So good! I had the pupusa with beef and cheese, but you can pick from any of the fillings. Had an egg on top and you can choose the style. I went with over easy but it was a tad over cooked so the yolk didn't drip. If you dine in, they provide a whole container of curtido. So good. There's also a side sauce but truly not necessary because the dish is good on its own. Street parking available.
Now this is something new for me! During a friend's birthday a giant pupusa was ordered. It came out of a pizza box and was totally thrown off thinking we were having pizza but I was tricked! It was a giant pupusa!! I've never had anything like this in my life and this is somewhat of a game changer. The ingredients inside were proportioned nicely. I've had pan con pollo at other "salvi" spots and they always disappoint because the bread is too crunchy or stingy with the chicken. However, at La Pupusa Urban Eatery they know the assignment. Fresh bread and the flavor is fire. If you haven't visited, you're missing out!
