I've been to his Momofuku restaurant in NYC and loved it so I naturally had to try Majordomo.You have to plan ahead to reserve the short rib special and it is amazing. They cut it tableside and serve it lettuce, kitchen, and radishes. Such a good balance of flavors but the prime rib by itself is very flavorful and smoky.The Bing is also a must with the cultured butter and honey. This is seriously addictive. We also had the mussels with the crispy rice which was also delicious.Overall, the vibe of the restaurants was great and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.“

With literally only a small portion of salad, it's just 4 tortilla chips with tiny tasty greens. I almost fainted when I paid $28 for 8 pieces of chips with greens on top. “I decided to try this place out since a friend recommended it while I was in Little Tokyo. I honestly didn’t have any expectations for an udon place because I’ve had udon at the Marugame Udon chain and expected something similar. Let me tell you that this place elevates their udon to the next level. The mentai udon was easily one of my favorite meals during my trip to LA. The sauce was creamy, savory, and sweet with the perfect balance. The umami from the mentai and shrimp complements the sauce so well. It wasn’t too rich and was just right. I slurped up all of the sauce it was that good. Highly recommend and would come back. Service was also very attentive and kind.“

“First off the portions are hefty and the presentation makes the entrees really appealing. Then comes the best part, you actually get to eat it. We've had Laotian food before as there are excellent ones in the SFV, but hands down this has to be the best by far. So far we've tried grilled beef plate w/ a side of papaya salad paired w/ chicken and sausage ala carte (instead of the plate) and they were all in scrumptious. The saucesParking: It is located in a multi use apartment above/commercial businesses below. So the parking is actually where the tenants also park which leaves plenty of spaces for the restaurant and it's free. No ticket and validation required.“

“Tried this new place out. We had the all you can eat lunch special. There were definitely some pros/cons.The pros were: excellent food (especially the butter chicken), great naan! Price was reasonable at $19 per person. Easy to park with no extra cost. Dessert was good but they only had a fruit salad NO sweet rice or NO gulab jamun (which I normally looooove to eat at other Indian restaurants). Good service, the waiter was kind.The cons: the atmosphere could have been more upbeat, it was very quiet (no music playing), they ran out of the dish we loved so we had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes before they brought more out and the rice was limited; I think we could have asked for more but we ended up just using what they gave us.“

“I work at a plastic surgery clinic where we often have lunch together as a group. With almost 30 people, it can be difficult to decide on a menu each time. However, we recently tried ordering food for all 30 of us from here and we were all pleasantly surprised by how perfect everything was. Personally, I absolutely loved the Yuja chicken and the addition of Korean Kimchi on the side was just perfect. The fries were incredibly crunchy and fresh as well.Another dish that stood out was the pesto with fried tofu our doctors were really into it! “I was excited to dine here and it did not disappoint! First off, cocktails were amazing. We had the escargot and ceviche to start and they were nothing short of fantastic. For the mains, we had the crispy pasta and lamb shank kaldereta. Pasta was perfectly al dente and the lamb fell right off the bone. They gave everyone complimentary strawberry sorbet and that was heavenly! We also got the red velvet mamon. Our server was really nice, friendly, and lively. Only thing was we ordered bottled still water which was right on our table but one of the servers kept refilling our glasses with tap water lol it’s no big deal though. “Called in an order today based on recommendations on Yelp! The person taking my order was very quick and helpful. He said it would be ready in 15/20 minutes. Located on Del Amo/Bellflower it was easy to find. Large lot but very busy as there are a few food stores there. There was a small line ordering when we arrived. Two of the six tables available were taken. I noticed on the menu board Wednesdays are $1 a wing day. We were served by a very friendly associate who grabbed our order promptly. My order consisted of 6 Garlic Parm Wings 6 Sweet and Spicy Wings. Garlic Noodles with Tri Tip and a Ninja Quesadilla The food was great, very tasty and spicy where it needed to be. The food is very fresh and there are so many choices you will never get bored. The sauce selections are very tasty I love all of the proteins. “Today was our 10 month olds first time in a restaurant! And we wanted it to be a place we both really enjoy. So we drove around palos Verdes and Torrance (10 month old fell asleep as we pulled up to Kings Hawaiian) after driving for over 2 hours. We were luckily seated immediately and got to enjoy some Hawaiian rolls as we waited for our order. We got the combo meat plate and a kalua pork plate and some spam musubi. Our son tried everything and loved the kalua pork and Hawaiian rolls. The service was quick and the food was great. We also got to walk around the bakery letting him see all the colorful desserts. As we left we picked up a cheesecake and some donuts for the road.There were some interesting souvenirs, and there's always good food and desserts, and also you might as well pick up some rolls, bread, danishes, tarts for the way home. I'm always excited to be in the area around breakfast or lunch. This was our first time driving an hour or more specifically for this restaurant.One complaint but it might be our baby's issue, the high chair seemed like it was for a slightly larger child, the harness couldn't reach around him because he couldn't sit far enough back. The salmon burrito was way bigger than I thought and can probably feed two people. The salmon tasted fresh and it was overall solid entree.The sesame chicken was crispy and delicious. I tried it with the tempura sauce and it took it to the next level. The soft shell crab was also delicious and flavorful. Their signature roll was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The portions and platings were very good and we were able to try many dishes. With that said I think the food was just okay. The Mid : Maybe it's because I am Chinese so I've tasted better Chinese food before so that's why I wasn't super impressed. I will say tho I really liked the fried rice because they added the Chinese sausage to it which makes the taste really authentic keke. There definitely is better and Chinese food in the LA area because they definitely are a western twist. but I do think the ambiance makes up for the lack of an oomph factor in the flavors and I also wish they cut back on the oil a little.“
