Today was our very first time trying this place. It's super close to our house but the reviews were not the best so it kept us away ... until now! We both loved our dishes: food was on point. The reason for 4 stars is because the guacamole did not taste fresh, it tasted like the store bought ones. Place is small but they have some tables if you want to eat there. We will be back to try other items for sure!

Great Mexican-Tasting Food. Pretty authentic and delicious! The menudo and posole are fire ?!!! Definitely recommend to all.

Ordered menudo on a rainy Sunday. Lady asked "How many?" I replied "Just one." Again she asked "How many?" I tried in Spanish "Uno por favor." Then pointed at the maiz and asked again: "Hominy?" Just kidding. That really didn't happen. The menudo was amazing though! I expected half of the bowl to be hominy but they served it with a lot of tripe and even patas. Maybe I got lucky but most places serve lots of hominy with tiny bits of tripe. Will definitely try the other items on the menu!

Before going I looked on yelp for a menu and prices, their website is not working. Prices seemed good, I called and placed an order for a burrito and nachos. When I arrived total was $30. $10 more than what I was expecting. So I took one of their flyers and I'm posting it so no one else has the same shock of their prices.

I had 3 carnitas tacos with rice and beans, and the tacos were very good. I also really enjoyed the rice and beans as they reminded me of homemade food. My husband ordered the beef taquitos, and they were excellent. The taquitos were made fresh when we ordered them.

The food is amazing. I've been here quite a few times. But this last time was awesome. I planned my mother's birthday here. They were very accommodating, I went over my allowed guests, and they didn't fuss they just fit us all in without question. The staff is always nice and friendly.

I wish I could like this place. I work LITERALLY around the corner so it would be great if it were worth coming to. I haven't been here since I first tried it a couple years ago so I thought I'd give them a shot again. Shouldn't have. I ordered 2 hard shell tacos; the shredded beef was quite tasty but the tacos were falling apart. (And this isnt a result of poor handling once it left; they clearly were made like that). The beans didn't have any flavor and the rice, like another commenter pointed out, was CLEARLY some version of par-boiled spanish rice from a packet. That's the part that's so problematic- mexican rice is both easy AND cheap to make! Also, the prominence of their multiple microwaves as soon as you walk in the door is a little disconcerting. I now remember why I didn't go back for so long.

I had the chili Verde burrito. Tasted and looked like beef roast. I believe it was the owner that told me when I asked and he said it was pork...I've eaten this at 100's of places. And pork is a white meat. So never again !

I had ordered a large soup, 1 drink, and two plate orders which came out to $45! She had charged me and when I had looked at the prices that were on the pamphlet my whole order should have came out to $26. I had asked her why it was $45 and she proceeded to show me the back of the pamphlet that said “price may change without notice”. This is absolutely ridiculous with how expensive their food was, will not be coming back!
