“Great portions, spacious seating, great vibes! Much appreciated for our group of 15, we were well taken care of, and the appetizers were surprisingly very high-quality!”
“What a nice surprise to find such high quality Indian food at the Great Mall! My husband and I shared a combo (chicken curry boneless) with garlic naan, and an order of samosa. Chicken curry and garlic naan was delicious!! No wait to be seated nor to be served. Go try this before the word gets out and it gets packed! We loved it.”
“Great location and delicious Indian cuisine. Ambience is excellent. Menu covers wide variety of south and North Indian dishes”
“Simply amazing food and incredibly awesome staff ❤️👍 My addiction to ho here and eat ❤️❤️❤️ I just wish there was a Dish Dash in South San Francisco or close by 😕🙏”
“I got the normal broth, medium spicy, and it was very flavorful, not too spicy. Only thing is the beef shrinks a lot in size after it’s cooked so keep that in mind when filling your bowl. It’s a bit pricy, I paid about $30 for my bowl, however it was a large portion”

“Jun Bistro was one of the most memorable meals I had in Milpitas, especially if you’re a fan of mushrooms. The restaurant’s Yunnan-inspired menu really shines through its creative use of different mushroom varieties, and several of the dishes we ordered showcased just how flavorful and versatile they can be.
The highlight of the meal was easily the Truffle and Mushroom Rice. Rich, earthy, and deeply aromatic, it was the kind of dish that kept drawing us back for another bite even when the table was already full of great food. The Herbal Beef Offal and Mushroom Stew was another standout, with a comforting broth that carried layers of herbal flavor while allowing the mushrooms to shine.
The Yunnan Signature Fried Tofu was crisp on the outside and soft inside, while the stinky tofu delivered the bold, fermented flavor that fans of the dish look for. We also enjoyed the Stir-Fry Beef Loin, which was tender and well-seasoned.
Beyond the food, the restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy a meal with friends and family. Jun Bistro manages to feel both creative and comforting at the same time. If you’re looking for something beyond the usual Chinese restaurant experience, especially if you love mushrooms, this place is absolutely worth a visit.”
“Had a great experience! The food was delicious, the steak was perfectly cooked, and the service was excellent.
A special thanks to T, for being so friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. She made our visit even more enjoyable.
We’ll definitely be back!”

“Ume Tea is hands down one of my favorite spots! The drinks are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The menu has a great variety, so there’s always something new to try, and everything I’ve had so far has been amazing.
The staff are super friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy, and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to, whether you’re craving a classic milk tea or something more unique.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for top-tier boba and great service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I recently tried Sugar Mama, and it did not disappoint at all 🍦 The ice cream was incredibly delicious—super creamy, rich, and full of flavor in every bite. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. The service was also great, super friendly and welcoming which made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Milpitas, I’ll be coming back for sure!”
“I have lived in Milpitas for 3 1/2 years now, and only recently 'discovered' this hidden gem right at the end of the street I live on!!! Their menu is varied enough to have a great selection, but not so much that it's overwhelming. The minute you enter their diner, you're greeted with a warm Good Morning or Good Afternoon! The staff is very attentive and friendly; we felt like members of the family from our first visit! The food is priced fairly, which is hard to say about almost any other restaurant I've been in lately, and, it is delicious! There you have it...Welcoming, friendly staff, great menu selection, delicious food, priced fairly. A recipe for success, obviously since they've been there for over 20 years! Try it, you will not be disappointed!”
“I have been going to this place with my grandparents for years, it is our go to sushi place. It has gone through a lot of changes after the pandemic hit, but the quality of the food has never changed. Love it, amazing overall. My only wish would be that they expand so it does not feel as cramped when dining in, but their take out system is extremely effective.”

“I usually never post reviews. This is the MOST delicious sandwich I’ve ever eaten! Very few places I eat at nowadays have me thinking about the food a week later and I have very high standards when it comes to food. A bit pricy but they definitely do not go stingy on the meat and for the quality I would say it’s justified. Get the Reuben pastrami sandwich you won’t regret it. People working are also super nice! Hope this business stays open.”
“I recently discovered Chup Chaap and I’m so impressed! This place serves authentic Punjabi dhaba-style cuisine that actually tastes like it came straight from Delhi. Every dish I’ve tried has been exceptional and packed with real flavor.
The Tandoori Chaap is perfectly marinated with an amazing smoky char, the Malai Chaap is incredibly tender, and the Amritsari Naan with Chole has the most generous, satisfying portions. The Tandoori Paneer Tikka is also outstanding—the spice level is perfect and you can taste how much care goes into the preparation.
What I love most is that this isn’t Americanized Indian food. The flavors are bold and authentic, the food is always fresh, and the portions are generous. Plus, the prices are super reasonable for the quality you’re getting.
The service is fast and friendly, and they’re open until midnight every day, which is perfect for late-night cravings. Whether you order delivery, pick up, or eat in, they treat you well.
I’m definitely coming back—already planning my next order! If you want real, authentic North Indian food in the Bay Area, you need to try Chup Chaap. Highly recommend!”
“I rarely give 5/5 but this place definitely earned it! The chole bhature was super delicious combined with gur chai. With excellent service and great dining atmosphere”
“The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. For the quality of food though, it’s worth it.”

