Constance's review here is so on point. I'm also brazillian and I was expecting something closer to our delicious traditional tasty food. Feijoada and pão de queijo were disappointing. Caipirinha is solid, chicken hearts were ok, coxinhas tasted really good but they are more like croquetes de frango, moqueca was closer to a risotto. I wish the portions were bigger for the price... I still want to go back to try their bar burger
I’m a Brazilian who lives in San Diego, and had been waiting for the opportunity to try this place. I was excited about the atmosphere and drinks, and the whole staff was great. Sadly, I was disappointed in the food — don’t go to this place expecting actual Brazilian food (from a Brazilian). The Caipirinha was decent, the rest of the food was decidedly mid — and definitely not Brazilian. The price is especially high for the portion size, and the flavors are also not interesting...
