We came on a weekday afternoon without particularly high expectations, the restaurant is pretty small and wasn't too busy, but we were super pleasantly surprised! We thought the prices were a little high at first but realized that the portions were huge. Two lunch entrees were plenty for our party of three and they also came with large bowls of rice and bowls of soup. Flavors were great and very authentic. Overall was very impressed and would love to come again
Been going on and off for years, and never lived near it. This is hands down the best Chinese food in LA. Not NYC style takeout more authentic healthy, everything is great. They give you tea with your meal, and the rice soup and walnut shrimp are always amazing!

Ordered lunch special the Zi ran lamb and baby bok choy with mushrooms. The Paradise desire and salt n pepper fish from regular menu. All the dishes tasted very good.forgot to take photos b4 eating. Excellent service A very cozy spot with 8-10 tables I guess. Clean restroom with adequate supplies. Want to try the Peking duck and other dishes next time around.