“The food here was so good and service was really nice! So happy to have halal Uyghur cuisine in the area. I had the hand pulled cumin noodles and they were delicious! We also had the samsa which was great. Would definitely come back!”
“Lo, within these humble walls doth dwell a feast most splendid. The fragrant vapors of ginger and garlic did summon me as a siren’s song upon the wind. Each dumpling was a velvet treasure, each noodle wrought with heavenly craft. The goodly attendants served with grace and merry spirit, whilst the tea flowed as though from paradise itself. Verily, had Caesar tasted such sweet-and-sour delight, he would ne’er have crossed the Rubicon. Five stars, and a pox upon any soul who passeth this place by.”
“We picked up food but sat at the restaurant for a bit waiting for our food - which came out super fast. It’s nice and spacious and the service is great! They were even playing the World Cup game if you’d like a place to enjoy it. Ordered the stone bibimbap which had the beautifully done veggies and meat with this delicious crispy rice. The side dishes were fresh and spiced to perfection. My daughter wanted to try the mandu which she loved! Definitely returning and soon! Five stars all the way!”

“This place is so conveniently located. The staff was pleasant and quick. My food was hot and drink was delicious. The tacos were so dried out and stale. I hope that isn't normal. 4 Stars since the food was really good outside of the tacos. The tacos did not taste bad and they were even well prepared but the tortillas were stale and hard to chew. I was there very late at night so I would not hold this too harshly against them...”
“I find that all the price from different McDonald are different. This store has the cheapest price that they offered around the area compare to all other McDonald. No kiosk to order so you either order from your phone or in line. Wait can be long since there are always a lot of people.”

“Fantastic little poke spot in Milpitas. Friendliest owners I've ever met, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. You start by picking your base: sushi rice, brown rice, or greens, then add your proteins with variety such was spicy salmon, tuna, shrimp, tilapia, tuna salad, tofu, etc. You can choose a spice level, and additional toppings such as edamame, corn, seaweed salad (so good), macaroni salad, crab, etc. I love to add spicy mayo and yuzu ponzo, plus eel sauce. Do not pass this place up!”

“I stopped by Ume Tea and tried one of their fruit milk drinks, it’s the mango cloud and it was absolutely delicious! The drink was refreshing, creamy, and packed with real fruit pieces. The presentation was beautiful, and every layer blended perfectly together.
The shop itself is clean, cute, and welcoming, with a fun atmosphere that makes it a great place to grab a treat while shopping. It’s located in the Great Mall, so all the better. The staff was friendly, and my drink was made quickly despite how busy it was.
If you enjoy unique boba and fruit tea creations, Ume Tea is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more flavors!
Highly recommend! 🧋💕🍑”

“Great place to sit back and relax while enjoying a cup of delicious frozen yogurt. The place is clean and the employees are nice and friendly. Love the strawberry and cheesecake flavors. Great selection of toppings. If you haven’t tried it yet I recommend giving it a try.”

