“Simply amazing food and incredibly awesome staff ❤️👍 My addiction to ho here and eat ❤️❤️❤️ I just wish there was a Dish Dash in South San Francisco or close by 😕🙏”
“Mala Town is a fantastic spot! The food is consistently delicious, offering an authentic and flavorful experience. Coupled with truly good service, it makes for a wonderful dining experience every time”
“Requested Jojo and again he provided excellent service. He put me in the Christmas spirit on a day I didn’t feel so Jolly but his warmth and charisma’s reminded me of the Christmas spirit on top of serving up a warm meal on a rather chilly and lonely Christmas Eve. Thank you Jojo and Outback Mangment and teams for the wonderful evening. Would highly recommended requesting Jojo”
“A neighborhood favorite in Milpitas! The fish quality is amazing, not far off from what I’ve experienced at high end sushi restaurants. At $14-$18 per roll, you’re looking at some incredible value. No, it’s not authentic Japanese sushi, but I still think it’s delicious. Always coming back for their Mizuno and Dragon rolls!”
“I absolutely love this Yunnan restaurant!
It’s a total gem, especially for someone like me who loves bold and flavorful dishes. I saw they had some new items on the menu recently, so of course I had to come try them right away!
The food was just as amazing as always — full of aroma, depth, and that unique Yunnan spice kick. The Guizhou Stinky Shrimp Sour Stir-Fried Beef was incredibly flavorful — tangy, spicy, and packed with umami. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you reaching for another bite even when your mouth is on fire
And the Dai-Style Beef Offal Bone Broth Mushroom Hotpot was pure comfort in a pot. The broth was rich and milky, full of mushroom and beef flavor, and the combination of textures from the offal, beef, and wild mushrooms was just perfect.
Every visit here reminds me why this place is one of my absolute favorites. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Yunnan and Guizhou flavors — intense, aromatic, and unforgettable!”

“After a tiring vacation, this was exactly what we were looking for – a meal that feels homely yet festive, relaxing and soul-satisfying in every sense. Royal Thaali in Milpitas delivered just that, and then some! The bright and cheerful space was bustling with families and groups, all diving into their unlimited thalis with visible delight, and we were about to join that happy brigade.
What makes their thali special is how every element fits together like little pieces of a puzzle, each complementing the other so beautifully, or should I say, so tastefully. The meal began with a nicely churned and spiced buttermilk that arrived promptly, setting the tone for what was to come. As the server started filling all the little utensils on our plate, our appetite built up steadily, almost like watching a performance unfold before the main act.
The kala chana masala was a pleasant surprise – usually this dish comes devoid of any gravy, but here it had this thin, soup-like consistency that was lightly spiced and tasted incredibly refreshing. It paired beautifully with the accompanying kadhi, creating a harmony that was comforting and familiar. The dry paneer curry had that rustic, dhaba-like quality with minced tomatoes and onions that took me straight back to roadside eateries on highway trips.
But the show-stealer, hands down, was the aloo curry made with karela. Now, karela isn't everyone's favorite, me thinks, but the way they've incorporated it here offered a unique and pleasant bitter taste that elevated the entire dish. It was bold yet balanced, and honestly, I couldn't stop going back for more. The cabbage curry was as homely as it could be, the kind your grandmother would make on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
What really impressed me was the service – the ghee-laced phulkas and masala pooris kept coming to our table piping hot, even without us asking for them. The staff was attentive and the refills came just at the right time, making the entire experience nothing short of impeccable. There's something to be said about a restaurant where the service flows so seamlessly that you barely notice it happening.
And then came the desserts, which were truly the icing on the cake. The kheer arrived perfectly chilled, laced generously with kesar, and tasted phenomenal. Each spoonful was creamy, fragrant, and just the right amount of sweet. But what blew me away was the malai kalakand – easily the freshest I've had anywhere in the Bay Area. It was soft, milky, and had that melt-in-your-mouth quality that only comes from using the finest ingredients and making it fresh.
All in all, Royal Thaali is something you absolutely should not miss if you're in Milpitas and around.”
“The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. For the quality of food though, it’s worth it.”
“Really glad we found this place! The slow-roasted lamb shank was amazing — super tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The lamb noodles tasted homemade by my grandma lol.
The restaurant is new and has a great vibe — clean, bright, and welcoming. Definitely one of the best new spots in town for Xinjiang (Uyghur) food. We’ll be coming back for sure!”

