“I love this place, and I love the people who run this place. The food is amazing, full of amazing fusion flavor. But I think the experience of sitting with your friends and chatting with Bee and Wali, the owners, is great. They have a way of making you feel seen and special. It's honestly a wonderful place and really deserves to be checked out!“
“After visiting Hijo de su Madre several times for their award winning and phenomenal Yucetecan vegan greatness I was quite excited when I saw on their IG they were adding a vegan burger menu. It just launched a few days ago, but is already my favorite burger (got the Phat Hass Burger) in LA and I have had them all. Even more profoundly, they have the best loaded frots I’ve ever had by a landslide! Run don’t walk to try the new menu (will be on the delivery apps soon!) and then keep coming back because everything on the menu is perfection. 5 stars!!!“
“Great slices and great customer service. Might be the best crust in LA. I heard they use something like 27 different flours or something wild. Whatever it is, the attention to detail really shines through. You can tell it’s special just looking at it, but biting in, it’s obviously special. Incredible flavor throughout. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. I’m even tempted to try some of the vegan stuff ??♂️“
“I'm so sad that this place is so far because this place is so good! My husband and I ordered the Saucy Butter Chicken Wings, Paneer Masala Fries, Kahmiri Alla Pasta, Spiced Lamb, and Curry Fun (Chana Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala). Our favorites were the wings, fries, and pasta! Must orders. We also had the Mango Lassi and the Pink Punjabi. We both preferred the Mango Lassi. The Pink Punjabi tasted like milky sprite with a hint of rose. For dessert, we finished with the Rose Doughnuts because the Halwa Ice Cream Sandwich wasn't ready. I think I would've preferred the ice cream sandwich because the doughnuts were way too sweet for me. It is a little pricey than what I'm used to - since I live closer to Little India in Artesia. But it's the pricing for the area its in to be honest. Love that this spot is halal and vegan/gluten-free friendly. There's a public parking lot that didn't have an attendant, but had signs to still pay the amount of $10 in a box. We didn't want to risk it, so we parked in the neighborhood and walked. Our service was fantastic with Rajat. The place was clean and vibrant. Everything came out hot, ready, and pretty!“
“We have been wanting to go for some time, so were super stoked to get here this week. Food was delicious. We loved the okra salad and definitely the Maafe stew. Yum! Definitely recommend those. Mike enjoyed his cocktail. Service was spot on. The welcoming was awesome and our server was kind, friendly, and super excited about the menu. We will be back.“
“My first time at Little Barn.. a vegan spot. It was just after the rain so everything was soaked. I could tell that if things were dry then the back seating area would be cute. The person taking our order was nice but the service wasn't as helpful as I would have liked considering it was my first time. The food was good but not amazing. I ordered the tamales which I had to discard the masa as it was too thick and hard. The monte Cristo sandwich was pretty good. I really liked the strawberry chocolate scone though. That was really good. I would definitely try it again.“
“ou won't miss the meat" at this "go-to for high-end vegan" and vegetarian dining, a "phenomenal" "late-night find" on Melrose offering "inspired" "comfort food" and "creative" Vegan cafés abound in health-conscious L.A., but Crossroads Kitchen, which opened in 2013, sets itself apart by turning plant-based dining into a white tablecloth affair. Crossroads is a high-end vegan restaurant for carnivores. Plant-based chef to the stars Tal Ronnen—he counts Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres as clients.“
“First time here, but I'm definitely coming back.i got the jumbo beef dog with Pastrami. It's very tasty. Great service! Everyone was great!!. One of the owners is pictured. He threw in a small cup of chili, which was really good. By recommendation, I mixed the punch with the lemonade. Definitely recommend doing that! The outsider seating was nice. Even though Crenshaw is a main drag. The seating is set away from the street. If you haven't been you need to go.“
“This had to be our first stop when getting to LA, very close to the airport which was super convenient! Very clean, and delicious options. We got the “Best Sandwich” and it lived up to its name! Lots of fresh juice options, grab and go food items. Love the vibe and the owner is very friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend.“
