Beijing was the only place in my area that was still open on a Saturday night. We ordered Pork Fried Rice, Shrimp Chowmein, Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp and Potstickers. Overall, the food was DELICIOUS! Personally, I wasn't a fan of the potstickers because they were a mix of pork, chicken & shrimp but my hubby loved them! We will definitely be ordering again!

This place was a nice surprise after our first plan failed. We were there in the mid-afternoon so it was fairly quiet - just one other table and a couple of to-go orders. The hot and sour soup was almost perfect -- maybe a bit heavy on the tofu but I can't say for sure as I only had a cup as part of the lunch special. The Macau Lamb had great flavor and just the right amount of heat. The deep fried crispy duck was flavorful but perhaps a bit too crispy. The underside was blackened. Also, the traditional chopping method means lots of small bone fragments. The mixed vegetables were still firm and the sauce was light enough to add flavor without being overpowering. They did seem overpriced for the quantity. The oolong tea comes in individual pots and is from a tea bag, not loose leaves. It was still a decent cup of tea. Overall it was a nice place and we will return.

Stopped in to Beijing restaurant after shopping at Walmart on McHenry with a friend. I ordered honey walnut prawns (my go to at a Chinese restaurant). It was pretty good. We also had pot stickers, which were burnt :( but they still were edible. Next time, hopefully they won't burn them. But what really stole the show for me, was the salad the waiter brought. The dressing was really good. I couldn't stop eating it! Their customer service was excellent! He was engaging even with the children. He gave one of the kids a special cup and tried talking to him, even if he was being a little shy. I thought it was sweet that the waiter showed interest in getting to know him.

Wanted to get Chinese food and got the magolian beef plate. I was thinking this came with chow mein and fried rice of it being a combination plate. Ended up getting the beef and a whole bunch of white rice. Spent almost 30$ on basically white rice that I could've made at home. The meat looked a bit off too and was chewy and not tender. It also had a bunch of white onions and green onion instead of meat. Called them and mentioned it to them, they said it never was like that. Well majority of Chinese places have their combination plates with chow mein and fried rice. Will not be coming back for sure!

Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Modesto. I can’t get enough of their Beijing salad. It’s so simple yet so delicious. Everything there is great and the staff are so friendly. They always give my little one a to go box full of fortune cookies!! They are truly a gem of Modesto and I will keep coming back and telling everyone to go try it out. It’s so good.

Tasty and hearty sized orders. Everything was priced very well. I placed my order as we left piano lessons and picked up within 15-20 minutes. It was piping hot.

Servicer nit friendly. Soup needed salt and beef dish too salty. Nothing special. We are still looking for a good Chinese restaurant.

We have lived here for roughly 7 years now and this is by far our favorite Chinese Food in Modesto! The kids love it as well. The food is always hot, even when delivered. I appreciate the fact that they have got our order correct every time we've eaten here! My kids are very particular and still the food comes correct. I highly recommend Beijing Restaurant to any and all. Justin

The best Chinese food I've had, EVER! We had the garlic chicken (no words to explain how good this was), honey walnut shrimp (perfectly cooked), house fried rice, shrimp chow mein (did not skimp on the shrimp), sweet&sour short ribs, beef&brocolli, & eggplant/tofu. Everything was tasty and the customer service was ON POINT! Definitely will come back!

Decided to give this place a try because my family's go to spot for Chinese was closed. We ordered stir fried green beans, Beijing chicken, Mongolian beef, tin foil chicken and Rice. None of the food had any flavor at all. The Mongolian beef was all green onions and white onions. Hardly and beef with a bunch of fired noodles on top. The Tim foil chicken was super white not even and color like every other place we have gotten it from. The green bean was crispy but no flavor. Definitely will not try this place again.

Love this place! My fiancé and I are hooked. We won't go anywhere else. It's definitely a hidden gem. We go so much here they know what we're coming in for already. It's so good, we went twice in one day. It's that damn fried sole fish and now we have a new food crush-it's that yummy salt n pepper lobster tail

We ordered to go from Bejing. We haven't had Chinese in years because of COVID. We were so ready to have garlic chicken. This was HORRIBLE!!! I called and the guy HUNG UP ON ME!! NOTHING Abt this meal was Chinese. I SPECIFICALLY asked for garlic chicken, deep fried with sweet sauce, Bejing garlic chicken. My husband isn't picky, even he said this was the worst!!!!!! We call and talk to someone else. They offered a credit. I said no; we will never be back. I get it. The pandemic has hurt everybody, but skimping on quality isn't going to help your business. We would have gladly paid for an AUTHENTIC Chinese meal. This was not even close. And you NEVER hang up on a customer. I hope he's fired, as he should be!!!!!!

Everything we ordered were SO good! We got the garlic chicken, the beef with mushrooms, and the Hong Kong style fried noodles with pork. The food came out fast and the server was very polite, friendly and helpful. He really took care of us. Overall a very good experience. We drove all the way from the Great Wolf Lodge, Manteca and it was so worth it!!
