“Perfect dive bar. This is a quintessential dive bar. They have cheap drinks and food. Their food (super limited) is great for what you want from a dive bar; pickled eggs, pretzel sticks, sausage (beef hotdog) sandwich. Highly recommended for a bar!“
“Excellent Colombian brunch. The pork belly was crispy and well seasoned with just the right amount of fat. The selva steak and eggs plate was a great sampler of many of their dishes. The service is great and friendly. I had the carajillo coffee cocktail with brandy, which was good, but not my favorite. My other friends loved it though. Definitely recommend this place and will come again!“
“I grew up in Long Beach so I know how hard it is to own & run a small business in our community, Chuckie Miller has provided a quaint n chill environment to enjoy a drink ? and enjoy a night out Where you can enjoy some music ? a great environment and they've also got some great food ? Damn Dizzle is whipping up some treats all can enjoy wether outback or at yhe LongBeachUnifried food truck!!! Been a few times and I'd recommend this spot to any and all that want to have a good time!! Bartender serves great drinks and staff is friendly as well!!Wheelchair accessibility: I'm in a chair & can't always get in or around places but This spots defined wheelchair friendly & accessible!!!“
“fantastic nook in long beach. great food (pretty classic bar fare but done very well), great bar, great service. some nights with live music, atmosphere spot on. i'll definitely be back to explore the menu a little more and have the bar teach me a drink or two.“
“I am a lover of Italian food! Overall the place was good. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was decent. I appreciated that they had 2 types of gluten free pasta. They made the other pastas in house. Worth a try if you are craving Italian food and are in the area.“
“Fantastic view of the ocean! Belmont Brewing Co is located at the enttance of Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. I'm not sure if there's free parking in the area, but we parked in the parking lot next to the restaurant which is not free. Had to pay at the kiosk. This place serves american food and alcohol. Came here during lunch time with coworkers. They ordered alcohol and returned to work right after. I ordered the american style kobe burger. It was very delicious but be aware that it's not real kobe beef. Staffs were friendly and had a good meal here. Really nice restaurant by the beach. Would recommend eating here. It might be a little pricey, but you're next to the ocean.“
“Great local place that has a cute store next door with a variety of beer/wine choices and some upscale snacks.Food, drinks and vibe of the bar are always amazing. Every one always seems to be having a good time whenever I’m there. The staff is super nice and helpful with any questions I have had.“
“Always a great experience when we return here.Great Service & quality of food is on point.Must haves "chicken Apple walnut & goat cheese" , wow you won't be disappointed. After eating Salad & feeling healthy then go for the "We are open Sundays Fried Chicken Sandwich"Enjoy“
“I have been going here for many years but it's been a while since I was there. I had the golden Curry and pineapple rice. It was great! And, the service was good as usual. I really like the Upscale Interior and experience of eating there. And the prices seemed reasonable compared to what prices have been doing at restaurants all over.“
“I had an amazing experience at Yard House! The food was delicious, and the portions were huge - great value for money. The service was exceptional, and our blonde waitress was the absolute 'bizz' - attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. I was impressed by the variety on the menu and the quality of the dishes. If you're looking for a fantastic meal with excellent service, Yard House is the place to go. Highly recommended!“
“It was suggested we visit and I'm happy we did. While it was very busy with a wait on a Friday night the wait passed quickly. Upon sitting we were presented with focaccia and a delicious dressing to dip it in. The menu is a classic Italian menu. But the food was fresh, plentlyful and delicious. I look forward to returning to try some of the pizza that also looked delicious.“
“Everyone was super nice, fun atmosphere with great music. I had a margarita with chips/salsa/guac. The guacamole was okay, but the salsa was flavorful and delicious. The margarita was a good price. An affordable, fun place to eat with lots of great vegan options!“
“I was there right when it opened and had the best experience, everything was perfect and definitely will be going again. For the first time everything about a place complimented everything the staff were super helpful, the food was amazing, the drinks were nice and cheap, and the atmosphere was phenomenal.“
