“Man they can do so much better in this space. With such an amount of architects that the city I bet it has. They should comission one to revamp it to make it into an amazing vanguard space. Kind of what you see in Mexico City in their new public spaces. Needs more variety of foods like, Thai food, a Mezcal place, Vietnamese food exct... Come amazing peeps of LA, remake this space to make it top notch!! Cheers from a neighboor that would like to call LA home!!!“

“Downtown LA is so amazing, it's so vibrant and I grew up in LA so it's great to have so many options in one location. Imagine living in the high rise next door, how lucky! Just walk a few steps and whatever you're in the mood for, there it is. They're all independent businesses with patio seating or indoor communal seating. There's a burger place, they offer both vegan and meat burgers, a Jamaican spot (get the oxtails), a pad Thai spot, pasta/pizza, Indian cuisine and a bunch more I just can't remember off the top of my head. The service was great, they bring you your food if you're dining there, and the ambiance was chill. You're definitely not on the west side :) Highly recommend, especially on those days when the grand central market is just too crowded.“

“A conglomerate of Guatemalan street food vendors located at the intersection of Bonnie Brae & 6th St. after 5pm. Parking will be the toughest thing to find but you may be able to test your luck at the Rite Aid/Food 4 Less plaza nearby. The food is pretty cheap but absolutely delicious! Pricing along all the vendors seem to be similar for the same type of foods and being able to speak Spanish is a big plusRecommend:- Garnachas (mini potato tamales)- Pollo y papa's fritas (fried chicken & fries)- Churrasco (grilled meats - notably the longaniza)Note: There is a lot of grilling & frying going on, so be prepared to have your clothes smelling like smoke after you leave.“

“April 2024The regular Century City Mall Parking Rates are as follows:1st hour is free. After that 1st hour, the next 20 minutes you are charged $4.Anything past 1 hour and 20 minutes, you are charged $2 for each 20 minutes. The daily maximum is $32 per 24 hour period.Eataly: I give this entire experience 4 stars. It's good, but it could be better. Here's why?Pro: come early in the day, from say 10:30 to 12:30, parking is a little easier, less traffic to get to and from this place from all around town.Pro: Drew in the wine and spirit, liquor department, is really helpful! Five star service there! He had a sense of the Amaro I was trying to buy, and suggested a couple which I ended up purchasing. He also made an effort to try to look into getting some of the other oddball ones I had on my list which they were out of stock.Pro: the liquor department does have some items that are less expensive than say total wine, or bevmo. I bought 4 Amaro today, one of them was 50% off their price, coming to around $17... where the price is normally around $24 at total wine.Pro/Con: there are 3 restaurants here. La Pizza & La Pasta is probably the best of the three. You'll have to be careful what you order here, especially if you're a true italian. Some of the pizza is great. But some of the pasta is lacking in one thing or another.Capri might be a little off, and the Steakhouse on the top floor might just be a little bit too much for most.Pro: it's like walking into an Italian deli market, lots of variety, lots of quantity of things.Pro: I don't know what they're called, maybe a kiosk, but the individual separation between say the fresh pasta, the pizza person, the espresso bar, the cheese person, make the experience worthwhile. You really feel like you're at a Street Market in a small Italian town, that's indoors. Go figure.Pro: Some things like Pasata Tomato was cheaper than at your typical Monte Carlo, or Cavaretti or Roma Deli.Con: some things are a little pricier than your local Italian Market. So you'll have to shop to see which spot has the best price.Octopus salad for instance, $29 a pound? It was okay, but not the freshest or the tastiest cold octopus salad I've had. And that price, mamma mia! In a bad way, I don't think it's worth it to buy again.Cheese: $48 a pound for gorgonzola? Yeah, you'll have to do the math on that one. I wonder how much of that they sell. But some of the other cheese was less expensive than Bristol Farm prices. You'll really have to do your due diligence and shop, literally.Con: $42 for a cake? $8 for a little torta? Maybe too pricey for a true Italian who can just make it at home for a fraction of the price. We thought we were going to find casata here, or something unique.Con: some things are outdated, like the Amaretti cookies wrapped in paper. I mean that's like an American gimmick from 30 years ago.Major Con: the whole parking situation. This place is a market, and has three restaurants. You have to expect that people are going to be here for a minimum of 2 hours if they have lunch, and then as an incentive, do some shopping, or have a gelato, coffee, etc. So why won't Eataly validate for 3 hours of free parking? In summary, I think if the parking was validated for up to 3 hours, maybe they lowered their prices on some of the other stuff, this place would be a true five-star experience. It's good, don't get me wrong, but it could be better with just a few minor tweaks. For your typical true American person, tourist, etc, I think this would give you a taste of Italy. But for the hardcore Italians, that come from Italian bloodline, first or second generation here in the United States, this place is kind of like going to Disneyland. There's a lot of unnecessary Pomp and circumstance. Meaning, for the hardcore italian, they would shop elsewhere, or cook it at home.My final thoughts are that it's like a modern Italian deli / market. Nothing fancy, more like a tourist attraction.“

