Petros Winery Winery • $$

“Ricardo is a HUGE asset! He is friendly, and knowledgeable and wants your experience to be the best! We have been there many times and he always remembers us! The atmosphere is perfect...the setting is beautiful! Cons..... Serving food on plastic dinnerware....really? You have nice stainless utensils and cloth napkins, plastic dishes are a negative! We were disappointed in the salads....mine was a Caeser with chicken and my partner had the Chopped shrimp salad. They were so, so....dressing was not a Caeser....tasted like Italian with a load of parmesan to make it taste Caeser like. The lemon vinaigrette on my partners' salad was very bland. We love coming there and have had reasonably good sandwiches, but the salads were a disappointment for sure! We will be back to try!“

Andrew Murray Vineyards Los Olivos Tasting Room Winery • $$

“My recent visit to E11even under Andrew Murrary Winery in Los Olivos, CA, left me utterly enchanted. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the warmest welcome from Alisa, whose genuine hospitality set the tone for a remarkable tasting experience.Initially intending to sample their Cabernet, my plans swiftly evolved as Alisa guided me through an array of tastings, each one more delightful than the last. The moment I savored their Petite Sirah, I knew I had discovered something truly special. Its robust flavor profile was a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication evident in every sip.The ambiance of the winery added to the overall charm of the visit. Their quaint boutique exuded elegance, showcasing their exquisite wines with finesse. And the patio at the back provided a serene escape, offering the perfect spot to enjoy a glass amidst the beauty of the surroundings.E11even Winery has undoubtedly won my heart, and I am already counting down the days until my return. Whether you're a seasoned wine aficionado or simply seeking an unforgettable experience, this hidden gem in Los Olivos is not to be missed. My only regret? Not discovering it sooner.“

Carhartt Family Wines Wine Bar • $$
2939 Grand Ave, Los Olivos

“Carhartt Family Wines is about what they put in the name: "Family" and very good "Wines" that are a labor of love. I went up to the cabin a couple years back from a recommendation and absolutely loved it. I was not currently at a place to do a wine club membership, but Troy was great the entire time with fantastic hospitality and service. I have been following CFW over the years and feel like they are doing some very special things to try and revamp the industry to make wine attractive to younger crowds while maintaining traditional varietal wines that are awesome. The ambiance of the cabin is great for socialization, they usually have good food establishments right outside, and everyone just seems to enjoy working there. I would click the button on a membership if they had a beautiful vineyard for me to escape to each tasting to enjoy an escape from LA, but that could possibly be too good to be true. Great place, a must visit.“

Kaena Wine Co Winery • $$

“Went here on a Monday afternoon, Robert was working. The wines were great, Robert was very knowledgeable about the wines and we had great conversation about wine and food. After a couple days of wine tasting we honestly did not come in with the intent to buy any wine but just do a tasting. We had purchased lots of wine already that weekend. However the wine was good and Robert so personable we wanted to leave with a couple bottles, and we did. We will definitely be back the next time we head up to Los Olivos!“

Demetria Estate & Vineyards Wineries • $$
6701 Foxen Canyon Rd, Los Olivos

“This was our first time going wine tasting in Los Olivos, and Demetria Estate came highly recommended. It is absolutely beautiful here, and the perfect place for a relaxing wine tasting! You get to sit outside, and you have a magnificent view of the estate grounds. Delicious wine, fresh air, and lovely surroundings - what could be better? They also allow you to bring in outside food, so you can bring in your own snacks or meal to enjoy while drinking your wine. It was super busy when we were there, and they only had one person working. Definitely could've used more staff, but he made it work and was still super friendly while doing it. The wine here was excellent. Really enjoyed the Syrah. Definitely recommend making reservations, especially if you have a larger party. The last 2 miles to the winery is essentially a one-car road that goes both ways, so just make sure you drive carefully. A great choice for a highly-enjoyable wine tasting.“

Zaca Mesa Winery Winery •
6905 Foxen Canyon Rd, Los Olivos

“My girlfriend and I recently enjoyed one of our best wine-tasting experiences at Zaca Mesa Winery. We were celebrating our 3-year anniversary and wanted to experience the best wineries in the Santa Barbara County area. The customer service at Zaca Mesa was top notch, the ambience was warm and relaxing, and the wine was amazing. While all of the wines we tasted were delicious (in particular their Syrahs, which is what put them on the map) , our favorite was their 2019 Repose – a great blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot (we liked it so much, we took a nice bottle to continue celebrating back home!).Having gone to Napa and Temecula numerous times, I can say that our experience at Zaca Mesa was one of our favorites. Not surprisingly, Zaca has been one of the best wineries in the Santa Barbara County for decades (it’s celebrating its 50th anniversary this year!). It’s easy to see why. We’ll definitely be returning soon to experience more of their tasty Rhône-style wines and amazing ambience.“
