The owner, an old Asian man with glasses, is beyond rude and doesn't respect customers. After my family and went up to get our drinks, the owner was extremely impatient and raised his voice when he asked us which drinks were ours, almost to the point of yelling. The owner was also excessively irritable to the other customers before us.It's no surpise that this store is hiring new people because the owner has such an abhorrent attitude to everyone.

Fantasia has been around for a long time, and this is its best location. I used to get the jasmine milk tea here growing up, but when I tried it again, I was really unimpressed. However, the fruit teas are pleasantly refreshing here! Prices are reasonable at about $5-6 for a regular sized drink, depending on what you get of course. This spot gets really busy during the day because people come here after lunch! The boba itself here is amazing and is consistently cooked well. HONEY LIME GREEN TEA: 4.5/5 ($6)Refreshing, sweet, and citrusy! I can drink this at any season, day and night. I get this without the aloe to save 50 cents. 25-50% sweetness is perfect for this. I recommend half or less ice since the default essentially fills the entire cup. This is one of the manager's specials and is also my mom's favorite drink here. MANGO GREEN TEA: 4.25/5 (~$5)Love how you can see the mango chunks in this! A bit sweet at 50% so I recommend getting 25% (unless you have a sweet tooth). Refreshing and pairs well with the green tea.

I was actually so impressed at how my drink turned out. Lychee green milk tea, 50% sweet, reg ice with boba. And it was perfect! I loved the flavor of the tea, and the lychee taste did not taste super artificial either. I might have waited a while before drinking it so the ice could've melted but either way, I liked the drink. The lychee bits inside added to my positive experience as well. Also the boba is really good. So soft and chewy. The perfect kind.

Let's do a quick pros and cons list:+ Ample parking here! This boba shop is located in a large plaza along Barber Lane. There are dozens of businesses here, but the lot has plenty of spots for everyone. Even during busy times, I don't have too much trouble parking close to the storefront.+ Service is quick and efficient! There's usually a long line that goes out the door, but it moves fast. There's not much seating inside, which can be a negative for some. I don't usually spend much time here since it's mostly a grab-and-go kind of place for me.+ They use non-dairy creamer, which is vegan and kosher. 0 trans fat and 0 mg cholesterol as well. Soy is listed as one of the ingredients.- On my most recent visit, the milk tea was flavorless. It was either watered down or did not have enough sweetness to it.- The texture of the boba was okay. Soft, but not mushy. Didn't have much sweetness. But they do give a decent amount at least.Overall, somewhat disappointed. I wouldn't rule out another visit, but if they can't get the most basic flavor right, I'm not sure if I'll be comfortable trying other flavors.

This Fantasia is located in Calaveras Center Plaza so plenty of parking available. Haven't had Fantasia in a couple years and it's nice to see how consistent their milk teas are. Also first time trying their grass jelly combo dessert and was pleasantly surprised how good it was - not too sweet, just the way I like it. Service was fairly quick as we came about 25 mins before closing. Will be visiting again when I'm in the plaza!

My favorite boba tea place since early 2000’s. Many other similar business came and gone but Fantasia still here. A must try !

The coolest thing about this place is, the same owner runs this joint with his trusted tea maker of over 20 years who looks Hispanic and he listens for drink orders in Mandarin and whips them out in seconds. The teas always taste consistently delicious.

I bought one grass jelly soup and they used this extremely thin-walled container. After I got back home and try to grab it that plastics wall collapsed and the whole soup dropped on our kitchen floor and spill a huge spot of black color stain.

- Muddy Okinawa Milk Tea w/ Boba // The drink looks amazing but I did think it was a little bit too sweet because of the amount of brown sugar.- White Peach Sunset w/ Agar Boba // This drink was super refreshing and you can really taste the hint of peach flavor which was nice! - - -Would definitely give their other drinks a try!

Very plain milk tea with no tea flavor or no milk flavor. Their drink makes you nauseous and dizzy. You can make better milk tea by yourself. Btw their cashier seems hate everyone.

The boba here is kind of pricey for what you get. A medium size milk tea is $5. +$1 to make it large. +$0.75 to add tapioca. With tax, it is $7.4 for a basic drink.Anything fancier than a black/jasmine milk tea will be $5.50 - $6 as the base price before any additional toppings.Overall, I think it is alright. I remember when Fantasia used to be my goto place to get a quick fix for a really cheap price. Alas, long gone are those days. Nowadays, I'd recommend going to Sunright instead. The quality is better for a similar price.

Milk tea has very little milk and is diluted a lot. And It caused a quick stomachache.

Fantasia's boba teas have a great whole bodied tea flavor, with a sweetness that seems to be low compared to most shops, thus catering nicely to a Chinese palate. Nice aromas and pretty much got it within 5 minutes of us ordering, so blitzingly fast (recent visits have had my drinks ready by the time I finished paying, like dayum). Boba being chewy and on point firmness means it's likely to stay as my go-to if I'm in this Milpitas square area.Prices are fair and they use non dairy creamer too! Only thing to note is they seem to use fountain-drink type lids rather than the "sealed boba cup" tops you typically get at the majority of boba shops so you'll need to be a bit more cautious if you're not drinking them immediately.Their 'flagship flavor' seems to be the Muddy Okinawa milk teas, which to me is both a more aesthetic presentation plus has a more complex profile to it and is my personal favorite (cookie bits on top of a foamy milk tea with brown sugar drizzle). The sunset teas are blends of juice/tea to get that neat faded color look; of those I've had the White Peach Sunset and it's quite a nice fruity tea without being overly sweet.I should explore the other boba offerings, but it's hard to resist.

I stopped by Fantasia after work because I hadn't been here in forever, and I was in the area so why not? I'm glad I made that decision. My family went to Fantasia occasionally when I was a kid as this was my sister's favorite boba place. We only ever got her favorite drink here, lychee jasmine milk tea, but I remember trying the muddy Okinawa milk tea once which is what I was craving on my recent visit here. When I walked into the area, an older Asian man hurried up to the counter ready to take my order. He seemed so friendly and sweet, and the way he just scurried over was so cute haha. This Fantasia location has tables and wifi so I decided to stay here for a bit. After ordering, I was barely getting situated at a table when my drink was ready. If you have a sweet tooth like me, the muddy Okinawa milk tea is the drink for you: brown sugary tea and syrup topped with whipped cream and Oreo crumbs. The boba was pretty soft for the most part as well. What's not to like?? I'll tell you then...the PRICE! The drink was $7.50 for a regular that is smaller than the average small for boba shops in the area. No wonder my family doesn't come here anymore :( I don't regret coming here to get the drink that I've been thinking about for years every time I passed by a Fantasia. Now that I've satisfied that craving, I probably won't come back here too near in the future. One day though :)
