it seemed I never had the opportunity to try it - I'm so glad I finally did since it was good quality ice cream! They had so many flavors! Even just their selection of chocolate options was impressive (over 20). I decided on two scoops: -Chocoholic Chunk - dark chocolate ice cream with dark chocolate chips -Midnight Madness - dark chocolate ice cream with peanut butter Oreos and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Both flavors were so chocolatey and rich, with just the right amount of sweetness. The ice cream tasted fresh and from good quality ingredients. I think a lot of times it's tough to maintain the quality of a product when there are so many options, but this place did it well (at least for the flavors I had). I'll go again on my next visit to the area.“

“Podong offers unique Korean drinks from injeolmi to Korean pear! I was immediately drawn to their retro interior and free Photo Booth inside. The decor is extremely well thought out and fits their concept perfectly. You can order on the tablet or with the cashier. Even though they have 4 tables with chairs, it feels more like a grab and go place. Large parking lot outside. As for the drinks: - soul Thai milk tea 5/5 - strawberry yakult 4/5 - - Korean pear 3/5 Note: the boba is on the sweeter side I'm really sad they discontinued their sweet rice drink! “Cafe Pruvia is one of the most underrated spots in the South Bay for boba. They definitely perfected the milk teas! Although I'm not a big milk tea guy, their drinks are quite impressive. Strawberry milk tea with black tea is so refreshing but also satisfies that milk crave. If you are looking for a fruit tea, I recommend the peach green tea as it is nice and tart. They also have amazing service and are very welcoming. Not to mention, it is a perfect place to study or work, as it is always packed with college students studying on their computers. I will say, the boba pearls can be inconsistent. Some days I would go and the boba will be really small while other days they will be just right. That's their only flaw. Other than that, I highly recommend cafe pruvia if you want quality teas!“

Last time I went to @koolberryx a few weeks ago I was so happy when the young lady working told me that every Monday they do 20% off. Yayyy... I made a mental note and vowed to come back every Monday I was in town, which is about every other Monday. Went today only to see they were closed. I hadn't been on Yelp to see they had changed their hours a few days ago. Signage outside still indicates they would be open. Disappointed there aren't other açaí bowl options nearby. (If you know of one tell me!) The only thing else that satisfies a craving is a fruit/ vegetable juice, like Juice Lab, but they are also closed for a "remodel". Bixby knolls needs more options like this. I hope both places stay open for the long term, but the change in hours makes me nervous.“

“One of my favorite boba shops, thank goodness is close to where I live. I would say this shop is pretty spacious. They had a couple of seating areas and the noise level is pretty quiet(unless it gets busy) and their background music isn't loud. Perfect location since it's right across Lunasia(Dim Sum restaurant) Their customer service is great! They were nice and helpful. No complaints about anyone :DI usually ordered their Fresh Taro Latte or Sweet Taro Sago Latter Frappe and they never disappoint. I would highly recommend their taro drinks if you're a taro lover. Their taro drinks are artificial they don't use any powdered taro :) Can't wait to try their other drinks!“

“This is my FAVORITE smoothie bowl place in California. Saying that they are perfect is an understatement. Their fruit is beyond fresh, juicy, and sweet. Every time I visit Manhattan Beach, Paradise Bowls is a must-stop location for my friends and I. (As seen in the pictures below I've gone 3+ times and that shows how good they are). My favorite bowl here is the Peach Bum bowl, its ingredients are super well-curated and the fruits complement each other perfectly. The menu is pretty extensive and goes beyond just smoothie bowls. The prices are pretty affordable and typical for a smoothie bowl, around $10 for a size small. My photos feature the small size and there is still a pretty big portion despite its "small" labeling. The service is good, with staff being efficient. The bowls came out pretty quickly! The ambiance of the store is super cute, beachy, and has a surf shack vibe to it, perfect for the beach! The views right next to the store are extremely gorgeous featuring the Manhattan Beach coastline. This store is located close to the sand, where you can bring your bowls to picnic right next to the Pacific waves.“

Came in looking for more greens in my life, and love their cholesterol drink with pineapple; also tried the getting sick drink (I think apple orange ginger carrot) since i feel a tickle in my throat and it's all delicious . There are a wide variety of juices to choose from which makes it very convenient. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There’s curbside temporary parking right in front of the store. There’s also a table right outside if you want to enjoy your juice while there. They also play good music everytime I’ve gone in. I also like that they recycle their bottles so you get points/discount for returning them.“

“Stopped in on a whim, found super friendly employees allowing me to browse, and ended up buying some things even though I knew I couldn't finish it. Due to unfortunate circumstances on the Metro Blue Line, I had to get off at Willow Station and take a bus back to DTLB. There was a 20 minute wait, so as I was walking from the Metro station to the bus stop, I stopped into Rose Donuts and Chinese Fast Food. It's an interesting combination, for sure. I had already eaten lunch, but the donuts looked good, so got 20 donut holes (10 for $2) and a Donut Bar - Chocolate glazed for $1.55...to go. No sales tax for donuts, since they are not considered a prepared food. As suspected, when I got home, I was able to finish the donut...and it was delicious. The donut holes were for the next day, and they were still edible ('m sure it would have been great fresh)..but became too hard by the following night. My bad for ordering too much. As the sign says, they also serve prepared chinese food from a steam tray, and have ice blended smoothies and breakfast and deli sandwiches. Took pictures of the menu and later realized that the chinese food menu doesn't have prices. The turnover of the food on that steam tray didn't seem to be too fast, though just a guess.“
