Chill place for locals. Great drinks and good bartender staff. Look for Theo, Richie or Nina for the best drinks and great customer service. One of the last “local” spots in dtla that isn’t infested with tourists. Highly recommend for a chill night or meet up with friends.

Been there a few times. A nice place to hangout after work. The environment can get pretty loud.

Really enjoyed this bar. We stopped in for a cocktail early Saturday evening, it was not too crowded. Full bar and they have a few of their signature creations. Atmosphere was chill, recommend to check out if in the area.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here and we had a great time. We were able to reserve a table section in the corner and have a great girls night. I think it was a full bar, drinks are good and I loved the names of them (they all reference a classic book title). They served some food until 11 but I can only speak for their fries which were good. Not too big of a place but a decent crowd size. Super fun, I would go again.

Delicious fries & hummus. Great drink selection with very creative names. Cute decor that gives it that "library" vibe.

I love the vibe in this place. It's very clubby and cozy, always welcoming. The bar staff I've met have always been engaging and engaged regardless of how busy they are. And being a big fan of stemware, I can tell you that they pour an excellent martini.

Came on a Sunday night, playlist was PERFECT! Drinks were great, food was amazing! Atmosphere was as chill, cool and comfortable as it can get! First time Visiting LA and after going to a bunch of pretentious, expensive spots this bar won my heart!!! Decor was also on point, wish they open a bar like this is Vancouver, well done!!!

came here for a post-work happy hour on a friday- definitely recommend this happy hour, great prices and a good variety of drinks and food! I had a mexican mule, bee's knees, and french 75, and for food we shared the hh chicken bites, and library fries. the drinks and food were great, both were served quite quickly. it was very busy during the happy hour (as expected), the bar is a bit dim, very cool decor, my only complaint was the confusion upon entering, typically places with tables separated from the bar need to be reserved or have a server, here the tables/couches are all open and you still go up to the bar to order (for both food and drinks)

I love the ambiance here. It is very relaxing with chill vibes, speakeasy on one side and sports bar on the other. The few books I did confirm were indeed real so it's not just a fake facade or backdrop. Space is quite limited though with lounge and bar seating mainly. I am not sure how large crowds would work here. The drinks here are strong as they should be! As reference, I always start with an Old Fashioned cocktail. if I can. We ate beforehand so I only had cocktails but will definitely come back for more. Service is at the bar only and you seat yourself which I prefer in this case. It is kind of hidden and hard to find at night with an obscure sign on the curb. The parking was easy since we parked by the structure by Bottega Louie and walked over. I did see street parking spots along the way despite us going on a Saturday night though so it's worth a shot.
