This restaurant is the one I like best. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very affectionate and the cuisine they offer is so delicious. I am always happy to have a decent dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

The restaurants atmosphere is nice, and the servers we had for our group were attentive and polite. The food on the other hand was just okay, nothing to write home about for the steak, salad, or vegetables I had. Others felt the same about their Salmon, but those who got the Mac said that was good. They have an extensive list of Beer and Cocktails, which were good from what I heard and tasted. If ever in Long Beach again, I'd give it another shot outside of a group setting.

We had a great meal, as usual. The rib eye steak was delicious as was the Fireman's double jalapeño burger. I don't usually eat the rice in restaurants, however the cilantro lime rice is on point here! Our server, Ashley, was fantastic and took such good care of us. We even met the executive chef, Salvador Chavez. If you are in the Long Beach area and want some good food I highly recommend Rock Bottom. Psst, the beer is good too.

Kim is consistently the best server I have ever had. I come in often, sometimes 3-4x a week for beers, and she always treats me like a friend, and keeps me coming back. All of the rock bottom staff is great, but she is a true gem & any restaurant would be lucky to have her. This is my favorite bar in downtown long beach & I recommend everyone try it out, & request her, you won't be disappointed. Top notch service, beer knowledge & great atmosphere to boot. 10/10

Ive lived in long beach my whole life and have been coming here for years, however lately the service and food quality has gotten extremely bad. I ordered take out and usually have no issues, however when I walked in to the restaurant today there was nobody at the front counter and all other employees scurried away. A group walked in behind me and was almost immediately greeted by an employee and he began to ask if they wanted menus and where they'd like to sit. Not until a member of that group stated that I was there first did the employee proceed to begin to help me, also while exhaling in a very sarcastic manner. He then handed me my receipt and said nothing else, I paid my bill and left the restaurant thinking that this would be my only disappointment with the restaurant tonight. Of course, I was wrong. The chicken in the mac and cheese was extremely dry, and for a 15 dollar plate of mac and cheese I would expect the plate to at least be filled. It was hardly even 3/4 filled in the to go container. I also ordered a ribeye and the ribeye was disgusting. Meat was held together very loosely and had a stringy texture to the meat pieces being tied together. Also was extremely burnt on the outside but rare on the inside, tasted as if the steak was frozen. Just about anywhere makes a better steak. Quality of service and food have gone downhill in recent years. Eating here would be a novelty at best, save your money and support a business that deserves it rather than a corporate backed chain that rakes in cash and takes no pride in their work.

We rarely go anywhere but Rock Bottom when we are in Long Beach. You can park underground and they validate your parking for 2 hours. The food and beers are great. I love dark beer and they have some great ones but the sampler is quite a bargain. My problem is that I am a small guy and drinking that many small glasses gets me too drunk to drive. But maybe you can share it. It's an amazing deal. We usually get the Chicken Fried Chicken. It's 2 large boneless pieces with mashed potato and veggies. We usually share it. They also have the 2AM Burger. It's basically a full bacon, egg and hashed brown breakfast on a burger and served with a ton of very crispy fries. A few days before our last visit they sent me an email offering a free dessert if you buy an entree. It was a very large moist chewy brownie topped with iced cream and whipped cream. 3 of us finished about half of it. The server was so friendly and helpful and the bill was very reasonable for such tasty well prepared food. You can book on Open Table to make it even easier. It is right in the middle of the action in Long Beach so take a walk down the block and see all the action of downtown Long Beach.
After walking a mile to the crab shack and getting turned away at 9:30 last call restaurant closes at 10 I walk back to rock bottom walk in at 10:02 and I am told the kitchen is closed at 10:00. WOW!! No love in LongBeach. I even pleaded with the server he was like yeah you're a minute late I'm sorry I can't do it.

The artichoke and crab dip was so delicious! Our waitress was super sweet and took the time to recommend items on the menu since it was our first time there. Great atmosphere, fast service and yummy food! Definitely going back!!

I celebrated my graduation last night in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a marvelous evening and the restaurant was unquestionably the reason for that outstanding meeting. The stuff collaborated in a splendid way, the food was great and my buddies were so delighted. We shall surely visit again for more events. thanks very much.