“Clean, cute, good service, yummy. I got the Bachos which like a Jamaican nachos. I never had Jamaican food to know but I liked it. Salty for me but I don't add salt to anything and the Frito type chips already come that way I think. I got the lentil as my protein, which was like crumbled falafel. The cheese sauce was like a salad dressing texture and flavor. Reminded me of Cesar salad dressing. I think I found a raisin in there and I didn't mind. Would definitely come back. Thanks for feeding this vegan passing by the area.“
“I've had their strawberry shakes and peanut butter shakes so far, and they are so delicious!! The donuts are unbelievably delicious. I wish I had known about this place before. Now I'm a regular.Vegetarian options: It's a vegan donut shop. Safe for vegetarians.Parking: There is paid public parking on 51st Ave. North of York St.Kid-friendliness: Well, they offer donuts, ice cream, and shakes. I guess that makes it kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: The shop is on the ground level. There are no stairs to obstruct.“
“I'm half Thai but not vegan, and I brought my vegan friend here. The food was pretty good in our opinion! We got Thai tea (good, considering it's vegan), egg rolls (just OK for me but I generally don't like restaurant egg rolls), and drunken noodles (pretty good). The dining room is tiny but nice and bright on a sunny day. Our waitress was friendly and patient while we looked over the menu. The prices weren't bad either, so definitely try it out if you like Thai food and are in the area looking for veg options!Vegetarian options: Everything is veganDietary restrictions: Everything is veganParking: There is a small lot in the back. I think part of Bennett has free 2 hr parking. About a block west on Cahuenga, there are metered spots (30 min, 1 hr, 2hr)“
“Excellent Ramen, Kyushu Style Noodles (thin and not overcooked) The Soup was unexpectedly delicious, inspired to the Tonkotsu Pork Broth. I lived in Japan two years and this the first time I find something so authentic, comparable to the Original Japanese Ramen. Overal Super Recommended!!!“
“I havent tried any soups or fufu yet but i have tried the jollof rice, cutie chips, butternut squash, deez nugs, and mac wings and let me tell you they hit the tastebuds everytime! They dont miss with these alkaline foods. You should forsure try the jollof rice with chickpeas its even better! As for the deez nugs and mac wings, season them to your liking!“

“my friend bashes indian food and perhaps not just their food well let's keep that to ourselves shall we the problem is the price fundamentally an american may view this cuisine as exotic however i also view it as exotic but perhaps not worth the exorbitant fees they charge perhaps indian food in LA is a bigger racket than anything scorsese filmed about“
“I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“
“This is my partner's ALL TIME FAVORITE ice cream spot! We often make the trek from the OC to LA to come here--now there's a location in Costa Mesa too. The staff are always friendly. And the decor is always super cute. I love me on of their chocolate dipped ice cream bars! ^_^“
“Special place. Tiny place. Incredible selection. Top two donut places in the city by my count. Best cinnamon roll and jelly donuts in town. Never been much for the celestial donuts but they certainly make for a pretty display. Their breakfast sandwiches are definitely not the star but a good addition. The staff is great, too. Really kind and patient, and when there are sooooooooo many choices that it a really good thing. Definitely going here again.“
“I've been wanting to come here for the longest and I'm the only thing that makes me mad/sad is that I didn't visit sooner because WOW! Plenty of parking! Lots of seating, both indoor and outside. The entire place is clean and smells wonderful (not fried or stinky like other fast food joints). The employees were SUPER friendly and helped us navigate the kiosk and explained that we were welcome to get refills of the fountain drinks and were encouraged to try the different flavors.Everything was DELICIOUS! My husband ordered the holy guacamole burger, I got the California burrito with sweet potato fries and my children ordered the kids meal. One chicken nugget and one cheeseburger. The burrito was phenomenal! Very hearty and filling. Lots of flavor. And these had to be the best sweet potato fries ever! Perfectly cooked and fresh. I especially loved the drinks. The strawberry dragonfruit drink with black tea was so refreshing! The hibiscus one was stellar too!Amazing plant based fast food! Clean bathrooms. Ample parking. And they cater! This might be my new obsession prepare to be tired of seeing my face there lolDietary restrictions: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, they also label things in case you have a nut allergy which I appreciate.Parking: Ample parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals and lots of seating/music.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and easy access“
