“Good Japanese foods , many varieties of dishes . The fish grilled sea bass is cooked just perfectly fine . The salad is kinda american Japanese fusion but still good . The carbonara noodle - I don’t really care (It doesn’t really fit with the rest of the dishes) - overall is a great place to enjoy Japanese foods“

“We had a wonderful dinner with fresh seafood and warm, attentive service. The thoughtful appetizers and today’s specials were also excellent. Since there are very few authentic sushi restaurants in the area, this place is truly a gem.

For a reservation of seven people, a $30 deposit per person is required. The deposit is applied toward the final bill on the day of your reservation.“

“What a special treat. Visiting LA, and my daughter made a reservation for dinner. We did not have omakase bar seats, but had the dining room omakase. Absolutely fantastic. Service was excellent, attention to every detail. The omakase sushi dinner was maybe some of the best fish I’ve ever eaten.
I need the mention the house Martini, one of the most delicate martinis I can remember.

“I went to lunch with a friends for lunch, and all the ingredients and food were fresh and delicious. I loved that the staff were kind. Japanese people are making authentic Japanese food in Koreatown, and I hope this hidden spot knowing more people.“

“I got in pretty much as soon as they open, so I got the special opportunity to get to talk to Kristine. After a lovely conversation and delicious food, I left feeling so full and at peace. The tempura was crispy and airy, the rice was perfectly cooked, the fish in the sushi tasted fresh. I cannot recommend visiting here enough. “Got here around 1:30pm on a Sunday and the place was packed. Food was good but did take a while to come out. I had the Torched Salmon, King Yubu, and the Spicy Shrimp and the shrimp was my favorite. Would come by again if I am in the area. There is a little parking lot so it was convenient as well.“

It’s a low key place, not fancy, just great sushi and lovely friendly service. Order whatever the chef wants to make for you and enjoy mouthful after mouthful of delicious sushi. “I found Temaki Society after the iHeart R&B concert because it happened to be nearby, and the concept looked different enough that we decided to stop in. It's located inside The Grayson, so at first it feels like you're walking into a bar, but the temaki counter is right in the front.

The ordering process is easy. You seat yourself, grab your own water, and they bring the food out. One thing I really like is that each hand roll comes with the plastic separator that keeps the seaweed crisp until you're ready to eat it.

The first time I came, we ordered a set of five so we could try a variety. This most recent visit, I came back specifically for the Cut with caviar, uni, and toro. Definitely on the pricey side, but look at the quality they give you. It was delicious.

The staff has always been nice, service is quick, and you toss your wrappers into the little trash bins at your seat. If you want good hand rolls Downtown and something different from the usual Grand Central Market stops, I'm a fan. I'd definitely come back.“