“We always have a blast at Los Compadres. They have a lot of Wow Factor menu items, combined with great bar, but also Family atmosphere. They do a special song if you tell them about someone in your party's birthday. The waiters and bartenders are the BEST. In the bar area, you can watch Sports and sit at the bar or in a comfortable booth. #AllTheBellsAndWhistles, plus exquisite Food, too...Vegetarian options: Mostly I just get their awesome Cheese enchiladas, I know they have fantastic Burritos without meat or chicken. Not sure about some dishes, but the wait staff are experts at their menu, and can answer your questions...Dietary restrictions: I think they would accommodate special requests, with a smile...Kid-friendliness: Super kid and whole family friendly...Wheelchair accessibility: Seems very wheelchair friendly...“
“Keep coming back to this spot, for many reasons. The food, service, ambiance, location, novelty. I've been during the daytime for a latte in the sun, and I've been at night for an incredible dinner service. I would say I prefer the nighttime experience, just because the coffee is pretty over priced, and they haven't nailed the daytime-cafe-vibe yet. Needless to say, they have certainly nailed the nighttime vibe. Wonderful small plates, super yummy pizzas, creative and beautiful dishes. Recently, my group of four and I shared a pizza and a few small dishes as well as entrees. Out of all of the dishes, my Alaskan halibut was agreed upon as the best, which was surprising! The creamed leeks beneath the fish were unlike anything I've ever had. We also REALLY enjoyed the snap pea salad. Such unique flavor combinations! The burnt basque cheesecake and marscapone gelato were wonderful treats to end our meal. I will continue to come back!“
“First time trying this place, and all I can say is that the breakfast here exceeds my expectations! Although waiting time after we had ordered was kind of long but it's worth it! Parking wasn't easy. You will need to park at the residential curbside.“
“I didn't have any expectations going here, but they were all quickly exceeded! I loved how there were several different stands to get food from, including a dedicated bar area (I hate it when you have to order food at the bar). The food was all really fairly priced and so good! It paired well with the beer flight my partner and I got. There are many unique beers to have, and the bartender who served us was super cool and friendly.I definitely want to come back again! It was a vibe!“
“I can't believe I haven't written a review here yet! (Thought I did!) Anyway, first came here last year for my sister's friend/band member's birthday party! (Jordan) And some of his art work was displayed for sale. It was pretty fun! The DJ booth looks cool! The giant screen allowed them to play their new music video for their band called Wamdingis! (Check them out!) That night was lit! Thank you to the bar tenders & chef! The fried cheese curds were unforgettable! Came back here another time with a girlfriend because she was sad about her guy. Anyway, we ordered the tater tots (yummy!) & some seltzer drinks. I sang a song for Karaoke night on Sunday. We also ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and added bacon! Omg! So glad we split it! That was too good! Then we bar hopped a little before going home. Tonight, I was supposed to help my sister's band with merch at the Santa Ana art walk but they finished before I got there so I turned around and went home and Lyfted here. Ordered the garlic lemon pepper wings & cheese curds! Mmmm! So good! Highly recommended! The kitchen is open until 1 or 2am! Woohoo! So this is def a 2-in-1 spot! Parking sucks on the streets so just Lyft here! Maybe I'll see you guys around!“
“Waitress service was not that greatI ordered filet mignon yet when it came to the table it looked like a piece of steak it was very tasty though I did not complain because I was there with my daughter and her food was already there so I just ate what I had I ate what they gave me shall I say“
“I've been here a bunch, just realized I've still never written them a review, so fixing that finally. They are definitely a "neighborhood bar" first, cocktail bar second - it's a great chill vibe, the sort of place that's never too busy (at least when I've been there) and where the music is never too loud to be able to talk. Their bartenders are all great, and they have quality spirits and reasonably priced drinks. And they do *have* a cocktail list - but compared to, for instance, Wicked Wolf nearby, for similar prices, cocktails that aren't quite as complex or as exciting, necessarily, but they have all been great cocktails. I also particularly like that they have, at least at the moment, Buffalo Trace on hand, so I can put that in any whiskey cocktail for about the same price. On their current menu, I particularly liked