We drove 1/12 hrs for the Sabrina drink! It's exciting when they have collabs like these. Although I almost wish I didn't order it after the sigh the worker gave when we ordered it :( The drink itself was not bad. A good mixture of bitter & sweet. Parking was easy to find. The shop itself was super cute and one of my favorite coffee shop designs. The only thing that hurt a bit was the service. I wonder if they get a lot of snobby rude customers because the workers just look very dead and unhappy. If that's the case y'all need to be kind to these workers fr. If not, maybe just return the energy you receive? Treat the rude rudely, treat the kind kindly.

i cannot for the life of me remember the names of these drinks but they are available on their special drinks menu. the girl at the register was super helpful with recommendations and was patient with us. left side is matcha and right is a coffee both with mushrooms essence. it sounds crazy but you cant taste the mushroom. the inside is super clean with a separate area for seating.

I really liked this coffee spot its a cute place, it was my first time here and I wasn't too sure about what I wanted to order but Alma was very nice to help me decide and I decided on the butter croissant which was really good I would order it again.

Went back to Alfred for the first time in a while. JUST beat a mob of hipsters, so I was able to order quickly. I appreciate the new outside seating (new to me), and I hope the city lets them keep it. The Breakfast Buirrto seems to have gotten smaller and less tasty. But the coffee was great. The 10 other customers with their barking dogs in and outside the store were enough to keep me away for a while, but hey... that's L.A. for ya.

Good coffee in a really cute area. Service was fast. Here's my issues with Alfred's- their branding is massively behind, the "A" with the antlers needs a refresh. It's giving early 2000's tumblr. Speaking of tumblr vibes the "but first coffee" quote on the wall and branded cups has got to go. And my last thing that bothered me was the to-go cup for a hot drink having a completely different vibe from everything else. To sum up- the baristas were great, the music was way too intense (think DDR, but NOT in a good way) the coffee was good, everything about the brand needs to be redesigned. There is 0 consistency with branding.
Very cute and upbeat coffee place on Melrose. Lavender Latte was delicious, and the branded merch they have is very cute! Good way to start a walking and shopping trip down melrose.

The atmosphere at Alfred Coffee ( Melrose pl) is really fun, and the outside of the coffee shop with the overgrown ivy is really nice. The coffee was great, but the person taking our order was rude. He acted stuck up. They don't take cash, apparently. We had a gift card, and he didn't know how to use it each time we came back to purchase more items ( snacks and such)Other than the service, everything else was fine.The gift card was for my family, and they acted like we were inconveniencing them to use it.

Very cute coffee shop on Melrose. Luckily there was no wait to order and the employees were incredibly friendly. The lavender latte was amazing it was so flavorful and complimented the taste of espresso, loved it. -I love the dark aesthetic they go for, its deliberate and creative. -They have a table to sit and quite a few other chairs. -Very fast service, we waited less than 2 minutes for both drinks.