“Purple protein smoothieSuper cute atmosphere with a clean bathroom (faucet has hot water ?)My smoothie was sooo delicious, tasted amazing but somehow not too much sugar and came in a sick glass jar?!Staff was really nice as I was early afCan’t wait to sit in sometimeDef recommend, from vegan/vegetarian to poke! Everyone can get good healthy food“
“Visited on a Friday night around 8pm.Ambiance is really nice and perfect for a date night. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant is picturesque. We ordered the following:Salt and Peppered Paella (living): 4/5Yucca Friend Pho Beef Everything was so good!!! They have so many options and the waitress was really helpful in providing recommendations. The servings are huge! I honestly can’t wait to go back.Highly recommend!! FYI no alcohol is served there but they have really fun drinks and teas!“
“OMG, everything there - just perfect! There wasn't a single thing here that I didn't like. From the pizza, to two different pasta dishes, to all of the sushi, slider, and bang bang broccoli - it's mouthwatering! Loved the dragon roll, crispy rice, and basically anything with unagi is absolutely fantastic. Wasn't super thrilled with the orange wine (I think that's what it was?) but the house white was good! This place is a total vibe, for a sexy little vegan dinner date night! Service is incredible, everyone is nice and attentive, and quick with delivery and clearing out plates. Music selection was great. Overall, loved loved loved it! Recommend to everyone and a place I'll definitely be coming back to!“
“Per usual the food at nic's was so good! Got the bang bang broccoli which I'll absolutely order regularly, and the bianco pizza. Also the side of fries are amazing (random, I know). Banana split was yummy too! I love this restaurant so much, and so do my friends.“
“Wow. I liked Indimex before they changed management, now I love it! I wrote a review 7 years ago with a follow up 6 years ago pre covid. Remember when? During Covid and even more recently, I would order and have it delivered. But tonight I saw they were open and there was parking space right in front so I went in person. Wonderfully warm new owner, quaint dining room albeit small but remodeled and the new owner has plans for more. - feels more authentically Indian with a Mexican twist. Indian movie posters and music, colorful walls and tables. Their Chicken Tikka Masala sauce is the real deal as is the raita. Delicious. The chicken tikka masala quesadillas are reasonable and filling. I'm so glad they survived Covid and with this new management I'm excited to see what comes next. Have an adventure as I said in my original posting 7 years ago. Tired of the same old same old? Support local businesses. And enjoy!“
“I'm not even vegan or gluten-free, I just love the food! The first time I stopped by was for a party I was having and I wanted sweets for people with various dietary restrictions. I wasn't even home before I decided to try one. It was so good, I had to call them and let them know how much I loved it!From what I've heard from other bakeries is... you can do vegan and make it good, or you can do gluten-free and make it good, but it's really tricky to get both together and make it taste right. But Cake Girl makes it taste right! Rich and moist and not too "fake".I refer friends here all the time, and although I normally avoid eating too many sweets, I do love stopping by on occasion for a treat!I love the location and everyone there is really nice!“
“Amazing Mexican food. The home made tortillas were so good and the Mexican brown rice was such an awesome brown rice prep. Great service, nice people. We missed a couple items on our takeout order and the restaurant promptly refunded us. Really appreciated the help with that one.“
“Grain Café Van Nuys is creative LA California cuisine/Mexican/Central American food. They will work with you to figure out particular dietary requirements/restrictions. This branch is in a space that used to be a single family dwelling, although hasn't been used that way for decades. So you still have a homey environment to eat in. It just adds to the warm experience. Recommended highly!“
“Bulan is by FAR My All Time Favorite Place to EAT when I’m in LA??️? The food is Outstanding and Always on Par! I Highly recommend the Inferno Chicken, Yellow Curry w/chicken, and if you L?VE Peanut Sauce Definitely TRY “Under the Specials Dishes” Sizzling Pra Ram Also love the Hot Wings as an Appetizer! We Love You Bulan! We Will Always Be BACK & Always Recommend You! ??Vegetarian options: The Absolute Best Vegan THAI Food!!!“