“Great place for malatang style eating where you select your own food and portion. I love eating the vegetables there so I choose all the veggies I love to eat only. They also have a number of meat that are pretty good for your soup as well. It feels like you go shopping and they cook for you.
Once select your food and select your soup type that you want, they will cook it for you and bring it to your table. Medium spicy can be a bit spicy for some people so choose wisely.
Depends on how much you get but it could range from $15-22/person. I normally get about 1 pound of food which costs around $20. There is not much service since it’s pretty much self service.
The place is fairly clean and decent. Could be cleaner but not bad considering the traffic.”
“We tried International kitchen for lunch. This is similar to Thai food. The food is pretty authentic and tastes decent. They have a special going on at this moment with buy one and get one free entree.
The crowd size is decent around lunch time. You ordered from the kiosk and service is quite fast. Overall, this is a good place for family meals and take out. They have outside seating and pretty much a self service restaurant, cleaning up after you ate.
Overall is a very nice place to try if you are in the Milpitas area.”
“More interesting and better at night than boba.
Lots of mango jellies, yogurts, etc for $8. Something sure to please everyone with some options sweeter than others. Fairly quick and consisent. Never a long line but always busy.
Good spot after eating at a resturant in the plaza.”
“Dakao sandwiches has been around for over 30 years maybe 40. Decor is probably original. Anyway banh mi sandwiches are generally good. Expect to pay 7 dollars for a standard banh mi. They use a 10 inch narrow baguette. Filling is ok but uneven. Buy 2 and it's still less than what you would pay for a sandwich from a deli or sandwich shop.”
“Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite fast-food chains because the food usually feels fresh, clean, and consistently tasty. This Milpitas location is just another solid Chick-fil-A experience.
My go-to order is usually the spicy chicken sandwich with waffle fries, though I also enjoy their Southwest salad. I especially like how efficiently they manage crowds and the drive-thru system, something they’ve done really well since the pandemic.
Overall, a reliable spot if you’re craving quick and tasty fast food.”
“Hansang Tofu – The Hidden Gem of Milpitas 💎🇰🇷
This place is almost hidden in plain sight, tucked right behind the McDonald’s everyone in Milpitas knows. It’s one of those true “if you know, you know” spots that locals swear by.
My girlfriend and I have been coming here for a while now, and the reason we keep coming back is simple: quality. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care.
What We Ordered 🍽️
Special Combo #35 – Galbi & Seafood Tofu Soup (Medium Spicy)
The portions are on the smaller side, but honestly, they’re perfect for two people, just enough to leave you satisfied without feeling stuffed.
The Galbi is beautifully marinated and grilled to perfection with that irresistible sweet and savory balance and a hint of char.
The Seafood Tofu Soup is our favorite, clean, rich, and full of depth. It’s easily one of the best versions around.
Pairing these two together is a flavor explosion, comforting, savory, and perfectly balanced. Add in a scoop of rice and some kimchi, and it’s game over. 🔥
Mandu 🥟
Freshly fried to golden crispiness with a juicy pork filling inside. The vinegar-based dipping sauce cuts through the richness perfectly, it’s tangy, addictive, and keeps you reaching for more.
The Banchan (Side Dishes) 🥢
Hansang nails their banchan every single time. From the kimchi to the seasoned sprouts, everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. You know a Korean restaurant is good when even the side dishes shine.
If you’re looking for an authentic Korean spot that hasn’t blown up yet, this is it. Come now (or better yet, yesterday) before everyone else finds out. Huge thanks to the Hansang staff for always taking care of us and keeping the quality top-notch. 🙌🇰🇷”

Cheap Eats
“Fantastic, really tasty Filipino baking goods. I ate some after leaving the store and came back for more! Really recommend it. The sweets were particularly great.
It's really a place to get the baking goods and go as opposed to eating there.
Pricing was very reasonable.”
“I love the broth!!!! I can tell that you must have braised the broth forever since the broth was so good. I was busy each time my husband wanted to take me so I asked him to buy to go. OMG a I opened the door coming home to smell Pho all over my home. It felt as if I was at the restaurant. The aroma was pho-Ing good!!! The meat was pho-tastic.and I love the huge volume of onions and fresh tasking ginger in every bite. If you love pho or if you love noodles or if you love food, then you must visit this Pho Thin Ha Noi - pho-ing good.”
“The Filipino deserts app has mold. Brought these to a party and thank God it was discovered by my guests at the party. Called to get a refund and below me off as a joke. Mind you my wife and I live one hour away and demanded that we bring back the product that was purchased back to them to inspect. I have been purchasing deserts from them for over 35 years and spend a lot of money. So sad and no accountability and glad no one got sick. I will be letting the San Bernardino health dept know of this crooked establishment not following State and court health codes.”
“The Signature Brown Sugar Boba Milk tasted just like the one I had in Ximen, Taipei! The boba was perfectly cooked, not too hard, not too soft, just the right chewy consistency. I've been missing this drink ever since I came back from Taiwan, and now I can enjoy it without traveling 7,000 miles.”
“What you expect from the Tasty Pot chain. Exactly like the other locations. This one had a better dining area. Lots of room. Service was prompt and accommodating.”

“If you like fresh tasty Asian food in an ultra clean, bright and cheery environment, you've found your new home at TK Noodle Milpitas. They reopened after being shut down by the covid lockdowns in a smaller newer building and it's better than ever. They have ame great food in a more cheerful clean bright friendly environment. I love pasta and noodles and their wide noodles are the best anywhere in the world, EVER!”
“Excellent food, taste is so authentic. Freshly made. Customer service is very friendly and accommodative. We had Chicken 65, Medu Vada, Dosa Varieties, Biriyani, parathas, Chilli chicken, uthappam, Poori etc. Highly recommend this restaurant, for kids and Adults. I would definitely visit often. Pricing very nominal.”

