Good service and nice omelettes!

Very nice ambiance. I ate at the bar, but the outside patio looked like a very nice place to relax and chit chat. There are fire places outside, so that adds to the relaxing vibes. I ordered during the happy hour, which had a pretty good variety on its menu. I wasn't much of a fan of the shrimp tacos- they were decent but the lettuce and toppings overpowered the shrimp, which was chopped up into tiny pieces. Probably had a total of two whole shrimps in it. The Salmon was very good and the flavors of the sauce were a perfect match for taste.

I never leave bad reviews and I don't mind overpriced drinks but the same bartender was rude three nights in a row to us.

Our room was nice and clean. The lady in the restaurant for breakfast was extremely nice and pleasant. The only thing that I disliked about the property was the parking. Not only was there a $15 per night parking fee, the parking lot was not even in the somewhat secure. The parking lot was an open parking lot that seemed the be shared with the other businesses in the same lot. It’s a bit ridiculous in my opinion to charge so much for parking per night and not even offer somewhat secure parking structure.

(Translated by Google) A crap restaurant, an hour for a dish that costs $27 and tastes like a pig's butt. I would never eat there, to be served you have to cross your fingers, if you are lucky you will manage to get a box to carry the food, hoping that your pet can eat it.(Original)Una porquería de restaurante, una hora para un plato que cuesta 27 dólares y sabe a trasero de puerco. Jamás comería ahí, para que te atiendan tienes que cruzar los dedos, si corres con suerte lograrás conseguir una caja para llevar la comida, esperando que tu mascota pueda comerla.

What a great stay! I love the Sonesta Silicon Valley. It’s like the hotel was built around the pool, super inviting. The staff was all smiles and welcoming. It feels like a brand-new hotel, big rooms, comfy beds, beautiful grounds and lots of parking. Complimentary large fitness room and internet let me unwind and work at the same time. I was even able to take my laptop to the pool deck and cute patio and stay connected. I also was able to go to the Great Mall just a few minutes away and they had 100’s of shops! The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day and the super server let me know they are open for dinner now so I must try that on my next visit!

Nicely tucked away on a retail park about 30 mins from SFO. Great rooms super friendly staff and a nice pool and hot tub. Only minor complaint is that when we visited the restaurant was only open for breakfast

The most overpriced breakfast buffet I've ever been to. Food was as mediocre as a Holiday in Express but was the price of a Filet at Flemming's. The atmosphere and service was great though!

The hotel has obviously been newly updated and was nice, however our room still smelled like someone had recently smoked in it. It did have a fridge, but was missing some basic necessities like lotion and was a bit dim and stale. I did use the wireless charger in the room which was pretty neat. Ate breakfast at the restaurant and it was fantastic and the service was great.

Overall, I am very impressed. The room and bathroom were excellent and very clean. Staff were very courteous. Only negative experience was with the TV. I did not get Chromecast working on my iPhone and gave up after a few minutes of trying. Yes, I plan to stay here again next time.

no microwave in room. a single common microwave located in the hallway is NOT compliant with their "Safe Safe" policy!!! The single microwave was not cleaned (not even on a daily basis) as I looked in it on the first day of my stay and it had exploded food instead and I checked it again when i left and it was still there! Requested staff to clean it, that said they would and it still didn't happen!

First of all this hotel is very modern. It is very clean. The room and hotel lobby was pristine. The breakfast at the restaurant here is expensive at around $70 for continental style items I purchased for 3 ppl. While the waiter was very kind, it was only one person to service a whole room of table and people, so very slow service. I think the food was definitely overpriced, so I recommend you head to a near by Starbucks, Panera. Now minus 1 star is for the noise. They must have forgot to sound proof the hotel when building it. You can hear everything happening in the pool, even conversations outside (windows closed). You can also hear everything from the hallways or adjacent room. I was woken up 3 times throughout the night. While I loved everything about the hotel, the noise was definitely shocking.

Cleaning was an issue and no room cleaning scheduled during 4 days stay despite multiple scheduling, food at the restaurant was overpriced and low quality, front desk is not helpful to resolve issue. Would not recommend staying at this hotel.

10/10. This will be my location to stay at in Silicon Valley. Sonesta Silicon Valley had the most helpful staff, well beyond what is to be expected. The room was clean and I was pleasantly surprised by wireless charging pads, nice TVs and comfortable sofas/chairs.