the "Cameoi" (bourbon, basil, lemon, blueberry, hibiscus cider) and the "Conquistador" (corn vodka, frangelico, romepope custard liqueur - as-is, it's basically a drinkable dessert, which is great if you're looking for dessert, but it's also an easy drink to swap different spirits in - I've also tried off-menu versions with mezcal and with Buffalo Trace that were also great.) I have only actually gotten food here once, and it was a couple years ago - their flatbread was nothing I'd go out of my way for specifically, but it's definitely also something I'd be happy to order if I were hungry and I was here. That said, the *real* draw that keeps getting me to stop in here, is the live jazz they have every Saturday at 8 PM. The jazz trio that plays here is fantastic, so whenever I'm out that direction on Saturday in the evening (most likely because something's going on at Wicked Wolf), I also try to arrange to pop in here during the live jazz. Cocktails go great with live jazz, and they're a super talented jazz trio. (But it wouldn't be such a draw if they didn't *also* make great cocktails.)“
“This place is down the street from my office and I always see it on the way to work in the mornings. They have a huge sign that says something along the lines of “best burgers in town,” and being a burger person, I accepted the challenge. They were not joking. The burger was not only huge, it was amazing! The burger was juicy and flavorful ?. My mouth is literally watering as I write this. The staff and owner were super friendly and accommodating as well. I’ll definitely be back, but as someone watching her waistline, I’m in trouble, because every bite is worth the extra work I’ll need to put in to keep it.?“
“Amazing drinks!!! I went about 5 times during the Christmas holiday set up. Definitely go early before the rush. You can chit chat with bartender and sip on your drinks. When busy, there is a huge line to order. Not the best. I was sipping in my drink while boyfriend waited in line. I was finished with one before he brought out our second round. Will say, this happens when they book the back or side for private party's. This place is a staple for us. We have gone back after holidays and will continue going.“
“Gay women goes to gay man’s bar, so take it with a grain of salt. My own fault for wasting a buck in the jukebox while music videos were playing, assumed it would override. Bartender super cool and nice, watched him cut someone off and give them water. I don’t think they have food, not certain. Low key in the day, not sure what night crowd is like.“
“awesome bar!!! me and my friends went in and ordered some cosmos and sat and drank and listened to heavy metal/hard rock. the drinks were so good and the bartender was so sweet! i love the restrooms they have a castle vibe to them. the booths are intimate and close, the lighting was perfect, not overstimulating. attracts the right people for sure. i love that the doors are closed and you cant see in. the martini glass neon sign outside is soooo cute!!! will be coming back for sure“
“Looks like a dive bar but actually a really nice chill local's bar with a good wine selection. A major plus is that you can bring your pizza from Little Coyote. I've come here a couple times with friends and it's definitely a spot I'd come more frequently if I lived in walking distance to it. They often have live music as well.“
“I love a good cocktail and find it very difficult to find one in this town (that's reasonably priced). I never thought that I'd be rating Alex's Bar as one of the best places to get a cocktail in Long Beach! They really know what they're doing and go the extra mile. I don't go to a lot of live shows anymore, so I don't frequent the place as much as I'd like to. Kudos to Alex and his staff for doing it right and not charging an arm and a leg. A lot of LB bars could learn something from this place.“
“Came for DJ Jackson with my brother and his girlfriend!I couldn’t consume alcohol and this time, but to look cool I ordered a Mocktail and it was very good! The gentleman at the bar was very kind and made me what tasted like a gummy bear! The vibe was pretty cool and met some pretty fun characters there! Definitely will be back when back in Cali!“
“I had good time Friday night with with family I kept a smile on my face all night and mingled with friendly people. I love being around an older crowd people enjoying their self that’s what it supposed to be about Black people coming together having fun without fighting all the time. Peace one love.“
“Not sure why we have not been to the Social List restaurant located on the Retro Row community of Long Beach, CA. But now that we have we are Ecstatic. They have delicious cocktails to enjoy. They even offer you the opportunity to purchase a bottle , have them make drinks from it and they will store it for you in the liquor cabinet for your next visit. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a tranquil afternoon people watching. We will definitely be back. See you there.“
