Well, it's right next to the our dinner restaurant so we decided to try it out. I haven seen so many social media posts about Melo Melo. I got the coffee coconut flavor dessert. It is pricy considering the portion I got. Very small jar and charges over $10. I'm not sure what other value did I get except the coconut jelly with some espresso coffee underneath. Staff is pretty friendly. But overall vibe is slow that I don't want to hang out with my friends here. Because it's too quiet that I feel other people can hear what we are talking about. If you never tried it before, you can give it a try. For me, I wouldn't come back again.

I'm a huge fan of anything made with coconut so it just seemed natural to give Melo Melo a try! The first thing I noticed was all the coconut jellies were in glass jars .. which lowkey I was excited knowing I was gonna be able to repurpose them and the Melo Melo name would live on forever in my home LOL! I later found out there were #recycle options too. You can save the empty glass jars and trade them in for a FREE full jar :-) YUM! The coconut jelly has a super silky smooth texture and the flavors are creative and seasonal. The coconuts used come straight from Thailand and all ingredients are sourced locally to maintain freshness. I was expecting the jellies to be more firm and super sweet but the flavors we tried were so refreshing, light and not overwhelming. The dessert is very easy to eat and I can see why people buy in bulk. My favorite was the Coconut Triple which is served inside a coconut with the addition of coconut jelly. I wish they served this one with metal spoons so you could easily scrape out the coconut flesh. But seriously .... the Coconut Triple is the ultimate coconut lover's choice. What we tried: Strawberry Peach Gum Triple Latte Avocado Coconut Sesame Walnut Coconut Coconut Triple Definitely recommend stopping at one of their locations and giving Melo Melo a try for a unique dessert experience. We went to the Ktown location. It's valet only parking in the lot but we had no trouble finding street/metered parking. Melo Melo has a colorful interior with cutesy pastel painted walls and lots of seating.

Glad this chain really popped off so many locations have appeared since the last time I visited. It used to be that this spot was the closest one to me but there is a newer location in sawtelle which I really don't feel that inclined to go to but it is always an option. I only like the mango dessert but that is often sold out. A should try at least once if you like coconut desserts! You get to keep the jar if you want or can recycle at the store

I love coconut desserts so I had to stop by since I was in the area. The shop was cute and clean with plenty of tables. Service was quick. There were so many options and unique flavors. I also loved that they came in glass jars. I ended up getting the mango puree coconut and matcha strawberry. Both were so good, but the star of the show was definitely the mango puree coconut! It was light and airy with just the right amount of sweetness.

If you're on the lookout for a light and refreshing dessert that isn't the same old ice cream or milk tea, Melo Melo is the place to go! When I last went, I tried the osmanthus flavor which was so yummy! Everything is already premade and displayed in a fridge to look at so you can easily choose. The main downside would be finding free and easily accessible parking, but that's Koreatown for you, so not much they can do. Otherwise, Melo Melo is a great spot for a unique dessert that will satisfy your sweet treat craving even after a heavy meal like KBBQ!

I came here for dessert after dinner which was next door. I got the ube coconut dessert, and since they were closing, they packed the jar in a bag and included spoons and napkins. The dessert itself was good. The consistency was a bit softer and smoother than I'd imagine, but wasn't bad. The ube was on the bottom of the jar, but I did really enjoy the ube flavor. It wasn't too sweet, which I liked. Overall, the dessert is good but it's pricey. I would come back here but more as a treat.

Cute little spot to try some creative desserts. All Coconut based, so they are mostly vegan.Rich in flavor, yet light and refreshing.

Melo Melo offers a lactose-free indulgence with their vegan coconut pudding, making it a great option for those with dietary restrictions like myself. The store's cleanliness is appealing to me, but the pudding warmed too quickly even on a chilly night. The texture left me less impressed. Parking on a Saturday was chaotic, with valet as the primary option, but I lucked out with street parking nearby. While I appreciated the opportunity to enjoy dairy-free flavors like mango and strawberry, they weren't particularly memorable, and I don't feel inclined to revisit for new flavors. Overall, Melo Melo provided a decent dairy-free treat experience, but it didn't leave a lasting impression.
