“I have been going to this place with my grandparents for years, it is our go to sushi place. It has gone through a lot of changes after the pandemic hit, but the quality of the food has never changed. Love it, amazing overall. My only wish would be that they expand so it does not feel as cramped when dining in, but their take out system is extremely effective.“

“Always Been Our Go-To For Any Occassion. Everything Is Great But Their Oyster Shot Is The Best“
“This location opened inside not too long ago inside the Great Mall not too far from the Jollibee and I've been several times already.
Their onigiri is delicious, fresh, and well-priced. I've also tried their signature poke bowl. Everything is made to order and the ingredients are high-quality. Even so, the prices are quite reasonable - the bowl is ~$17, including tax. Most poke places are easily starting at $20 for any sort of bowl and that's before you add in other toppings and premium ingredients.
Don't know how long they can keep up the quality at this price but I'd give it a try before too long.“
“This is a very good Koran BBQ place with Great and efficient service. They deliver what you order within a minute. And pick up the empty dishes all the time!
Meat is all very good quality with wonderful flavors.
The all you can eat price of $55.00 with soft drinks included I think is a good deal.
I highly recommend for all the meat lovers to try!“

“Our family loves Sumiya Bento in Milpitas. We eat here all the time. Once a week if possible! The food quality and service has always been consistently top notch!
We have also ate at the Sumiya Bento location in Santa Clara several times, but we prefer the Milpitas location! The skewers at the Milpitas location has always been juicy and cooked just right. For some reason everytime we eat the skewers at their Santa Clara location it has been dry and too charred/burnt. Not sure why.
So definitely give Sumiya Bento Milpitas a try! You won't regret it.“

“I’ve always loved Taishoken as a brand so I was really looking forward to visiting the Milpitas location
The food was delicious as expected and I still really like the concept of their classic tsukemen with thick cold noodles and a rich warm dipping broth, the flavors are comforting and it’s one of those meals that feels satisfying without trying too hard
The menu also has a nice variety with ramen, spicy options, mazemen and small appetizers so even if someone in your group doesn’t want tsukemen there are still plenty of choices
My only concern during this visit was the service and the overall atmosphere
Nothing completely ruined the meal but the restaurant felt a little low energy and I didn’t feel the same warmth or excitement that I usually associate with this brand
The hostess seemed like she was having a difficult time and possibly trying to manage too many things at once, so I honestly felt a little bad for her, it seemed more like the front of house flow wasn’t working smoothly rather than one person simply not caring
Since they don’t take reservations and use a waitlist system I can imagine the entrance gets stressful when several groups arrive at the same time, but a little more communication and welcoming energy would make a big difference
I still enjoyed the food and I’m still a fan of Taishoken, I really want this location to do well because the quality and the brand are both there
Hopefully the service becomes a little more organized and the team can bring more energy into the dining room because with that improvement this could be a place I would happily return to again and again“

“Was in the mood for Ramen tonight and stopped here for dinner. Had to scan a QR code to see menu and order food. Wish I could have just ordered the old fashioned way. But once you completed all the sign up and understanding how to order the food was tasty“

“Not like it used to be. Don’t get me wrong, it was all me. I just can’t eat like I used to. No more competing with your fellow mates on how much short ribs, beef tongue 👅, NY steak 🥩u can devour. The challenge of getting your money’s worth is now defined by attitude. That all being said, this was oriented from a Japanese themed. The meats were good quality, I also had shrimp. Meats had a good variety, but limited in how much u can enjoy. Sides were unlimited, hooray. A good place for celebrating an occasion.
Prompt service, just get there early if u want a bit of space.
As always, post wherever u end up that entices your palate. I forgot U are the chef.🧑🍳“

“We always drove past this place and finally decided to go in and try it on a whim. So glad we did, delicious sushi, high quality fish, and great variety. We ordered so so much, even their dessert options are delicious. The service was very efficient and servers were funny and personable. We went in close to closing and they made sure we were aware of when the kitchen closed before being seated (and they were great about making sure we got lots of orders in before we left). Their serving portions were perfect also. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!“

“Fantastic little poke spot in Milpitas. Friendliest owners I've ever met, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. You start by picking your base: sushi rice, brown rice, or greens, then add your proteins with variety such was spicy salmon, tuna, shrimp, tilapia, tuna salad, tofu, etc. You can choose a spice level, and additional toppings such as edamame, corn, seaweed salad (so good), macaroni salad, crab, etc. I love to add spicy mayo and yuzu ponzo, plus eel sauce. Do not pass this place up!“
