Pick up was super easy--they had set up tables with lots of space in between orders and room for social distancing. And you should have seen the size of the bottle of hand sanitizer available for anyone to use! Let's support our local businesses and keep Blue Mango going!“

“We recently visited Bai Tong Thai Restaurant in Saratoga and had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The staff were warm, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

We ordered the Panang Curry with Brown Rice, and both were prepared very well. The curry had a rich, creamy texture with a nice balance of sweetness, spice, and authentic Thai flavors. The vegetables were fresh, and the overall dish was satisfying and comforting. The brown rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and paired beautifully with the flavorful curry.

While we genuinely enjoyed the meal, we’ve had slightly better Panang Curry at a few Thai restaurants in Cupertino, where the flavors were a bit more bold and complex. That said, Bai Tong still serves a delicious and authentic version that’s well worth trying, especially if you’re in the Saratoga area.

Overall, the combination of good food, friendly service, and a pleasant ambiance made for a very enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for quality Thai food in Saratoga, Bai Tong is definitely worth a visit. “This is some of the best Thai food I have found in the Bay Area. Their curries in particular have quite a smooth flavor - I would recommend the Panang, the Red, or the Massaman. I find it hard to tear myself away from those, but when I do, I have had an enjoyable time with both the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew. And if one is getting takeout and wants rice to eat later, the Siam Fried Rice is great. Tomato in fried rice is not something I have seen before, but it tastes great in this! Frankly, I'm surprised I rarely have to worry about getting a spot - this place is astonishingly under-utilized for being so amazing. Probably because a lot of folks do not know about them, but they keep my vegetarian partner well fed, and she is a bit of a picky eater besides, so I would like to keep them around and in business! Finally, they are doing an amazing job of staying open and efficient during the Covid-19 crisis, implementing better order/online and cheap delivery options. Thank you so much Thai Erawan for doing a great job, and I hope more people eat there so that you can always be around! (Oh, and the heart-shaped rice-moulds just happened to be very on point the first few times I brought my partner there - so extra points in my book for that!)“

“Had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. We had the papaya salad (tum luang prabang) and it was very flavorful although a bit spicier than I would expect. We had the khao soi which was flavorful. We also had the hang leh curry which was my absolute favorite, it was so rich and deep with a beautiful flavor profile. Our waitress was very kind and got me a milk-based drink when she saw me struggling with the spice in the papaya salad. Portion sizes were medium, although a bit on the smaller side. Ambience was beautiful although a bit noisy from the pub next door. All in all, great experience and I will be returning.“

“This restaurant catered the recent fund raiser for the Cupertino Historical society and the food WAS TO DIE FOR! The best food I’ve ever had at such an event. Standouts were the pineapple rice, the vegetable pastries the chicken satay the pad Thai and cooked chicken on a skewer the desserts were great too - little candied strawberries and tiny slices of an amazing cake. We are staff and we were just swooning over the tastes of everything. I want to take my mom to the restaurant now“
