Last Friday, we visited Canter's at 10:30 pm for a delightful late dinner. This place never fails to impress with its consistently savory food. Usually, we opt for the pastrami sandwich on a French roll, but this time we tried the Pastrami Reuben, and it was a fantastic choice. The bread was perfectly crispy, the pastrami was succulent, and the sauerkraut added just the right touch to complete the sandwich. And let's not forget the Matzoh soup! Canter’s has lost its mojo for sure. Tired service and the food was barely edible. Fruit smelled of chlorine and the muffins for eggs Benedict were cold and raw, smothered in catering hollandaise.

The food is great overall. however i ordered the corned beef hash, expecing it to be made fresh with their house made corned beef, and was extremely disappointed to be served a corned beef hash paste clearly from a can.