“As far as coconut desserts spots go this is pretty solid.
Had their seasonal persimmon flavor pudding and mango pudding, both were quite good although it was a bit less firm then others.
Pricing wise they are indeed a bit high but is all similar shops like this so still would recommend.”
“The Takoyaki was one of the best I’ve had in the Bay Area (closest to the ones at Taiwan’s night market imo). It was fresh, delicious, exactly what I craved for 🥰 The curly fries are amazing as well! Freshly made and great quality :) and of course my fav drink - Black Milk Tea with Taro & Boba is always spot on~”
“The pho here was delicious bone broth was very flavorful, with a generous amount of meat, and noodles. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, even made my kiddo a special pho plate free of charge. Highly recommend people to try this place out. We will be returning again when we're around the area.”

“Always Been Our Go-To For Any Occassion. Everything Is Great But Their Oyster Shot Is The Best”
Outdoor Dining
“I have lived in Milpitas for 3 1/2 years now, and only recently 'discovered' this hidden gem right at the end of the street I live on!!! Their menu is varied enough to have a great selection, but not so much that it's overwhelming. The minute you enter their diner, you're greeted with a warm Good Morning or Good Afternoon! The staff is very attentive and friendly; we felt like members of the family from our first visit! The food is priced fairly, which is hard to say about almost any other restaurant I've been in lately, and, it is delicious! There you have it...Welcoming, friendly staff, great menu selection, delicious food, priced fairly. A recipe for success, obviously since they've been there for over 20 years! Try it, you will not be disappointed!”
“Since opening, it has gone down hill a little as one would expect as the owner/manager isn’t on site. The amount of meat has lessened, price overall is quite high (-$19) for a sandwich and a can soda. I justified the higher price for what initially offered but has creeped up for less product. At least they’ll serve you a pickle if you request it. I guess it’s one one way to economize by not automatically giving a pickle. However at their 1st location I was put-off by having to fish for a pickle that is handled by customers and that not hygienic.
I’ve found myself not going as much but went there this week to feeling a little bummed that things haven’t improved.”
“I was born and raised in Oaxaca City and decided to give this place a try. I will happily say that they absolutely exceeded my expectations in terms of their flavors, service, and atmosphere.
This food truck is located within the parking lot of a local gas station at E Calaveras Blvd & S Park Victoria Dr. There was enough parking at the time I drove in. The guy who took my order greeted me in Spanish with a smile and acted very genuinely and cordially.
I ordered 2 lengua tacos. The portions were appropriate, and the meat was perfectly cooked and tasted both juicy and very, very, authentic. The onions and cilantro had been freshly diced and made me smile when I squeezed lime juice on both tacos. They gave me two small containers with their red and green salsas. Yes, their salsas immediately activated long-stored memories in my taste buds. I can say that it flew me back to Oaxaca. My whole mouth watered at the first bite, so to extend the feast in my mouth and soul, I made 4 tacos with the double tortillas.
I will be coming back with friends and family and I think you should too.”
“I stop by after work yesterday to get the tiramisu cake for my mother-in-law. Each of us had a slice of it after the homemade hot pot dinner. We were all quite amazed about the texture and the taste. Beyond our expectation! I have to say personally I like it better than 85 °C’s version (or other competitors bakery) especially with the $31.99 price. The guy helped with my pick up was nice, I was in and out for 5 minutes. He gave me 3 packs of different color candles although we didn’t ended up using those. Their paper plates quality are not that good, very thin made. I would suggest just ask for utensils for your cake order. Might go with a different flavor next time for my husband and my daughter’s birthdays in September. :)”
“There are quite a few repetitive hot pot ingredients, it would be nice to have more variety. The overall flavor is fine. However, the extra meat slices I ordered weren’t very impressive, they were just boiled and completely unseasoned. It seems they’re meant to be eaten with the hot pot but it would be better if they were served together with the hot pot instead.”
“I love this restaurant before, because I love to eat anything!”
“One of the best mutton biryani's i have had in the bay area. Almost all their biryani's are great, especially the meat. On weekends they have a thali special which is definitely worth it with the variety of options they give. Except for possibly desert, everything we have had here over the past 1 year has been great.”

