I came here with two friends on a late and not busy Sunday evening. John was our server and he was quite an exceptional and excellent server. Service was fast, efficient and polite. The food was amazing. Heavy-hitters such as the Honey Walnut Shrimp have nothing to envy other places. Even classics such as Mongolian Beef were delicious and had a new twist to themselves. I had a great experience at Fortune House. We were craving typical Chinese food. I always see this "house" driving down Olympic and San Vicente. It's been there for years! We walked in and sat at a booth. The server was extremely nice and made us feel welcomed. We ordered many dishes and took most of it home. It's great food to satisfy your Chinese food cravings. I will definitely come back!

Lately the service is standoffish and minimal. The food quality is going downhill as well. I recently bought a chicken dish with vegetables, and the chicken tasted more like fish than chicken. It was edible, but not very enjoyable. Diverse and tasty food!