“Delicious coconut-y treat! We tried this for the first time and opted for the basic version without added flavorings and it was exactly what you would hope a coconut pudding would be - not sweet, creamy, and tastes like actual coconut.
There's seating available inside and a variety of options to choose.”
“I do not like Chinese food - usually too oily. But THIS food is AWESOME for me! Especially the hot sour soup (perfect tang) and the Fried rice (light and fluffy, delicious flavor). Also great was the orange chicken (not too sweet) and he sauce on the broccoli was so buttery(?). I WILL order again. Union City.”
“I first met the owner just prior to their official opening. He stated that they would be having fresh, homemade food there; especially and finally, breakfast tacos as well. After awaiting for them to open, I came back and ordered 1 carne asada taco. Afterall; that is the starting point to what can lead to a great menu. Yes it certainly was delicious. I chose to have only one topping as to get the true flavor of the meat. It was juicy and very flavorful. My second and last time I visited was a couple of days prior to this writing. This time I ordered the California Burrito and two Breakfast Tacos. Both of which not only met my expectations, but surpassed it. The owner even threw in a bonus item, a Breakfast Quesadilla. That was the favorite item of my lunch that day. I always do what I can to go out and support small, independent businesses, especially in my own community. Los Jefes Taqueria is a definite place to try out and then you will be back when craving that taco or burrito.”
“I’ve always loved Taishoken as a brand so I was really looking forward to visiting the Milpitas location
The food was delicious as expected and I still really like the concept of their classic tsukemen with thick cold noodles and a rich warm dipping broth, the flavors are comforting and it’s one of those meals that feels satisfying without trying too hard
The menu also has a nice variety with ramen, spicy options, mazemen and small appetizers so even if someone in your group doesn’t want tsukemen there are still plenty of choices
My only concern during this visit was the service and the overall atmosphere
Nothing completely ruined the meal but the restaurant felt a little low energy and I didn’t feel the same warmth or excitement that I usually associate with this brand
The hostess seemed like she was having a difficult time and possibly trying to manage too many things at once, so I honestly felt a little bad for her, it seemed more like the front of house flow wasn’t working smoothly rather than one person simply not caring
Since they don’t take reservations and use a waitlist system I can imagine the entrance gets stressful when several groups arrive at the same time, but a little more communication and welcoming energy would make a big difference
I still enjoyed the food and I’m still a fan of Taishoken, I really want this location to do well because the quality and the brand are both there
Hopefully the service becomes a little more organized and the team can bring more energy into the dining room because with that improvement this could be a place I would happily return to again and again”
“This location opened inside not too long ago inside the Great Mall not too far from the Jollibee and I've been several times already.
Their onigiri is delicious, fresh, and well-priced. I've also tried their signature poke bowl. Everything is made to order and the ingredients are high-quality. Even so, the prices are quite reasonable - the bowl is ~$17, including tax. Most poke places are easily starting at $20 for any sort of bowl and that's before you add in other toppings and premium ingredients.
Don't know how long they can keep up the quality at this price but I'd give it a try before too long.”
“I could not be more stoked about a restaurant than this one. This place has the best tandoori meats and today I got to try a pani puri too and man!!! did my taste buds transport to New Delhi days or what!!! I ordered a combo plate with lamb chops and lamb sheesh kabob. Perhaps the most tender and meatiest lamb chops ever and amazing value for money. The owner himself is vegetarian, yet seems to have perfected meat and veg tandoor dishes. this place is Magic!”
“I love this Starbucks location on Great Mall Parkway! It’s fairly new, having only been open for a couple of years, and the service is already top-tier. The staff is consistently amazing and the management is fantastic!
Becca and her crew are always so helpful and positive. She never complains and always greets you with a genuine smile. It’s a great, well-managed spot and the vibes are always perfect!”
“🤢 Disaster- had the Ciao Italia NY Style and it was garbage 🗑.
First we split a wisguy NY Style Slice in house and it was amazing 🍕- the best pizza I've ever had.
Then we split a Hawaiian Hitman Detroit Style slice in house and it was really good.
We were so impressed we took a NY Style Ciao Italia pizza home and it was garbage. Complete trash.
It was pale, weak, and bready.
We also took a rainbow cake slice home and it was terrible...
Buddy V. From cake boss has gone straight into the gutter. Slice house should stop selling it.
Im gonna go back though, the good slices were really that good.”
“There are plenty of luosifen restaurants, but the ones I’ve been to are closed on a Tuesday. It is not the best Luosifen in south bay, cus I couldn’t find any luosi in the broth, but I love the fried soy skin on top of the noodles. There are limited variety of luosifun to choose from, it only goes with pork knuckles and chicken feet, but you could pair it with an appetizer. I ordered a crispy pork on the side with the original luosifen and it is a bit pricey if you order both. The restaurant also has an outdoor seating area which is more comfortable than other luosifen restaurants in town.”
“Food was good.,cozy atmosphere”
