Spring Arcade refers not only to the building above it, but also the grand, airy, arched arcade at ground level. You can spot it via grand, Spanish Baroque-inspired arches along either a Spring or Broadway between 5th and 6th here in DTLA. Inside is a multilevel arcade that once hosted over five dozen shops but which now appears to focus on a handful of low-key eateries at a ground-level food court. Stumble upon this Downtown treasure and you’ll find a revitalized indoor commercial spot with cafes, ice cream and tacos. What more could you want in LA? Also it’s a quick and neat (yeah, I just wrote neat) way to get to/from Broadway and Spring. By foot, of course.

I have been walking around DTLA for years and never knew about the Spring Arcade (I passed right by it) till the Night on Broadway event.It is a spectacular building, an arhictectural treasure of LA mix of Baroque and Beaux arts styles located on Broadway (and 5th), close to Pershing Square. I don't have an opinion about the actual apartament buildings.
