Tried their egg omelete, beef roll, tamale, and a few other breakfast items. Food is pretty good, gets the job done, but nothing spectacular. If you're in the area and want TW breakfast, this would be the place but I wouldn't say it's worth going out of your way for.

Really enjoyed the food here! The purple rice roll was a delicious, hearty way to start the day. Really liked the scallion pancake of course. And the beef sandwich was a pleasant surprise.

It's a nice "mom and pop" Taiwanese breakfast/comfort food. You order and find a table in the petite shop. They have the classic items, no avant-garde bullsheet... Solid choice for a quick brekkie.

The atmosphere is like a Chinese roadside shop, relatively clean, but the tables are often not cleared. The fried dough sticks were not bad. In the past, salty soy milk was also very distinctive. After the epidemic, the quality of services has declined. The scalding soy milk is served in plastic bowls, and the tableware provided are disposable and look very cheap. The sesame cakes used to be delicious, but now they are very hard and may not be fresh anymore. Salted soy milk used to have meat floss, but now the taste is very different. Only the fried dough sticks were good.Hey... Three stars for the fried dough sticks, one star for the tableware, and forget about the rest.Overall, not recommended.

Was so excited to try an authentic tw place and was so underwhelmed. The egg pancake was just meh. Not crispy, not much flavor. The green onion pancake with egg was ok. Can't taste the green onion. The beef noodle... the beef was so hard. The xlb was sad, all of them were popped, no soup inside. The stand out for me was the black sesame and peanut Mochi. That was delicious. And the soy milk was Yumm. Everything else was mediocre.They gave you plastic utensil which is fine but not enough for the entire party. Also the sauces were in tiny containers and not enough... Won't be able again.
Is it just me or has these type of places gone way up in price? It feels almost like a luxury to go buy Taiwanese breakfast now..I still come here for their fat purple fan tuans but their soy milk has always been relatively mediocre. Come here for a quick fix but if you know of a small mom and pop shop, it's probably better and cheaper.

The egg pancake is good, purple rice ball is good other items are just decent We ordered Chinese donut and bread , it was horrible . The bread was so hard like a rock. We asked the store if it was made fresh , they said yes. I don't think I will come here next time , prefer JJ breakfast

Used to be my favorite breakfast place in Arcadia but the quality has gone down lately. Their rice burritos became very stingy on the fillings, mostly rice. Their soy milk is still good, green onion pancakes, and egg crepes are good.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian rice roll, green onion pancake, egg crepe, vegetarian buns, crispy Chinese donut. Love their dishes for decades, recently the smoke chicken have became my top favorite. However, couldn’t find it on Yi Mei’s DoorDash menu. After brought it to the store manager’s attention, Lany responded to my inquiry with a telephone call and followed with a personal note in an hour that she will edited the menu by coming Friday. Just can’t find any better customer services elsewhere, a true big Five!
