The food is very good. The service was top notch when they first opened. It has slipped some since then especially in the last hour of dinner service. The wait staff has changed and everyone is rushing to go home which is understandable but sacrificing service. Food still comes out fast, good and hot. If you arrive in the last hour though, bring your own forks (if you're a fork user) when they switch over to disposable utensils. It's semi embarrassing to see your customers try to eat a beefy rib or pho using a tiny flimsy plastic fork. You know the one I'm talking about, the white ones that bend but don't fork and don't break. They just bend. Come on, at least give your customer a fork they can use. However the food is still good and you get plenty of it. Bring your own fork.

Placed my order ahead of time but when I arrived the lady at register (who I had placed order with on phone) said "oh the order wasn't taken". No customer service, just said it would take about 15 minutes. Poor service. Won't order from again.

This restaurant was a big disappointment. We went in with good expectations but everything went wrong from start to finish.1) the waitress suggested to have us seated next to the bathrooms even though there were 3 other tables still empty.2) the tables were not cleaned properly. The condiments at the table were in dirty containers.3) they were out of several items. For a place called Mr Pho, they were out of their signature item.4) the biggest reason, OUR FOOD TOOK 45 MIN TO COME! No one gave any updates! When we asked them, they claimed the noodles, basic garlic noodles, were the ones the taking that long to cook.5) anytime we asked for something, they would forget. It had to be asked twice. Need a to-go box, one server says he’s going to bring it then forgets it and you see him walking around.6) the food quality was 2-3 stars at best. The garlic noodles were bland. The spring rolls were served cold!Safe to say we will NOT be going back to this restaurant.

So, it’s very obvious this place used to be a Subway. They’ve been here for over a year and still can’t remodel it? At least paint the walls and redo the counter. I don’t know. Whatever.My problem is with the pho and the service. I’ll just spit out the details that stood out. Dirty spoons. 2 of them at least. The last one I didn’t look at because I wanted to start eating.No limes. Had to ask and was given lemons.Had to ask for napkins.Dirty tables stood too long. I get it, it was busy, but still.The broth had a strange taste to it. Kind of tasted like what an Asian market smells like, and I’m guessing it’s some old meat.And it had a bit too much cinnamon, probably to mask the taste.Almost broke my tooth on a piece of bone.Yeah, this place is trying to be fancy, but they should dial down the fanciness and focus on quality.And paint the walls! It feels weird eating pho at subway.

The employee hang it off suddenly without saying anything. I tried to call again to order, but nobody picked that up. I've been here 3x. It's pretty good. The pho is 5/10 for me. I like the hungry man plate. The first time I went they must have gave me too much meat because every time since I've got less and less. The steak is so flavorful! Really good. The egg rolls are excellent too. I like this place and it's my go to in Merced. I've tried them all.
