10/10. Minroi has to be one of the best sushi places in all of LA. It's delicious, dependable, and reasonably priced. I've come to this place for several years and I feel like I like it even more every time I come back. They have a ion of options and their sushi tastes amazing A couple of my favorites: Bento box (they call it the lunch box or dinner box) Shrimp tempura roll Beef Udon Salmon tataki roll Rainbow roll Sashimi special - my favorite 5 stars! Delicious! 100% worth it!

I'm a huge lover of sushi. I've been to all types of Japanese restaurants, from extremely upscale to a place in your average mall. This sushi is excellent for the price. It's on par with a higher quality restaurant and uses *simple* ingredients and sauces that don't overwhelm the makis. You can really taste the fish. I've also ordered take out from Minori AND dined in - both experiences were just as great. The servers and chefs are truly kind and the atmosphere is very casual and approchable. No frills, just very solid sushi!

Just north of Pico on Robertson, Minori sits quietly in a corner to an alley where you can find parking at the back. There is not much to the restaurant- it' actually feels a bit run down and old but it's clean and is open all day, so that makes it convenient. They have a big menu - from classic simple sushi/sashimi to fancy combination rolls. Not cheap but as good sushi goes, well priced. Their specialty rolls are good too and they've got ramens and tempura. Pretty much everything you can think of. We ordered a lot - what stood out most for me was the Spicy Tuna Crackers - very good. The Mango paradise roll was creative and unique. Their classic fatty yellow tail sushi was the best, generously cut and with just the amount of rice - loved it. Everything else was fine.....though with everything on their menu, next time, I'd skip the shrimp/vegetable tempura appetizer - they may have better things. Service was friendly, quick and attentive. All in all, a really good Robertson neighborhood find.

I used to walk by here alot in the 90s and finally tried it out. I had an Asahi beer, Poke bowl, spyder roll and saba(mackerel)sushi costing me $50 total. It was very tasty and filling. The spyder roll was larger than at most sushi restaurants.Service was also fast but a negative is the Owner lady was rushing me to leave. There were only a few other customers and I wasn't there long. The other major negative was for an expensive sushi restaurant(bordering Beverly Hills)the interior and furniture is very drab and rundown. The place needs a major overhaul and interior update.Recommended sushi restaurant with the above qualifications.

We gave this place a go based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. The food was great, nice presentation, flavorful and filling as well, the prices are reasonable, good service.

I first found this neighborhood gem in 1995 and remembered it when I moved back to the neighborhood and craved sushi. I don't know whether the ownership changed in the span, but this place is worth checking out. It is a family-owned, family-friendly sushi spot, and the pride of ownership can be seen by the cleanliness. There is always a table open when I go, and they have options for non-adventurous diners (like young children and those new to sushi). So this is a perfect fit for the whole family or to take a new date. And best of all, for sushi lovers, this place hits that sweet spot between price value and quality. The service can be hit or miss and could use some improvement, but overall, I love supporting this mom and pop small neighborhood business.