“Man this place was GOOD. I get Indian food a lot and this place is some of the best for South Indian. They were VERY helpful in finding me vegan options when I was turned away from the thali place across the street that said every dish has dairy. I’m so grateful to have found something, and I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area!”
“Known for their menu family-style plates to share, Daeho brings quality Korean food to the Bay Area. Make sure to enjoy the food while it’s hot because as it cools it becomes more thick and heavier to eat.
Doh Gal Jjim / braised short rib + ox tendon (~$110 for large with add ons of mozzarella cheese, potato noodles, and rice cakes): shared this between 3 people and was not able to finish it. The presentation was amazing – the staff bring it in a hot stone bowl and blow-torch the cheese in front of you. The meat is extremely tender and juicy due to it being braised. We got the highest spice level and it was perfect – it made an impact but not overbearing to the point where it ruined the meal. The potatoes and caramelized onions were great complements to the beef. The ox cartilage was extremely gooey but I wish they added more.
Spicy Kalbitang ($24 for regular size): flavorful and refreshing soup that would taste amazing on a cold day. Broth was light and great salt levels – never fell flat on flavor.
Kalbi Ttoek-bokki ($13): basically the same sauce and seasoning as the Kalbijjik dishes but a smaller portion to share if you want to try other menu items.
Had to make a Yelp reservation in advanced, and upon arrival to confirm the reservation, had to wait for about 20 minutes. The restaurant is small in size but relies on a quick turnover rate and quick service to host many guests. The staff even pack up the food for you with their own sealed containers. I would go here maybe once or twice a year to celebrate with family or friends but the wait time deters me from coming back more frequently.”
“Tried the Green Peas Sushi and Pumpkin Sushi. Pumpkin sushi was really good. Would never feel guilty after eating Sushi.
Definitely recommended ✅
Updated on 11.11.2025
Added new photos after having tried the Mango Sushi, and Cucumber Avocado Sushi. It was really good. Staff was kind and helpful.”
“What a great surprise! We didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the food, but not needed. Great place, fantastic service. We really enjoyed ordering through the in-store QR code. Everything we tried was delicious, nicely served. The customer service was great beginning to end. We will come back for sure!”
“The self-service barbecue was a great experience with fresh ingredients and a fun atmosphere. The food was delicious and easy to prepare. Special thanks to the servers **Rico** and **Doony**—they were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made the whole experience even better.”

“i dont love fast food. sometimes late night, this is all that's available. theres a hispanic manager here, great energy, slimmer build with tattoos on his arm. great service, friendly and outgoing. ive never had any issues with my orders here. one time the shake machine was down for the week and i was denied twice while i waited for management to get it fixed.”
“I find that all the price from different McDonald are different. This store has the cheapest price that they offered around the area compare to all other McDonald. No kiosk to order so you either order from your phone or in line. Wait can be long since there are always a lot of people.”
“This place is the original and far better than the one in San Jose, while the interior is a bit outdated, The food is always consistently good in our go-to spot for seven course beef.”
“Price is $15.99/lb with the many options for the broth. Malatang has gotten very popular recently and feels similar to hot pot. You get a decent amount of food if you only eat 1 lb of food.
The space in the restaurant is on the smaller side, but the wait time is short. You grab a bowl and go down the line while picking up the ingredients you want into your bowl. At the end, the cashier weighs the bowl to determine how much to pay.
Wait time for them to cook the food and bring it out to you is very quick, which helps bring down the wait time. I enjoyed the beef broth but spice level was high for me personally at the mild level.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Fantastic little poke spot in Milpitas. Friendliest owners I've ever met, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. You start by picking your base: sushi rice, brown rice, or greens, then add your proteins with variety such was spicy salmon, tuna, shrimp, tilapia, tuna salad, tofu, etc. You can choose a spice level, and additional toppings such as edamame, corn, seaweed salad (so good), macaroni salad, crab, etc. I love to add spicy mayo and yuzu ponzo, plus eel sauce. Do not pass this place up!”
“The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. “Extremely friendly staff, very quick service, and decent prices. The food is always fresh, and there are many options. They also give you a scoop of crab and avocado in the toppings section without charging you extra, like most places, only if you want a second scoop (and only $1.50ea if you do). There are many drink options, or you can have free water with fresh fruit in it every day, plus dessert! The atmosphere can be noisy if it's during busy hours, but is otherwise very mellow; and is fantastic for take out too!”
“I like the drinks and snacks at Ume, so I stop by from time to time. Orders are placed through the kiosk, and while waiting, you can see the staff at work. Elaine always makes sure that both the drinks and snacks are prepared neatly and with care. Her friendliness and attention to quality make this a pleasant place to visit.”
“Hansang Tofu – The Hidden Gem of Milpitas 💎🇰🇷
This place is almost hidden in plain sight, tucked right behind the McDonald’s everyone in Milpitas knows. It’s one of those true “if you know, you know” spots that locals swear by.
My girlfriend and I have been coming here for a while now, and the reason we keep coming back is simple: quality. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care.
What We Ordered 🍽️
Special Combo #35 – Galbi & Seafood Tofu Soup (Medium Spicy)
The portions are on the smaller side, but honestly, they’re perfect for two people, just enough to leave you satisfied without feeling stuffed.
The Galbi is beautifully marinated and grilled to perfection with that irresistible sweet and savory balance and a hint of char.
The Seafood Tofu Soup is our favorite, clean, rich, and full of depth. It’s easily one of the best versions around.
Pairing these two together is a flavor explosion, comforting, savory, and perfectly balanced. Add in a scoop of rice and some kimchi, and it’s game over. 🔥
Mandu 🥟
Freshly fried to golden crispiness with a juicy pork filling inside. The vinegar-based dipping sauce cuts through the richness perfectly, it’s tangy, addictive, and keeps you reaching for more.
The Banchan (Side Dishes) 🥢
Hansang nails their banchan every single time. From the kimchi to the seasoned sprouts, everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. You know a Korean restaurant is good when even the side dishes shine.
If you’re looking for an authentic Korean spot that hasn’t blown up yet, this is it. Come now (or better yet, yesterday) before everyone else finds out. Huge thanks to the Hansang staff for always taking care of us and keeping the quality top-notch. 🙌🇰🇷”

