“Not gonna lie... this Vietnamese cafe serving up pho as well as some other small and special dishes came up on my radar because I saw some fellow Yelpers go to an event here. The food looked/ sounded amazing and it's not too far from where I'm working at the moment. The service here is friendly and the decor /vibe feels and looks like a modern Vietnamese restaurant or cafe. I was really tempted to order the pho here, but opted for the butterfly pea sticky rice (or Xoi Thap Cam) instead. From the pictures, the dish looked beautiful and it's something I haven't had at Vietnamese restaurants in a long time. Also, I think I've had pho a few times around that time...(it's been cold) I also ordered the Bluegrass Lemonade to wash it down. The sticky rice dish had lots of delicious flavors and textures from all the different items. Such a fun dish that's presented very well and a delicious alternative to what probably gets ordered most here (the pho). Don't get me wrong, I definitely want to come back to try their pho as well, but was so happy to try the dish that I ordered. Place is located in a tiny lot/strip mall that was pretty close to a freeway. They have their own parking, but it might get tight. I think there may be street parking close by.“

“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. “If you are looking for excellent Vietnamese food you can find it at Benley. My wife and I have been here a few times. We came here with another couple a week or two ago. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The other couple does not eat Gluten because one of them has Chron's disease. The very friendly waitress at Benley was able to provide safely handled, gluten-free, and reportedly great tasting food to both of them, while not limiting the options of those of us who do eat gluten. I highly recommend this restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Gluten allergy safe, just let them know you need special considerations right when they seat you. Even better, call ahead to let them know.“

I ordered the steak and brisket pho, I have to start by saying this was the BEST brisket I’ve had in a pho. It was not fatty at all, and super tender but not dry!If you follow me on here, you know the type of pho I like. This one was clean and packed a little flavor. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had, but the brisket was unmatched. The noodles were fresh and intact too. — On the downside, I ordered the salt & pepper shrimp, but I didn’t like it. I ate one, and they still charged me for it. Not the best customer service I’d prefer, and they asked me about it. So I just thought they’d take care of me. “This was the last place my husband and I visited while in LA. Because of the location I was scared the food was going to be trash or that the restaurant would be so nasty that I wouldn’t want to eat there. However, this place was a pleasant surprise! Yes, it was a little rundown and outside there was a lot of garbage and old furniture but inside was clean although it was older, it was still very clean. The food was absolutely delicious! This is one of those those places that I wish that we had in my hotel. It’s a little mom and pop hole in the wall spot but their food packs of mighty punch and the service does too! The fries were made to perfection and the fish sauce spray they added (in cute Chanel perfume dupes!) added an extra layer of fun.We tried their top 2 drinks - Flying Dragon (in honor ofLNY) and the Mid-Autumn Dream which was supposed to be a temporary drink that landed full residency on the menu. I also got a Thai tea that was very refreshing and not too sweet, and a vietnamese coffee with coconut milk that was very rich in coffee flavor and sweet. My father ordered the level 7 ramen stir fried and said it was very good, not very spicy. We shared a level 7 and a level 10 BBQ wing. The 7 was barely spicy but very good, 10 had an oil on it that coats your mouth and was quite spicy, but the heat went away within 15mins. All the food was delicious!“

The chicken was a little chewy and did not soften after sitting in the broth for a while. The freshness of the chicken is questionable. As a frequent pho enthusiast, I was disappointed that this restaurant did not offer spring rolls, which is my go-to appetizer when judging a pho restaurant. This time I opted for the fried egg rolls and I was not impressed with the texture or flavor. Everything in the egg roll tasted old and lacked a desirable flavor.The pho broth container and the chicken &noodles container were both of good quality, as there were no spills in the bag, and kept everything warm during delivery. However, the pho ingredients and the egg rolls were delivered in Styrofoam packaging which is environmentally irresponsible. As seen in the pictures, the container with the egg rolls was either cut or melted in an unusual way. I suspect the restaurant cut the box to allow for venting and to prevent melting. Getting rid of the Styrofoam containers would yield a higher service rating.Overall, not too bad. I'd visit this restaurant again if I'm in the area.“

I get both every time I buy the Longanisa bread for everyone.It's been a while since I've tried anything new, but they have tons of goodies. I would recommend anything and everything. “So you have to keep in mind that there are no other pho restaurants in the Lynwood area- that being said the pho broth is actually pretty solid even if compared to most of the spots where Vietnamese restaurants are densely populated like Garden Grove etc but if you realize that this is the only one for miles then the solitary factor becomes magnified. They have many other options which the menu bifurcates into other Asian cuisine options which didn’t seem all too bad either. Don’t get it twisted though- it seems pho is their bread and butter.“
