Wonderful and kind employees! They are the only VB that answers their phone too it seems! Cookies are always fresh and love their service and seasonal offerings. If i need a dessert or sweet treat this is always a reliable stop and conveniently located in Gelsons!

Usually when I get coffee there, I get good customer service, but today, I faced a very rude woman. Her name is Ilda. First of all, she was already in a bad mood making cappuccinos for me and this elderly female friend I was helping. My friend was trying to close the lid of her coffee but it kept spilling and I motioned her to leave the cashier area to go to the farther counter so she can fix the problem better, but there were no napkins. Ilda did not give us any napkins. Then Ilda got irritated with us and angrily told us we are supposed to leave now. I went to her and said the coffee is spilling and we need napkins but she still kept pointing for us to leave. I told her again (this time firmly) that I needed napkins. She angrily tore open a package and handed the napkins and then said AGAIN, still with her angry face, that we have to leave. Let me tell you something Ilda, if you're having a bad day, don't go to work and don't serve the public! We don't need lousy customer service.

So we got a Tiramisu. Worst ever. The butter cream taste old like sitting on th fridge for weeks. This was a coffee cake and for the cost. Not worth it at all. Very dissapointed

I purchased two cakes on saturday August 29, 2020 for two birthdays.Both cakes were old and one tasted terrible.Very disappointed in the Victor Benes bakery.
This is an excellent bakery. It is located in Gelson's market in Westfield Century City. Gelson's validates parking. Everything here is excellent. I like the sprinkle cookies and the raspberry fingers which are dipped in chocolate and the chocolate fingers which are all chocolate. The princess cake is my family's favorite. It's a green marzipan cake with a white inside. Our second favorite is the chocolate Parisian cake which is a lite chocolate cake. You really can't go wrong though. Also, love the one stop shop aspect of it. You can shop for groceries and pick up your cake all in one place.

Nasty staff who patronizes their customers when they are indecisive or ask too many questions. Not nice from an Old School institution in LA. It's all about the staff and their reluctance to be kind to their customers. Plus, their stuff is stale at the 5 o'clock hour.