“Came to Rosa's bar for a Thursday night with friends and it was amazing! The owners are so sweet and the beer was nice and cold. There are pool tables and a karaoke machine. I will definitely be back and I am happy they are open again. I would definitely recommend coming with friends, playing pool, and singing karaoke.“
“We were looking for a place for happy hour in the Long Beach/Seal Beach area. Malainey's seemed like a good choice. My first surprise is there was plenty of free and easy parking. I was expecting to have to pay for parking so that's a big plus. Mulainey's is in a marina area with other shops and restaurants. There's plenty of seating and we were even allowed to sit next to a window with a great view of the marina. The happy hour menu is pretty basic, but you can certainly find something to your liking as far as food goes. We had two tacos, $4 each. They were really good and they don't skimp on the meat or ingredients. We also had the tomato basil pizza. $12 It was a good size for sharing and it had an excellent garlic flavor. Wait, it gets better. When you check in on Yelp you get a coupon for free french fries, and they're good, too! The drink deals aren't great, though. They only have two beers on the HH menu, PBR and Coors Light. $5.75 for a pint. Well drinks are $7 on the hh menu. I ordered a Coke and it was $4.95. Kinda' pricey for a Coke, and no free refill. The service was so-so. It took a long time to get our drinks, but we didn't mind. The atmosphere was nice and it was a nice place to hang out for a chat. Also, they have plenty of screens to watch whatever sports events are going on at the moment. They have live music that starts at 7:00 PM. The band was excellent...so good I got up and danced! I'd go back for hh and some good live music for sure!“
“I didn't try food I went on a Friday before 9 and it was packed I didn't even try to get a beer but if I was trying to party I'd go here I just wanted a beer before heading home so don't go on the weekend if that's your “
“The personal Margherita pizza that I ordered was phenomenal. Raven our waitress was very kind, she made sure we were all the way satisfied. They have monitors for the games that come on and we got half off our draft beer. The mozzarella it's top notch and the pizza dough was the perfect textures of soft and crispy at the same time I will definitely come back here with friends oh and the taps on the beers are perfectly clean and they are dog friendly“
“Love the vintage Photo Booth and the cocktail menu! Bartenders are always so nice and they have two pool tables in the back (.50 each round). Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but order the Grace Kelly!!!! I seriously only order this when I go because it's so good.“
“I went here to find a new place to drink near my new place. It's still a drive from me but, I'm happy to always visit new bars. This one serves beers, wines and trulys. It's cash only but they have an ATM. I took my brother there for helping me move big stuff. We also had my nephew along with us and he was okay to be there. They have a nice shuffleboard and plenty beers on tap. Most stuff is in the fridge and the bar girl was nice. Met some of the regulars so it's a good vibe.“
“Rosemallows is definitely a vibe and I'm so happy I came across it!While hubby and I were wrapping up an event, we wanted to grab a drink. We came across Rosemallows in Long Beach. The name really intrigued me and the photos on their website and on Yelp lured us in. While walking up to enter, we heard music bumping and people dancing. I was a bit confused because it honestly was giving me club vibes. But we walked in and people were just living their best lives dancing along to the best of the music. I was for it! Hubby and I made our way to the bar and parked ourselves there. They had drink specials going on so I started off with a basic tequila pineapple. After I chugged that down, I decided to get fancy with it. I ordered a Melona Colada. Let me tell you, it was soooooo delicious!! It was just perfection in a glass.Rosemallows is a restaurant, however, on Sunday evenings they have Sunday Sessions. No food is served during this time and it's just good music playing, good drinks being sipped, and just good vibes flowing around. I was all for it. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.Hubby and I are already planning our next visit.“
“We went for Happy Hour on a Tuesday. The bar was crowded and prices were steep for HH, but the ambiance was nice. We had to pay $20 for parking. There was live music. The drinks were decent. The food menu is very limited. The views of DTLB are amazing.“
