Silver Platter is a hole in the wall bar with a Central American Latino flair, welcoming a diverse crowd of millennials and up. The place offers table service or a visit to the bar, where you can enjoy beers and maybe a LA street dog from the vendors outside. Despite some harsh reviews, the live band and packed dance floor create a lively atmosphere. The bartender is friendly, and the prices are reasonable.
