Well I went to “Sun Nong Dan” first, but experienced some terrible behavior from the server seating us. So I left and took a leap of faith and went to the restaurant next door. I was so happy with this decision! The service was amazing. Everyone was kind and attentive. The spicy beef soup was on point too. I will absolutely be coming back!

I just got takeout here, and LOVED the flavor of the soondubu "soft veggie stew" and the Kimchi. The food was enough for two meals, and everything tasted absolutely delicious. Next time I'm in town, I definitely want to come in person.Vegetarian options: I'm not positive how vegetarian this was. One of the banchan had fish, and kimchi almost always is made with shrimp or fish sauce. But as a flexible vegetarian, I was VERY happy with how veggie-forward it was.

Nice korean restaurant, personally I didn't like the pork neck soup that much but everyone I went with enjoyed what they got, so definitely interested in coming back and trying something I might like more.

It's not a place you can go to based on the ratings. I think it was the worst thing in my life. I was very disappointed with the food quality compared to the price. I understood that the sweet and sour pork I ordered was not tasty because it was not a specialty restaurant, but the spicy braised pork ribs that cost almost $60 were mostly made of potatoes, and the ribs that were available were mushy and had the texture of old meat, no matter how many times they had been reheated. I told the person working and he said I should have told him before eating. How can you tell without seeing the taste of the food?? I tried to eat it because it was a waste, but it was so tasteless that I had no choice but to leave it all behind. There wasn't anything good about the taste or service, so it's honestly not worth giving even one star.
I've always wanted to try galbijim, we found this place on google and decided to try it out. We ordered spicy cheesy Maeun Gori Galbijim, while waiting we got a nice assortment of banchan and water. They served us 2 rice bowls and brought out the pot. It looked beautiful! And then they torched the cheese, mesmerized by the pyro and melting. Once the served finished melting the cheese we went right in! It was enough for 3 hungry people. The first bite of the oxtail with the spicy sauce and cheese was incredible. I would commend this hearty meal for anyone that loves meat spicy food and cheese. Korean food is top tier. ♡
I think about the gamjatang probably multiple times a week. If I lived closer & had more money, I'd probably act on those thoughts every time. ?

The food was very low quality. I spent over $100 and did not get much food at all, the seafood pancake had no seafood, but imitation crab. The bulgogi was fatty and soaked in liquid. Bibimbop was very bland vegetables were weak. Even the rice was not fresh. I love Korean food so this was very disappointing. I do not recommend this place and will never return.
