Don't let the name of this place fool you. It's a bakery and dim sum spot! On a recent visit through Chinatown I came to check out this place after many years later and after the pandemic had subsided. Heads up cash only! It's a local mom and pop and family owned business. KBC Bakery is absolutely the best Chinese bakery I have ever been to in my life. The egg tarts ARE AMAZING ... they are better than 85C and Portos!!!! And I have had my share of egg tarts.. best in all USA. I would highly recommend the egg custard sweet bread. Just ask for it and they will know exactly what you are talking about. Go around 9am and the bread is fresh !!! The prices are really cheap and sometimes I want to tell them to charge more. The ladies don't really interact...read full review
