“Back in college this was my favorite place to get a sandwich. The avocado and cheese on a brio roll would easily make two meals for me. I always stop in for one when I happen to make it back to Humboldt. When I’m not in Humboldt I sadly just dream about having a good sandwich since I’ve yet to find one anywhere in Colorado Springs. It might be time for another trip there soon.“
“Drive thru only asian submarine sandwich and boba drink stand. Pillars of the community with giveaways to thank customers from time to time. You have to be ready with your order at time of pull-up as they have a short runway from the street to their window. They will rush you for a reason, safety, so just keep in mind it is not personal. Their fully loaded subs are perfect lunch fair. Boba drinks include teas and smoothies. And the rice bowls are great too. Just remember, they are closed Sunday.“
“For a month a was on a subway kick and went every SINGLE day and went to all of them and this was by far the most consistent. The other ones in mckinleyville, eureka and valley west didn't have bread... roast beef, turkey, no veggies. The one in mckinleyville had a full list that said no roast beef, no meatballs, no wheat bread, no salmai ect... this was the ONLY one that consistently had everything. The other ones are always missing something or the oven doesn't work or some irritating issue“
“This place has its ups and downs. They are often out of a lot of items and sometimes closed at wired unexplainable times. However the customer service is great as the people always greet you upon arrival even when it is very very busy. For this trip I got a melt, however the original one I wanted they were not able to make, so I went for another melt. They were really accommodating and wanted to make me a happy customer. I ended up going to eat my sandwich and it was really tasty. The cheese was really thick and went perfectly with my meat choice. The bread was not soggy and the veggies were still very fresh when I got home. The quality of this sandwich was definitely a 5 out of 5.“