“This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants. It's actually a Thai restaurant and it's so amazing. Start with the soup. It's so delicious and authentically thai. I've never had a bad meal here and it's definitely one of my staples for Los Angeles. Yes, it is completely vegan!Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan“
“One of my favorite eateries in the world. I’m from France and this is one of the few places that is as indulgent as home with their baked goods. They made me a beautiful birthday cake years ago despite an unusual flavor request. Their biscuit-bun burger is delicious and the terrace is an awesome cozy spot to hang out. A must try if you’re in the area!“
“I’ve been here a couple times. Good service and ambiance with a convenient parking lot and some street parking. I have tried the veggie and margarita as well as the Mac n Cheese specialty they have on Sundays. They were all delicious. I didn’t expect the Mac n Cheese to be good but had to try it and was pleasantly surprised. This is my new spot for slices!“
“Wow wow wow!!! You have to come here for the most delicious sandwiches; the “turkey” sandwich was honestly the most delicious, fulfilling, and amazing sandwich I have EVER had :) it was hot fireeeee—my sister & I each got one and devoured them hehe :)) We were visiting the area from MA and it was our last day or else we would’ve come back for the chopped cheese and breakfast sandwich; everything looked so delicious! This truly was the best deli sandwich I’ve ever had and it was all plant based WERKKK!! The “turkey” was unlike any plant based substitute I’ve tried it was the BEST!! All the veggies were so fresh and the roll oooooo don’t get me started it was soooooo yummy!! Can’t wait to come back to the area and will definitely be coming by here again :) (my sister got some sexyyyyy photos of the sandwich too :))“
“The food is great, a vegan take on soul food, but the wait is ridiculous. I've ordered many times hoping the wait improves, and as of current it hasn't. They open at 6pm and for me that is already late to have a meal, but worse I end up getting my order at least 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. after the designated pickup time. I truly hope the best, but I just can't roll with this.“
“This place literally tastes how I remember McDonalds to. It's good for a reminiscent moment and if you're hung over but otherwise as you'd expect not the BEST food. 5 stars though because that's exactly what you expect and want when you come to a place like this.“
“OMG this is thee absolute best vegan spot I have ever experienced. I ordered the tofu chow mein. Lots of tofu and veggies and these eggless noodles taste like your regular egg noodles without the guilt and cholesterol! I will definetly be a regular! Amazing food! Gracie N.“
“Food 11/10 and the Service 1000/10!!We are a german couple on vacation in LA. We saw the Cena in the Internet and went for it. We had no Internet and couldn‘t Order so we were staying outside and didn‘t know what to do. Then This beautiful Lady appears, got us in and made us super delicious food. She was wonderful Friendly and helpfull. THANKS AGAIN!!“
“The Hudade special combo was so delicious and satisfying. All the different items went so well together, with the veggies cooked to the perfect texture. This is the best I've had at any Ethiopian restaurant. Ordering take out was pretty easy, but the restaurant is welcoming and warm -- looks great for dine in. Will definitely be back.“
“The food here is so good! We went twice during our visit to LA. We had the chicken and waffles, the spring rolls, the chicken burger and an impossible burger. All were so good I definitely want to come back next time I’m in town!Vegetarian options: Menu is entirely vegan and deliciously vegan!“
“There are few places that leave both my hunger and heart satiated. Electric Karma is one of them. From the amazing food to the wonderful customer service and the amazing company I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying here, I cannot express how happy this place makes me feel.I’m eternally grateful to have shared conversations with my dear friends in the back room, legs crossed, hunched over the low tables. There’s something so special about passing plates back and forth, ensuring everyone gets their fair share, that makes me feel so lucky.Whenever I make plans to go here, I look forward to it all day. I can’t wait to come back and share space with the host and my friends again soon. I’d give them 6 stars if I could :)“
“Great spot to get juices, smoothies, and snacks. The employees are nice, it's clean and has a funky vibe. I'm going to try the juices the next time I'm In the area. If you're out for a walk this is a good place to get your snack.“