“My friend Bobby Yang brought me here to this Amazing place. The food was delicious, savory and tasty. The service was quick attentive, prompt even when it was busy. We had a couple different choices of skewers and above all, the star of the show was the bbq fish. If you're looking for authentic Chinese flavors, I recommend this place.”
“Just traveled from Canada today, my friends couldn’t stop talking about this place. I finally got to try this and it was amazing. It was insane, I can vouch and say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. Nothing in Canada is even close to this. 10/10 recommended. Please do try their Chilli Paneer and Aloo Chaat. Insane. Best food and an even better service.”
“I recently encountered an issue with Chick-fil-A and wanted to share my experience. I tried to reach out through their website by entering the store number and transaction sequence number, but unfortunately, it didn’t accept my information. Feeling a bit frustrated, I decided to call Chick-fil-A, and the team took down my complaint, assuring me they would get back to me.
As the weekend went by, I almost forgot about the issue; while it wasn’t the end of the world, I felt it was important to bring it to their attention for the sake of improvement. Then, I received a call from Evelyn. I could sense her warmth and genuine desire to make things right. She truly listened to my concerns and resolved the issue with care. I’m very grateful to her for that. Thank you, Evelyn!”
“Went on May 10th Dia de Madres. The location was super busy, but we were seated right away. The service was awesome!!! Even tho it was busy, they had several people helping and checking on the tables. I made a special order. The Bacon Avocado Eggs Benedict but with country gravy instead of holendaise sauce!!! I despise holendaise sauce...lol Great Service!!!”
“Ordered the Tonkotsu soup ramen with thick noodles and less salt for myself and the black garlic soup ramen with thick noodles and less salt for hubby. The black garlic ramen was most flavourful. Both soup was rich and thick and the fried black garlic was fragrant. The pork slices were thick and soft. Have to say the ramen was tasty and satisfying, authentic to Japan. Have a try for yourself”
“Excellent experience! The food was great and the price was very reasonable. There was a variety of snacks to choose from and they were all very delicious. The price was cheaper than HDL hotpot.”

Cheap Eats
“Great place to sit back and relax while enjoying a cup of delicious frozen yogurt. The place is clean and the employees are nice and friendly. Love the strawberry and cheesecake flavors. Great selection of toppings. If you haven’t tried it yet I recommend giving it a try.”
“The Filipino deserts app has mold. Brought these to a party and thank God it was discovered by my guests at the party. Called to get a refund and below me off as a joke. Mind you my wife and I live one hour away and demanded that we bring back the product that was purchased back to them to inspect. I have been purchasing deserts from them for over 35 years and spend a lot of money. So sad and no accountability and glad no one got sick. I will be letting the San Bernardino health dept know of this crooked establishment not following State and court health codes.”
“😕Not their best showing. Waitress served me chili with onions and did not give me option to say no. She tried to over-charge me for the corn muffin that comes with the chili. Then pretty much told me I had to pay now as she was going on break, even though I was still finishing my tea. When I asked if the onions were standard or optional, the waitress said they were standard, the manager said they are by request. But how can I know they'll add onions if no one tells me. I literally had to point to the menu to show that it does not say cheese and onions can be added.”
“I loved their drinks! Its a bit sweet but its soooooo good. You can see the tapioca being made and your drink is made in front of you. The bunny in my drink was very cute, I almost felt bad eating it. They do have sparse seating so if it gets busy I could see not being able to sit anywhere, but there at least is decent amount of parking in front”
“I really enjoyed the variety of foods that were served and the presentation. Wonderful spice flavors as well as mild to spicy foods. I really enjoyed the biryani dish. Loved the traditional serving dishes like clay pots and drinking cups. The restaurant decor is well done too. Very traditional restaurant all around.”
“The Onam Sadhya was awesome ! My daughter who’s not much into spice loved it ! Thank you ! Yet to try the pothi chorre !”
“Best Momos! Can't wait to try more specialties!”

