Came here for lunch on a Saturday and have to say that I enjoyed the experience! Upon entering you're asked how many people are in your party and if you're a party larger than 2+ know that it might be a longer wait for them to wait for the current eaters to finish for them to combine the tables. You then pick up a bowl with tongs and start choosing all of the items you want in your noodle dish from the noodles, veggies, to the protein. I love Malatang!! There weren't as many options here as there are at different malatang restaurants in the area. However, the flavors and soups tasted great!! The experience was fine, but there was quite a long wait. Be sure to come early!
Sooo tasty. YGF Malatang is a build-your-own malatang, similar to hot pot. They have a variety of meats, veggies, and carbs. You weigh and pay by the pound, based off of the soup base. Seating is a bit snug and tables fill up quick, so plan accordingly, especially if you want to dine with a large group.