“I asked Vegan AF to cater an event for about 50-60 diverse people and Chanel killed it. Our guests said they would be fully converted to veganism if it meant eating her hand-fried crispy wraps stuffed with a flavorable combination of vegetables and faux meats. This is really important to my family who tease me for being vegetarian. She showed up early so we had time to organize things in the party room to best serve her needs and the flow of the event. The pink containers and branding made sure that everyone who loved her food would be able to find her. There were a lot of designers, so branding was important. Most importantly, Vegan AF complimented the community festival vibe of the night. I look forward to eating Vegan AF again and again as many of the guests that night. Thank you, Chanel.“
“Awesome gluten free donuts.... In a variety of flavors.... And never fried! My favorite is pancakes & syrup, strawberry shortcake and of course... Churro! Their all-natural, Fotella (Nutella alternative), is also awesome. Order your sourdough early, because they sell out early. Highly recommend.“
“Simply Delish, creative & extremely yummy food. As a 7 month vegan newly vegan, I’m looking at o experiment with taste texture & creative & healthy ways to nourish my body. Had the pleasure to share this experience with my friend from college whom I had not seen in over 20 years. When I return to LA, I will definitely repeat the visit!!!“
“Such an amazing gem. Wanted to eat after a night out but finding vegan and healthy food was tough. This was worth the drive! The food was incredible, so flavorful, all organic and vegan. So much selection. We are the grain pancakes with the tofu scramble, sausage and has brown and the waffle deluxe. Generous portions and well seasoned as well as they served it with date syrup. The hot chocolate with oat milk was the best I've had. The cinnamon was so fresh and not too sweet. The vibe is such a trip because it's like entering a portal with snoop dog on a wall and then Mayan woodwork art.Great service too!100% recommend and open til 12a on a friday“
“Excellent vegan food. I got the vegan pho, which was HUGE. Normally vegan pho comes with more vegetable in it and this one comes with only spinach, so I decided to order a side of steamed broccoli. But when the soup came, I was shocked at how big the portion was. To be honest I was starving and even then I could have not ordered the broccoli and been fine. There was plenty of spinach in the phon and it was packed full of flavor. The waitress was very friendly and the place was clean. Parking was ok, I ended up parking on the residential street to the left of the restaurant because the lot seemed too packed directly in front of the restaurant.Vegetarian options: EverythingDietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten-free“
“Ice cream + donuts is always a hit! Service here is always fast and friendly! I love their Paramoreo donut with Paramoreo ice cream! (Think Cookie Monster Oreo ice cream) My only complaint is that they don't have as much donut options as their sister shop, Donut Friend. Parking can be kind of tricky as it does get busy on sunset and it's street parking only.“
“Yummy! I've been really into acai lately. When I got a job in Century City, I found myself going to the Century City mall on a daily for lunch. During one of my lunch outings, I came across Oakberry Acai. When I entered, I was getting huge Deja Vu. I realized that I had been there once before thanks to a Yelp event. Since my experience went well during the Yelp event, I already knew I was going to like it.The place was clean and straight to the point. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who helped me order. I got an acai with granola, chia seeds, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. It definitely hit the spot! It tasted fresh and it was filling. Thank you!!“
“I was in desperate need of a spot to post up and work for a while. Native Son came to mind and I couldn’t have chosen better. J could quickly sense my level of stress and set me up w a comfy spot w an outlet and wifi. He asked me what I liked for beer and his recs were spot on.Thanks for making a tricky afternoon a little brighter. I’ll be back and I hope others do too!“
“This place is very close to achieving what it's setting out to do: provide an elegant vegetarian dining experience. I think that might be hard to pull off in a strip mall however. The food and the art are fantastic but the interior design was poorly executed and comes off looking a little cheap. I went for my birthday but for the price this might have been a one time experience. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-06“
