Quite the stand alone location for its kind. Met up with a couple people here who really enjoy the food here eating it two days in a row. It’s a small establishment and it’s an old building so I didn’t expect much for aesthetics. The menu comes as a single slab of particle board which I thought was neat. I ordered the “angel” wings, fresh milk pork skewers, and steak salad. I never understand places that serve appetizers and entrees at the same time. The “angel” wings aren’t the angel wings I’m familiar with (stuffed chicken wings). They were just fried chicken wings drizzled with a sweet chili sauce. It was OK. The fresh milk pork “appetizer” came out as a full on entree on a big platter served with rice, cucumber slices, and dipping sauce. More sweetened meat is all I have to say. The dipping sauce was also sweet. The steak salad was decent but the chili lime dressing was also… you guessed it! Sweet!!! This is why I stay away from Thai restaurants. My party seemed to enjoy their orders. One ordered and recommended the steak salad. The other ordered beef laap with sticky rice. The server was polite. Complimentary water comes with a hint of lemon in taste which I found refreshing. This place IS decent if you enjoy Thai food catered towards westerner palate. It’s just not for me. Thai food in general. I would like to try their curries but I’m guessing it’s going to be too sweet for my taste buds as well. One of my mates said this place is the only Thai restaurant that doesn’t shutdown midday for a few hours. Little does he know Bangkok Thai in downtown also does not anymore. I have my biases when it comes to Thai food. Definitely give this place a try. My party seemed to really enjoy it.

Good food with the exception of the spring rolls. Would recommend takeout unless you want to dine in with a bunch of screaming kids and disgusting patrons. I don't know how the kitchen passes a health department inspection. But hey, good

ONE OF THE BEST PHO places in Merced. Their pho has so much flavoring that I didn't need to add any extra condiments. Also, their chile oil pepper is AMAZING! Top tier!

You can taste the love and pride the owners put into their dishes! Flavors are on point. Always fresh. Had the appetizer platter and Pho. Everything was fantastic and delicious! Service was friendly and prompt. Ambiance is cozy, like eating at grandmas house. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Great service and great food. Love the presentation of the food. Would recommend. Had the Thai Boat, and it was very delicious. This time, I got spring rolls, which were very good and spicy beef salad level 8/10 spicy in which I almost regret. But the dish was very delicious and flavorful. Will be doing the spice level at 5/10 next visit.

Hubby and I stopped here on our way back from Yosemite. Wasn't sure what to expect because there weren't a ton of reviews yet. Got the crispy tofu, spring rolls, pho, and Khao Mun Kai.Wow everything was so delicious and affordable. The spring rolls were FULL and fresh with flavorful sauce. The tofu was just the right crispness without being oily. Again, sauce on point. The Khao Mun Kai was exactly the comforting. Asian dish I had been looking for after our hike. Well-steamed chicken with... once again a very flavorful sauce. The rice was also amazing. The ginger gave it just the perfect pop and it seemed like there was some ?chicken broth infused that made it rich. Anyhow, "small hole in the wall" as some have described but in the best way possible. Waitress was very kind. Wasn't able to exchange too many words because of language barriers? but she was attentive. I hope we were able to express how much we enjoyed the "home cooking" style food :) Yummy as advertised.

Waitress got our order wrong and food was slow coming to the table. Quality of taste has gone down. I asked for the beef salad to be spicy and it was very sweet and waitress missed an item we ordered.

My husband and I went in for Dine-In on October 6 (Friday) as our first time. It was pretty busy during lunch however the waitress Cari shown on the receipt answered all our questions, she was extremely polite and helpful, she gave great recommendations and explained what the items were. Food was delicious. I understand it is a bit expensive BUT very authentic. We will be back! Thank you Yummy Thai!

This is our third time coming here and ordering take out. Food has a good taste but the servings are very small for the price. Each plate is $13 you would expect more.
