We used to live in Manteca and had La Estrella many times... I was looking forward to their tasty food once again, only to be disappointed. The price has gone up 75%, the amount of food has gone down 25%, and the quality has gone down 50%. Overall, not a good experience. At least I won't crave their enchiladas any more!
Saturday, there were a lot of people coming in and as we sat to eat people were right there standing next to you. The shrimp cocktail was good but the Carne tacos didn't taste good.Wheelchair accessibility: My dad is in the wheelchair so the table was just the right height for him to eat.

I like the food here. It's fresh and all their plates are very authentic. Here is my issue with this chain. During the pandemic they raised their prices. Not just by $1 here or there no by several $$. One order of Pezole is $17 that's a bowl of soup c'mon seriously that's ridiculous. I'm tired of these companies hiding behind the "Pandemic" caused it. No business like you and Fast food chains took an opportunity and it only hurts the consumer. L take my business elsewhere. Adios