“We have been to Gaslamp about five times now to see our favorite Rage Against the Machine tribute band, Renegades of Rage. They never disappoint. This time there were two other tribute bands opening for them. Tribute band for Nirvana, Nirvanish was better than I remember from seeing them once before. The lead singer must have been a trance medium. Because all I seen and heard was Kurt Cobain. They also sang a Filter song, Hey Man, Nice Shot, that is in my favorites playlist. The owner of Gaslamp came out on stage to preform in a tribute band for Smashing Pumpkins called The Great Pumpkin! What an extremely pleasant surprise! We've watched them before and I don't remember being this impressed. We sounded so much like Billy Corrigan! Their drummer flew in from I'm not sure where but I'm sure glad that he did. Awesome drummer! Renegades! We love you guys! Johnny, Diego, Jeff and Mike...I'll never get tired of hearing you guys and watching your shows. If I can't get RATM, I'll take Renegades any day, any time, always! We were there with our son and daughter in law celebrating my hubby's 51st bday. The band made him feel special by giving a shout out for his bday! If you haven't seen Renegades before, I can't stress enough that you should find their next show and watch out for the mosh pit! We did not eat here, but Renegades lead singer Johnny did recommend them. Hubby wanted Tamales from Angie's in Norwalk instead. The drinks are comparably priced. Good wait staff. Bathrooms were clean and we'll stocked when we got there. The dance floor was not sticky, just a pet peeve for me.“
“Started coming here a while ago and it grew on me. Met the owner and he was nothing short of gracious. Humble guy that will sit with you. If you see him get him a red headed slut. Bartenders are cool. Tracey stands out though. Vulgar sometimes but always fun and treats you well. Met Mac and she is a bubble of fun. I'd recommend this place anytime.“
“I go here every now and then to meet with co workers and I don't know the bartender's name but it was on 5/16. I left my wallet and I was able to retrieve it the following day with everything in tact. Not to mention drinks come by quick also :)“
“Palapa Restaurant, is located at 2nd & PCH Center, on the second floor. Palapa is an extention of their sister restaurant Ola Mexican Kitchen.Palapa, has an island-themed Tiki bar it has a wrapped around bar with sitting ares. The outdoor dining has an amazing views of the Los Alamitos Marina, the boats and the ocean are just perfect. We came here to celebrate my birthday. They have complimentary tortillas chips. The tortilla chips are seasoned - springle with Tejin lemon flavored and salt. We selected dine at Palapa because of their outdoor dining because we brough our dog and we can only dine outside. The ambience is casual- contemporary with large beautiful outdoor lamps and an area with outdoor fire pit.We ordered the red beet & watermelon salad, fresh guacamole for the tortilla chips, 2 tacos. My daughter ordeted their chicken soup it comes with 2 rolled taquitos, hold down I had a strawberry -Jalapeno Margarita so refreshing so delicious and (Expensive)Keep in mind when ordering any meals it all coming from Ola Restaurant because Jalapa does not have their own kitchen. It may take longer to get the order Ps please don't blame the server. Service was on point he was attentive and friendly. He offered to-go boxes because honesty our eyes were bigger than our appetite.Parking2nd & PCH has a parking structure the first 90 minutes are free. Pay for parking with credit cards at the pay stations or exit gates. No Cash or Apple pay.If you are in the area and like an awesome marina vies, an awesome Margarita and of course awesome food. Stand by say hello!“
“Very good very delicious love the place and the people very freindly I recommend anyone in the long beach area to come try this place had a couple of different dishes camarones campechanos and a costa azul also the langostinos are one of the best !!!“
“You must try the pancakes ? my first visit I was told these are the best pancakes in the world and I challenge you to find some better!!! Everything I've had on the menu was incredible the turkey sausage is cooked to perfection. Good thing it's so close to the beach because you'll want to take a stroll to walk off an amazing meal. Pet friendly and an inviting ambiance that won't disappoint. breakfast or lunch you won't regret it.“
“There's definitely a reason this place keeps coming up everywhere as number ones bartenders are nice with a touch of sass like you'd like at a dive bar, but it's elevated. The prices are pretty pricey, but for the love ingredients and originality of the cocktails I guess it's alright, but I'm not staying for more than two lol. We ordered 4 cocktails and two mocktails and it was about $100 so time to go home lol. They have yummy little snacks and overall we were happy with this new Long Beach spot.“
