I love ordering from Ono Hawaiian BBQ. My toddler asks for it all the time. She's generally a picky eater, but loves the BBQ chicken and Kalua pork. The quality is actually really good (super comparable to good eating joints on the islands).Service is awful at this location though (they are so friendly at all the other locations!) I placed a $200+ order and paid online for catering pick up on 74. Texted the menu to everyone. Now I get a call from Ono cancelling the order as they decided to close that day. I paid with an AMEX gift card and they will only refund to the card. Let's hope the refund works on the gift card. Now I need to find another caterer at last minute and then tell everyone the change in plans. Thanks Ono! Not even a gift card for the trouble they caused.

The food was hot and fresh. The portions are very large. Enough food for two people. The Hawaiian food is a mix of Asian and other cultures. If you are offered sauces be sure to try them. They are light and can be very hot and spicy. The Hawaiian Sun soda is the best soda in the world; I only get it once in awhile because of the extra cost.
