I’ll put aside the paradox of Shake Shack, in that it’s quite delicious, but eye-wateringly overpriced. That being said, this location is surprisingly clean and well maintained, given its location in the heart of a downtown area. They encourage ordering at the digital kiosks or via their app, but the staff is still approachable if you need anything. I am a fan of Shake Shack and always make a point to stop in when I am in the US. There has been some changes since my last visit, at this store anyway. Other than the major price hike, the service platform is now entirely on the customer, you don't have the option for human service but the computer still has the hide to ask you for a minimum 15% tip when even it didn't do the work. Nice place, clean restrooms, great food, but the 5 stars is really about the FILTERED WATER DISPENSER. What a commodity out here, free water that doesn't taste like bleached sewage.
