“You get what you pay for: delicious food. I’m originally from the southwest and this place is REAL bbq tasting food!?? Hubby and I ordered the 4 meat combo and had leftovers for the next day.”

“We catered our family holiday party and everything was amazing! Everyone raved about how delicious it was. We ordered enchiladas, tacos, shrimp ceviche, rice and beans, chips and salsa, and a churro cheese cake. All the flour and corn tortillas were freshly made. The side sauces catered to several different palates. Melina was very helpful when ordering and even reached out to see if we enjoyed our meal! We already have a request to bring several items to the next family gathering! The restaurant has an old school mom and pop vibe that I love!”

“It was a fair experience. The food wasn't as good as normal service wasn't as good as normal. They, you couldn't let me use my app. Cause I couldn't figure out how I can use my app for this discount

“I was in town for an event by the Los Banos Reservoir. Afterwards I was starving, for something different for an early dinner. So I stopped in at Hot City BBQ. First off the parking is small to almost being non-existent, inside it is a little better with enough seating for several families.

I ordered the Tri-Tip with sides of beans and potato salad. The tri-tip was really good and they give you a good portion of meat. The beans could use a bit more spice but overall they were good. The potato salad was the big let down, it was flavorless. I added salt and pepper but it didn't really help, so I left them.

I was so full from the tri-tip I took the bread back to my room to devour later. I alos bought a bottle of their BBQ sauce which was really good and helped save the beans.

Overall this was a very good dinner. Yeah, the potato salad was flavorless, but I consider it filler anyways. I hope they work on the recipe.

Parking: Small, tight parking lot.”

“Five stars for the food. For travelers passing by: no bathroom, outdoor seating only. The undercover patio was nice, though. Kids' meal options are limited. The only one they have is kids' bean and cheese burrito. But the food is not spicy, so my kids are OK with the adult dishes.”

“I’ve been eating here for a long time and I’m never disappointed in the quality of their food. By far, the best tasting carnitas I’ve ever had. This place is also the cleanest Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten in! Shame on Chipotle, Pollo Loco, Del Taco, and Taco Bell for not even getting close to being as clean as this place.”

“My go to order is always a famous star I hate changing what I eat at restaurants because I'm afraid of not liking the food, but today I was extra hungry and switched it up and ordered the Diablo burger, no jalapeños and added lettuce and onion, well let's just say that there's no words to describe how satisfied I was with my burger. It was so good, that I think k I have a new favorite burger. The afternoon- late night cook and team members do a very good job.”

Lately we’ve been going every other day in the night. Today, we got there 5 mins before closing & luckily my partner was able to get his craving of an acai bowl! Juan didn’t rush us, he was patience and let us get our goodies and closed as we were done. Great customer service!I highly recommend the DOS PALOS location if you are nearby! These 2 gentlemen were kind and patience.”

“I’ve gone to this place many times since they open very delicious food, steak torta, sopes, tacos, birria tacos, everything was a 10/10 as to what I seen on other pages everyone has said really great and good food! Person above comment about the birria tacos idk what kind of taste he had but they very delicious anybody that goes will rate this place good! Definitely recommend trust me, if someone didn’t like it too bad your loss gains ours I wish I can be there everyday ?”

“This was the second Taco stop in Los Banos this week, but the only one worth writing about. The handmade tortillas are as good as it gets, and the hot red salsa (I believe a chile arbol blend) was perfect. I used it on a chorizo taco, and the lime slice was so juicy it could have come from my own yard. Excellent food, friendly service and I fed me and my girls for under $20 before tip.

Kid-friendliness: The lot is uncovered, but there is a seating section hidden at the front of the truck to eat with the kids if you want.”

“Incredible, magnificent and godly enough to turn water into wine. The only the only three things I can muster up to describe my sandwich. Even though I spoke just a few words to the sandwich artist, I was blown back by the quality and taste of my sandwich that I did for pick up on door dash. I would give each of the workers there $1000 bucks if my wallet could produce such a number. I have nothing but love and high-regards for this subway.”

“We drove from Oregon to visit my home town and visit with family I took my husband and kids here to get fresh pastries and oh man they didn’t disappoint! The pastries were fresh and delicious and they had a huge variety! The staff was friendly and explained what each pastry was. Thank you for filling our tummy’s with delicious pastries. “This buffet is not going to knock your socks off with its selections. But for $16 for dinner and $3 for a free refill soda, it's a steal. The food isn't going to blow your mind, but it's not bad either. Definitely would come back if I was hungry and passing through.”

“We took our grandkids on a Friday to the Mountain Mike's on Pacheco Ave in Los Banos, Ca. It was Friday, Nov 1, 2024. The pizza was great as always but it was the service that really stood out. The gentleman serving us couldn't be kinder and made the experience warm and inviting. This will now be our go-to pizza parlor and will be looking forward to eating there again either for take out or family birthday parties.”

“Made a detour through Los Banos this weekend during a road trip to see if it was still the Rally's I remembered from my childhood - and it absolutely was! The burgers, fries, shakes (strawberry is wicked awesome!) and now chicken bites. We'll probably plan our road trips around this going forward! YUM!!”
