“Lots of fun, beautiful cars, good music. Everything was set up really good for their first show. They had some trouble with showing the movie but it wasn't a problem. More food trucks what happened nice, but they explained what happened that. It went pretty good for the first time, I'd like to go again. If you're going in a classic car go early so you can get a good spot to see the movie.”

“I recently had a 50th anniversary party in the Banquet Room, and I was very happy with how it all turned out. I reserved my date several months in advance and from several states away, never having been to the restaurant before. But the information online combined with other guest reviews really helped. The restaurant was very responsive to my inquiries and messages. Everything was clear and well communicated regarding the requirements for reserving the Banquet Room. The room itself is cozy with beautiful vaulted ceilings and tasteful art on the walls. It can accommodate 40 seated for dinner, which is close quarters but not uncomfortable. We were all close family and friends, so we didn't mind being close. The restaurant provided table linens and all plates, glasses, and silverware. They allowed us to come in a couple hours early to do some additional decorating, which we really appreciated! We chose the family-style Italian dinner, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, and they were ready with more plates of food if we were even close to finishing one up. The bar drinks were very well made and good quality. The staff was attentive and accommodating and ready to help with anything. They were friendly and patient with our group. I really can't praise them enough. They even allowed us to play our own dinner music and some dancing music, provided we didn't disrupt the other guests, which we really appreciated! Over all, I would highly recommend The Vineyard for your next event. (The outdoor group event space looks lovely as well, though probably better suited for cooler weather months!)”

“Marisco’s Las Islitas is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants in Madera. The staff is very friendly, that’s for sure. The establishment is so clean and very inviting. I’ve brought my family and friends and my staff in to dine. The food never fails. It’s always fresh. I usually get the Molcajetes, Piña Mixto, Ceviche de Camarón , Oysters and Fried Ice Cream. Oh, How I can’t forget the Alfredo pasta with Shrimp and Mussels. The fried fish is to die for. Can you tell me a salsa that you’ve had that you wish you could replicate???? Let me tell you ,Islitas has this green salsa that is so good with this amazing heat behind it. The sauces they serve are all stellar. You also get complimentary Chips and Salsa. The drinks they serve are outta this world. They have beer and wine based drinks. My favorite drink is cantaritos ( However you spell it) Bomb!!! It’s like a Paloma but better. The owner is a good person. She thrives to keep her business enjoyable for all who comes in. No one in Madera can beat this place. Hats off to the owner. I’ll be a forever customer and I’ll always recommend this place. 5 star ⭐️”

“Plethora of options for a quick pit stop, great if you have kids, some veg options — it’s a regular buffet so no vegan meat substitutes and stuff like that. For kids lots of fruits, cookies, desserts, even ice cream! Staff is very friendly and nice! $21.99 per adult and $12.99-14.99 per kid depending on age. I didn’t eat here because I was full but people from our group didn’t complain and kids were happy, I just wanted to point that they have decent vegetarian/vegan options if you need to eat.

“Ranchos Liberty Cafe offers catering and they are amazing! Jefferson and his staff were very accommodating. They handled every detail so all I had to do was tell them how many servings I needed. It was a delicious buffet style meal with tri tip, chicken breasts, rice pilaf, vegetables, salad and bread. Very generous servings and all my guests enjoyed it very much. I would highly recommend them for any event.”

“The waitress knew my tias style of noodles. Very patient, always smiling, everything is hot when it comes out. Does take a little long to get your food but it is so worth it. The portions are enough to feed two. I always have some to take home. Everything has a great crisp taste. Nice crunch on various appetizers, and their pot sticker sauce has a good kick. Love it! Definitely been my favorite place since I was a kid. 25 years later... still delicious.”

“Kanojo has been consistently good every time I’ve gone. The food always tastes fresh, and the bulgogi bowls are honestly my favorite, packed with flavor and always satisfying. I also like that it’s usually pretty quiet and not overly busy, which makes it a nice spot to just sit down and enjoy your food without a bunch of chaos. Definitely one of my go-to spots.”

It is so stinking good! I'm full before it's finished and I have to force myself to stop eating because it's so good! My husband always finishes his but he's absolutely stuffed afterwards. The veggies are cooked on the grill first and the pico is fresh and bright. It's not cheap but oh so worth every penny.”

“First time here. Lets get into it. Total cost 27$. I called in my order for pickup and it was a 15 min wait. They will want to know your name and phone number just a heads up. Its expensive but get a decent amount of food for the price. I got the bento box with teriyaki chicken, rice, salad, spring roll, vegetable tempura, and a cucumber matcha drink. The chicken is tender, sauced up, and has a some sesame seeds on top. The salad is light and refreshing with tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, and im guessing purple cabbage. It also has a light sweet dressing on top. Vegetable tempura has sweet potato, onion, squash, and broccoli. The spring roll is all veggie and super good. The box to go comes with a dipping sauce for the tempura and another sauce in the middle of the bento box. I think its a sweet n sour sauce. I eat alot of asian food but this place didnt wow me. Yeah I enjoy the food and would eat again but this just tastes like every other place that sells the same stuff. It didnt wow me its generic. Since I enjoy japanese food its a solid 5/5. The cucumber matcha was good. Gave me exactly what I wanted. Cucumber juice and matcha, low sugar and a decent size. Limited space inside. Seats 1-4 comfortably. Alot of parking. The server seemed like she was having a rough day a little sassy but w/e we all have bad days right no harm no foul. Like I said i wasn't impressed it tasted very generic like why go here when I can go to another Japanese place for the same taste. Maybe I missed out. Im giving this place another chance to try other items to see if I can get that wow factor.”

“Pho review time. Total cost 24$ pho, tea and a tip. Came in and this place wants you to order when you come in. I ordered the 12 steak and tendon with extra tendon. They even put the extra tendon in a bowl on the side which I added in so the hot soup heats it up. Its a one size bowl. I also got a matcha latte. The pho broth id say is more of a Lao style. Its flavorful with beef and spice notes. The noodles are fresh. I liked the amount of basil, bean sprouts, jalepenos, and lemon. The chile oil is tasty its about a 6 as a Mexican spice scale. Overall id rate this pho a 4/5. It was good but not my favorite. My matcha latte is delicious I requested less sweet and its still pretty sweet. Just a heads up. Still the latte gets a 5/5. They have a good variety of drinks with Boba too if you're into that. I was able to get my table right away. I ordered used the bathroom. Came out and my soup was ready. The waitresses were coo. It started to get busy they didn't check in on me but I ate very fast. Overall food 4.5/5. Parking is limited but I parked on the side of the building on the street. Waitresses did enough I have no complaints they were nice. I'd be down to try some more options here.”

It was truly special to visit and see why he loved it so much. We traveled quite a distance from out of state to be here, and it was a lovely way to walk through those memories with my mom.
