They clearly didn't put any thought or care into this saladThe Waldorf salad was just terrible. The leaves were so old that they were turning brown, and the apples were actually pears. The ranch dressing was just thrown in the box, and the walnuts had cinnamon on them like a breakfast cereal. The posole was even worse. I couldn't stand the taste, so I just had to throw it out after a few bites. It's like they didn't even care about making it taste good. I used to go to this restaurant every week, but I definitely won't be going back after this experience.

The patio seating was nice and it was fun to eat at Union Station, but overall we had a poor dining experience. To begin with, my daughter and I both ordered draft beers. After 10 minutes the waiter informed us they were out of those beers, so we ordered different ones. After a long delay, the waiter came back to tell us that they were out of those ones too. By that time, I just gave up on the beer. My daughter and husband ordered ahi bowls. When the dishes were served, they just looked like a small salad. Turns out there was something missing- there was no fish. The chef had forgot to include the ahi in the ahi bowls! So there was another very long delay as the ahi was prepared and delivered to our table. I was already done with my meal by the time my daughter and husband got theirs. On the plus side, my tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich was very good. And the waiter felt very bad about all the delays and mishaps, so he discounted our meal.

Years of Service Exellence.........food is also available in the Bar. There is a Customer Bathroom available......Public Bathrooms are not as pleasant...... nor private.

This was the perfect place to have dinner while we were waiting for our train. The location inside Union Station is iconic. The service was very good and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the chicken panini. It was perfectly done, the chicken was tender, and the flavoring was very savory. The side salad with a light dressing was the perfect fresh accompaniment. The prices were surprisingly reasonable for a nice restaurant with most items well below $20. We will be back!

Traxx Restaurant was a favorite hangout when I was working downtown LA, and before I took the Amtrak train home in the evening.I came back and nothing changed - great service, fun bartenders, and great choice of drinks. Had the Steak Sandwich and it was great. If you are at Union Station, stop in.

Rude, but since only tourists eat there, the staff do not

Excellent place to while away the layover time on Amtrak. Locals and traveller's enjoy each other's company. 5 minute walk to Chinatown. Highly recommend. Great staff.

Love this place! Been coming here and introducing my friends to this bar for a couple of years. Only the friendliest people and the staff take care of you like they are the owner. The owner’s name is Chris. He’s lovely and always smiling. Happy hour is great and I always stop in when using Amtrak (the bar and restaurant is in Union Station).Wheelchair accessibility: Def wheelchair friendly
