“Cute little wonderful smelling bakery... I went to pick up some wish items.. By far the nicest pick up place yet. . The ladies "Mom n daughter, I assume" both greeted me with beautiful attitudes n smiles.... U could not help but buy a few pastries... It smelled like soooo much goodness I wish I had brought my purse.... I prefer to drive a bit further and get great service with a smile. Salgado's Bakery way better then cybercafe....“

“The Pan Dulce here is ok. It depends which one you get. As far a Conchitas, they are good. The mini ones are 3 for a $1 now. Their Bolillo is good as well. I've never tried their cakes before. They also sell Tortas with just lettuce, ham, and cheese. Customer service is ok. There's this one lady that looks like she's always in a bad mood. Other than her the rest of their staff is welcoming.“

“This is the place I'll drive on the freeway during a rainstorm for some good pan dulce. Located in plaza Mexico shopping center, surrounded by various other bakeries and shops for Mexican delights... but this little bakery is the winner. My mom and I are very picky when it comes to our pan dulce. It's been a staple in our home growing up and now in my home it is still there on my dining table to share with my friends. Vivian's bakery has the soft, flavorful, delicious sweet bread with the best recipes. I can taste the difference in the bread here compared to any other bakery. It's just better! Trust me. The customer service is really great as well! I've been here on my good days as well as my bad days, and the owner has been gracious with me. Even once, I was short on cash and asked her to take out a piece and she smiled at me and said to bring what I owe for next time. Such a sweet lady! I can rave about the bread all day, but I've also got to mention a special item here. They serve atole, which is hard for me to explain what it is. It's not like coffee, it's thick but not like oatmeal. There's several flavors but the best one I've had here is also a rare flavor, I've never seen this offered anywhere else and it's... GUAYABA (guava). The guayaba atole is SO DELICIOUS. I can't even begin to explain what it tastes like! It's just GOOD and sweet, so if you don't like sweet I wouldn't recommend. But also, while in line I ALWAYS overhear people say they're getting the Nuez (walnut) atole. So that's really popular too. I wasn't a fan, though. Anyway, please give this place your business if you want to try some GOOD pan dulce and maybe some of their other treats. You won't be disappointed!“

“The staff here are incredibly helpful and quite friendly, as well. What a wonderful treat it was to experience this! As sad as it sounds, I feel that it's all too rare a thing to encounter these days. Now, about the offerings at T.M.s ... Two words: Blended Horchata! You just gotta try it, Period. I was also very impressed with their tres leches muffins - both chocolate and strawberry varieties.Well, what are you waiting for? GO! You'll be so glad you did.“

Superior Grocers Bakery • $$

“I mean, I'll go in and grab a few things if it's what I have near at the time of need. This hasn't been my grocery store for over a decade. They used to be very competitive with prices, now they just make $ and really don't try to beat the competition, or better their products. Too many people just are used to certain places and never explore other options, which is good for places like Superior. Yes, I'll stop by in the future, but I'm either chasing a great deal or they are the only better option I have depending on what I need and where I'm at.“

“"Sippin from your cup 'til it runneth over..." I heard JT performed at the Wiltern last night for free so I had his music on repeat in my head all day today during work. So of course I had to stop by here as soon as I saw the store name. I did NOT expect to find the best donuts I've ever had in my life. Period. I walked in and was greeted warmly and decided to just order the Original Sin and their version of classic milk. They were so nice and gave me another donut for free which was the Obrama. Everything was so scrumptious. I loved that the donuts weren't too big. The quality of the donut is so good that it only needs to be a smaller size to have the same effect as something larger. The outer texture and the crispness reminded me of the blueberry m&m donuts that they sell in OC where people line up for hours to buy. The donuts here taste better because the inside texture is a lot lighter and isn't as dense so you don't feel disgustingly full afterwards with regrets. I cannot wait to come back and get some for my family and friends. I wanted to test it out myself first prior to sharing with others. Yum! Also their classic milk was soooooo good and complimented the donuts so perfectly.“

“AMAZING Expect waiting outside, party of 2 was 20-25 min Saturday afternoon and cannot call in to be added to it. Everything on the menu is great but the French toast, pork belly fried rice, and strawberry tea were the best. Limited seating and one restroom but highly recommend.“
