“A lifetime of eating Mexican food, living in Mexico and speaking Spanish fluently couldn't have prepared me for the culinary whirlwind that I experienced last night at Damian. Accompanying friends who have been long time patrons of Damian served as personal tour guides through the labyrinth of menu selections that culminated in one of the most memorable meals I have ever had as a native Angelino. What makes Damian so remarkable is the layers of flavors that appear in every dish and the surprising combinations of ingredients that while seemingly so disparate, create a fusion of flavors that one wouldn't think possible in one cuisine. The service is impeccable and the environment relaxing, intimate and simply world class.“

“This past weekend, I had the chance to visit Mirate without a reservation. Given it was Coachella weekend, I imagine it's usually tough to get a table here without a wait. Right from the moment we walked in and were directed to the bar area, I felt like something special was about to unfold. The environment was both open and lush, creating a sense of bliss similar to the feeling of being on vacation. The drinks menu was impressive, and I thoroughly enjoyed the La Soñadora, a clarified milk punch, out of the two I tried. We ordered five dishes, and four really stood out. I would definitely order the pork belly tacos, kampachi aguachile, jalapeño cornbread, and the baby gems again. We were too full to try the churros, although we wanted to. Our server was wonderful and played a big part in making our afternoon at Mirate a 5-star experience.“

“This was my first Michelin star restaurant that I have experienced that I heard about from Tik Tok. It lived up to the hype. I recommend going early or after lunch as it packed during lunch time. The line is out the door. The food is delicious and I would recommend to any seafood lover. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food in each dish. If you are the the downtown area it definitely a must try. It right next door to the DMV so it not a lot of parking so you have to drive around to a spot open up if you go during lunch time. It is loud in there as it is a food hall with about 6 other restaurants in the same building. It is still a good experience and worth giving a try.“

We ordered the five taco plate and sides of corn, mom‘s beans, the vegetarian beans, potatoes with chorizo, corn, and rice. We also tried the coconut rose milk lime drink, and the cucumber salad . My husband, especially like the jeera chicken and corn. I loved the Carne Asada and goat tacos. The green sauce is fabulous. The fresh house made corn tortillas also really take the tacos to the next level. We really enjoyed our meal here. “Family owned and operated truck located in Boyle Heights / East LA area that specializes in tacos arabes and goodies from Puebla in general. The tacos arabes were a result of Lebanese immigrants to the area and boy are they delicious. I came here later on a Thursday night so it wasn't very busy and it was pretty chill. Just a few other people around me. The folks here were friendly and helpful. I ordered:A taco arabe especiale- their signature taco with their marinated roast pork on this soft flower tortilla. This was topped Oaxacan cheese and slices of avocado (especiale). There was this chipotle sauce on top of everything. The sauce added some smokiness to an already great flavor and texture profile. I really liked that flour tortilla. Quesadilla de flor de calabaza - zucchini blossoms with melted Oaxacan cheese inside a blue corn tortilla. Love corn and I love this. Nice and chewy with earthy and slightly sweet flavors to go along with their delicious salsaDefinitely recommend for tacos/ quesadillas etc etc or if you are just in the mood for something a little different.“

“Location a bit unusual, but I am not from the area, so maybe it is not. The service was fine. The prices were good. Our foreign exchange student had pollo and asada, which he enjoyed, but said the steak was the better of the two. My partner had the vampiro, which she loved. Finally, I had the quesataco with chivo. It had just the right amount of juice and gaminess. The offer a wide variety of tasty salsas and drinks. With the countless options in the LA area, I would have to be near it or have a goat craving to eat here again.“

“Got the fish special, lobster tacos, mushroom cheese dip and Guacamole of course. Everything was amazing. Ended up making nachos with the appetizers. We devoured everything. Service was great! I have anxiety for no good reason so when they sat me by the fire place, I asked to sit by the window. They made it happen no problem. Had to wait but I was grateful ?“

“Found this little eatery which served Mexican food. Looked like a family run business. Their tacos were so good and tasty. Burritos too hot and fresh!! Nice little place to eat and hang out. Just by the street. I wanted the sour cream and Chipotle sauce off my taco. The lady happily obliged to the request. Definitely recommend them.“

“Delia's has been our favorite lunch spot for years now, and for good reason! Their chile verde special is absolutely to die for - it's our go-to dish every time. The customer service is top-notch, with the owner and kids being incredibly sweet and welcoming. The food quality and flavor are consistently amazing, and the outdoor seating creates a charming atmosphere that feels like you're enjoying a meal in your grandma's backyard, surrounded by beautiful plants. “Third time here and we're loving it. The staff are all amazing, very friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious and the vibe and the happy hour makes it top-notch. Beautiful decor! We are in love with the pool table. We had the chicken flautas this time and the chicken tacos but I forgot to get a picture of the flautas. We scarfed them down so fast lol. Fresh ingredients and good portions. Sophia was our server and she was perfect and then TJ and Casey just made the whole experience wonderful! Shout out to Ray as well. She's our favorite! Highly recommend this place! See you soon!“

“The food was very good. My favorite thing was the spicy Pescado tacos. The chorizo scramble on toast was not as good as I was hoping it would be, but I did love the mimosa option with a flight of juices to kind of make your own mimosa. got there fairly early so there weren't many people and there, so the noise level was low and the atmosphere there is very charming and warm..“