“Fun place to hang out. There's a big open air mall, a food court that has quite a bit of a variety. I parked on the street so I'm not sure about the parking situation there. I was able to get a haircut for $20 which is unheard of these days. I also got a massage on my back from this bed couch massage place. Salmon Sushi Taco Combo

“Lucky Tacoshi is the newest fast casual spot to hit the food court at Century City Mall. I'm happy to report it works as a quick meal. I've gone before a movie and just having one of their sushi tacos filled me right up! You order on an iPad and about 10 minutes later, have food in hand. In addition to the sushi taco I had, they have poke bowls, sushi burritos, fried mushrooms, dumplings and seaweed salad. On my stop in, I tried the tempura shrimp taco ($7.99, 353 calories) which was wrapped in fried seaweed, based with white rice, topped with two pieces of fried shrimp and drizzled with eel and spicy mayo. I loved it. I'll say this though, it all broke apart when I tried to eat so was messy AF. You've been warned. I'd love to try their other sushi tacos like the salmon, fresh shrimp and crab. My only negative besides falling apart is there was a staff who was sneezing non-stop. I didn't see them wash their hands and they handed me the taco. I was horrified, lol!!! But overall, great quick meal.“

Broadway Arcade Lobby Food Court •
540 S Broadway, Los Angeles

“Spring Arcade refers not only to the building above it, but also the grand, airy, arched arcade at ground level. You can spot it via grand, Spanish Baroque-inspired arches along either a Spring or Broadway between 5th and 6th here in DTLA. Inside is a multilevel arcade that once hosted over five dozen shops but which now appears to focus on a handful of low-key eateries at a ground-level food court. It's still wide and spacious enough to walk through and explore, similar to the 6 1/2 Avenue arcade in midtown Manhattan.“

The pricing for an airport location was astoundingly perfect for an extremely generous portion size. At first glance, I was a bit skeptical about the food. After mixing the sauce and everything else inside the bowl, I took my first bite and at that moment, I thought I was in heaven!!! The food was absolutely and amazingly delicious, but above the customer service was nothing short of spectacular. Food court Food Court •
933 Santee Street, Los Angeles

“This place really does just get it done. Bought here twice, once for my buds wedding and now my own. This place is perfect for a quick turn purchase and tailor. They have a bunch of sizes all in the same color which is very valuable when you're buying for your groomsmen. Their tailor is right next door and they walk you over to them. The staff here always leaves me feeling they hooked me up! They do talk and move fast but I personally like that pace when I'm trying to get things done last minute. Ideal for groomsmen who need the same suit all the same color and you get a shirt, tie, and handkerchief. It's a one stop shop which I appreciated! Suit quality is about what you pay for they're not the highest, but they look good in pictures and tend to be some wool blend.“
