“We are evacuees from the SC Mtn fires. Brew City was offering free meals so we decided to try it. I cannot say thank you enough. We were treated with so much kindness from all of the staff and the owner. Not only is the food and beer selection amazing but the atmosphere and outside restaurant set up is beautiful. We actually laughed and talked as a family. It was the best thing to happen to us in 10 days of evacuation, moving constantly and never knowing if we have a home to go back to. We will continue to come back as regular patrons... and I promise not to cry again. Please support this amazing restaurant. He said he would continue to do it as long as he could. We paid half of our bill for an amazing meal and a healing experience. My only complaint is they do not have merchandise to purchase! I wanted to be able to support them when we are back in our feet. Orange Bowl is even better than Ed's Gourmet, and the people are delightful. I want to try some of their other dishes, but keep ordering the spicy teriyaki because it's so good!“

“I ordered the colossal burger with bacon, jalapeno, mayonnaise, mustard, and all the fixings. It was an old-fashioned, delicious burger. A massive portion of fries came with the meal. If I had to say anything negative, it would be nice if the onion rings were hand-battered on location instead of coming from a bag. That's just a personal thing; freshly hand-battered onion rings are amazing, especially if they're not overly sweet, so I didn't try them here.“

“My wife and I came here for a light meal and were not disappointed. They serve pizza by slice with any toppings you request, which is a great plus (as we were not especially hungry). We just ordered two veggie slices and a soda. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. The pizza was delicious and had a well done crust and arrived within five minutes. “Well you can find the Habit in different towns but the one right there at 2000 S Bascom Ave. is the best one by far. I have one in my hometown and i don’t think they are as great as the one on Bascom. They have great burgers and sandwiches they have fries and they have onion rings and the tempura green beans are great. I love the teriyaki chicken sandwich with grilled onions. And i can’t forget the drinks you have a variety to choose from i choose raspberry tea. This is the go to when i have Doctor appts. at VMC. If your ever in that area give it a try you wont be disappointed.“

“Been coming here since the 70.s I always get the bacon cheese burger with their steak fries. It is cooked the way a burger should when you go out. Staff has always been courteous. No fountain drinks just bottles and cans. Their combo price is reasonable when comparing to similar type places. They used to have hot rods gather on the weekends and that is always fun to see. Overall its been there for decades and decades and has been able to survive many different economies. That.s saying something.“

“We came in right before closing — which we know is probably not the most convenient time — but Mike, the manager, could not have been more kind, professional, and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was top-notch.

We tried the Dubai chocolate shake (a must-try — it’s phenomenal), and Mike even made sure we had spoons so we could fully enjoy it. Despite being close to closing time, he welcomed us with a smile, ensured our order was perfect, and graciously let us stay to finish our meal without ever making us feel rushed.

The service and food quality at this location are truly exceptional. Mike’s hospitality made a lasting impression — we’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend this Shake Shack to anyone looking for a great meal with even better service!“

“Well located within a shopping complex and in the vicinity of other eating joints. Easy access from El Camino and not too far from 85 either. Lots of free parking in the shared lot. Have a few slots dedicated to pickup. Service was ok but overall a pleasant experience. Food quality is standard.“

“We come here weekly for dinner when our kid’s activities end late. There’s a solid crew of workers that are always super accommodating and friendly. They are super patient and kind to the kids (and there are a lot of kids who come through because of GS and RSM in the complex). Sweet potato fries are good, chicken club sandwich is my go-to, burgers are solid, and the soft serve is 👌. Not too creamy and not too icy - I think it’s my favorite fast food soft serve.“
