Must-try items? The Medici coffee is unique around here and so worth it (recommend asking it to be slightly less sweet), and the breakfast potatoes are an absolute dream. Love, love, love this gem of a cafe!”

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. “Visited Mercado for the first time yesterday after working in this neighborhood for the last five years and I’m amazed as to why I didn’t find this little job sooner. I went there with three coworkers for dinner at 5 o’clock. It was a little early, but the restaurant was about 25% full already. It’s a great ambience both indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. They have a happy hour menu. We chose their Carnitas nachos which although small it is packed with Carnitas and full of flavor for main dish I chose their Carnitas big plate which was amazing and it came separately with tortillas. My coworkers picked tacos from their happy hour menu one picked their fish tacos, which he gave a five star rating and two of my coworkers picked their shrimp tacos, which they also gave five star rating and they said it was very flavorful for dessert. We had the churros that came with condensed milk and chocolate syrup, and it was well presented and really delicious And the server also served us complementary Agua Fresca and the flavor of the day was cantaloupe, which was really really delicious will be there again and our server was very pleasant and fast.

Parking is super easy at the El Segundo location. I highly recommend Offset to anyone near LAX or in the El Segundo area. “I got a coffee to take away from Pure Bean. I ordered the Lavender Honey Latte with oat milk and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was so friendly and answered my questions to help me choose the perfect drink. There were a lot of people inside the coffee shop and it would be a great place to bring my laptop and work from. It's quite bright inside with a lot of natural light and plants. Highly recommend checking out Pure Bean if you're in the area.

“They have the best sushi in Southern California. Spicy with crispy rice the crab ham roll the creamy popcorn shrimp with spicy tuna and BBQ short ribs, I haven’t tried everything, but I have tried is amazing.. I recommend this place to everyone if you like sushi you’ll love this place.

Parking: They have metered parking in a parking structure, as well as on the street. There’s at least two parking structures in the area. I have never had a problem finding parking.”

“Manhattan Beach. YOU SHOULD GET 3 SCOOPS BUT 2 IS OK. 1 scoop was $6.25 and 2 was $6.75. 3 was $7 something. If you like toppings, the banana split is the way to go for $10.25. There were some seats outside, but this place was more like a take out place. Walk the beach and go to the promenade. The museum wasn't interesting.

“Wow! I can’t believe I did not try this location sooner. As soon as you walk in the vibe is amazing, but that’s not the best part. The aroma of everything being cooked is so appealing.

I had the miso soup combo with a California roll. The noodle, the pork, the egg and the broth was delicious. You have to try it for yourself!

The price was perfect and I had it to go (in all honesty I should have dined in, next time). I will come back to try more of the delicious food.

Kid-friendliness: I know my kids would love to come and eat here.

“I visited The Hummus Factory in Manhattan Beach yesterday, craving some Lebanese food, and wow, I was blown away! The hummus is top-notch—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, and the chicken was so juicy and flavorful. I also tried the gyro, and everything was just amazing. The pita was warm and soft, the salad fresh and crisp, and the lamb was perfectly marinated—it literally melted in my mouth.

My wife went for the Greek salad, and she couldn’t stop talking about how refreshing and light it was. If you're in the area and in the mood for some delicious Mediterranean food, this spot is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Manhattan Beach.”

“Part of a chain, the Manhattan Beach Silverlake Ramen serves up a solid meal of Ramen (also saves me from driving to Sawtelle Blvd to eat). The Ramen is well prepared, properly spiced/flavored, and served at a proper temperature. This is the go to dish when you come here. I get the Blaze with pork because I want the extra spice level and it warms me up in the winter.
The rice bowl and the appetizers are all tasty and well prepared with good sized portions.
Service is good and they will attend to your needs but the wait staff is in between a lot of tables so it can get slightly spotty during service rushes. They will drop water carafes on the table so you do not need to ask for refills. There is a Silverlake Rewards app that is great to use to get free items if you consistently dine here, so I suggest downloading it. The points update quickly after you pay for a meal.
The environment is inside but the end of the restaurant is open to the outside of the Manhattan Village outside mall area. There are plenty of heat lamps if you are near the outside so you will stay warm. The bathrooms are clean and well serviced.
Definitely will return to dine here.”
