Don't let the neighborhood scare you off. This is truly a diamond in the rough!!! The service was good, our waiter was good, not great, he messed up on my customer's entree, but the food far made up for any minor missteps. The portions are generous and we all shared some of our entrees. I had some self proclaimed Foodies with me as work guests and they agreed the experience was fantastic. It feels like it can be great, but it wasn't for us. We probably just got unlucky with timing. Our waiter kept rushing and slamming dishes and water loudly on our table. I suppose he was busy with another big table, but it just felt stressful. Little disturbances aside, food was fantastic. Octopus salad was on point. The welcoming was excellent by the manager and the flexibility to change from outdoor to indoor seating. The food was great. The steak was perfectly cooked and the octopus was tender and savory. The green beans were the exception to the excellence. They were too spicy and it tasted oddly. Manager made it right for us. Thank you!