“If you like fresh tasty Asian food in an ultra clean, bright and cheery environment, you've found your new home at TK Noodle Milpitas. They reopened after being shut down by the covid lockdowns in a smaller newer building and it's better than ever. They have ame great food in a more cheerful clean bright friendly environment. I love pasta and noodles and their wide noodles are the best anywhere in the world, EVER!”
“Excellent food, taste is so authentic. Freshly made. Customer service is very friendly and accommodative. We had Chicken 65, Medu Vada, Dosa Varieties, Biriyani, parathas, Chilli chicken, uthappam, Poori etc. Highly recommend this restaurant, for kids and Adults. I would definitely visit often. Pricing very nominal.”

“Came with a party of 10 at 7pm and were lucky enough to get the last 2 Peking ducks! Unfortunately, they were sold out of the other bbq items, but I definitely want to come back to try the pork belly! The skin of the Peking duck was crispy, and it was a hit! The sauerkraut fish wasn’t spicy imo. The Sichuan chicken was spicy and numbing though, which I enjoyed! We also ordered the pea sprouts and bean sprouts, which were both delicious! They were pretty busy at dinner time but were very efficient.”
“TK Noodle in Milpitas is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic, comforting, and flavorful Vietnamese cuisine. Every visit here feels like a treat, and their dishes never disappoint. The broth in their noodle soups is incredibly rich and aromatic, clearly crafted with care and packed with bold flavors that make each bite irresistible.
The menu offers a great variety, but the classics like their beef noodle soup or pork and shrimp rice noodles are absolute must-tries. The noodles are perfectly cooked with just the right texture, and the fresh herbs and garnishes elevate the dish to perfection. Portion sizes are generous, and everything is served piping hot and beautifully presented.
The service is always quick and efficient, even during the busiest hours. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends and family.
TK Noodle is hands down one of the best places for Vietnamese comfort food in Milpitas. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Vietnamese cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more of their amazing dishes!”
“I'm surprised this place was not busy at all when we came for birthday lunch on Saturday. We did make reservation through Yelp but should've been OK even without one because only ~20% was occupied. The waiter took our order right away and food came super quick. We ordered all of their special rolls by accident but thankfully each rolls were perfect size with not too much rice so we manage to finish them but few rolls definitely feel redundant so will pay closer attention next time. They now up the sashimi allowance to 1 order of 5 pieces per person (only 1 kind of fish per order tho). I recommend getting the sashimi salad, salmon carpaccio, pepper tuna, pepper albacore for your fix of salmon, tuna, hamachi/albacore and get other fish type for your sashimi allowance. I highly recommend getting hamachi kama, Saba, tonkatsu and soft shell crabs. The takoyaki was too much dough. Was very disappointed they didn't have the mochi ice cream but their lychee ice cream (more like sorbet) is very good. Love it much more than matcha ice cream. Sesame balls are also freshly made with perfect bite size. I couldn't find anything about birthday treat but was surprised they gave free cheesecake and even play happy birthday song throughout the whole restaurants. They were also not rushing us when 90min was over. Highly recommend this place to satisfy your sushi craving!”
“This place came as a recommendation from a friend. Tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The matcha drinks are exceptionally smooth and made with high quality matcha. The quality of drinks is top notch. heytea uses real mango and coconut pulp in their drinks. The kale boost tastes light and refreshing.
All drinks are a must try and addictive. I can’t wait for the store to sell their Tiramisu drinks in the evening.
The menu is limited and has a wait time of 20-40 mins. Recommend ordering through the app.
Overall great tea place in the area.”
