I was blown away by Sonoratown. Everything we got there was incredible, especially the steak tacos, juicy with an incredible smoky flavor from the grill and the salsa. This is one of the only places I’ve ever found in Los Angeles that has salsa de chiltepin. That alone sold me but the tasty marinated meat they offer AND the coconut milk horchata (move over, Erewhon) takes this place to a whole other level. Yes it’s a little pricy but where isn’t these days especially in that part of town.
