My parents brought us here when we were very young. It is still our favorite place to eat when visiting Olvera Street. The food is always fresh, they put actual avocado in their guacamole and everything tastes like authentic mexican food. Personally my favorite is the taquitos, I could eat 20 if my stomach would allow. The service is awesome, they are always so friendly and makes you feel welcome. This place is fantastic! Food was ready super fast and absolutely delicious. Best sopes ever! Jesse is so kind and helpful and he told us his family story of the restaurant. What an incredible legacy. LA history and incredible Mexican food. Yum!Vegetarian options: Potato taco was so good!!Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff! Bench seats were fun and easy for the kids. They made simple food for the kiddos too.

Little hole in the wall place in the middle of Olivera Street, and so good! Had taquitos, beef taco, rice and beans. Avocado sauce was delicious too. Great service. The guy was really sweet, constantly asking if anyone needed anything. Better prices than the rest of the places surrounding it as well.
