Come here about 2.30 and only two tables are ahead of us and about four~five tables are open but the server never go out to call table or send text.

Food and atmosphere are great, no doubt. But service was terrible. I am not sure if it's because that's how it is, or it's because I am a solo customer and the waitresses are upset since I take the table for two people. It's my first time coming to eat in person so I don't know the menu can be scanned by QR code UNDER THE TABLE, but literally no one asked me if I needed the menu or if I needed to order. From the moment I sat down, I became invisible to them, as all waitresses walked past me without even caring I looked so confusing like "Ok are you going to give me the menu to order or what?". When the food comes, they didn't give me chopsticks and water, and when I asked, it took them so long to get me one pair of chopsticks and water. They came to refill water for people sitting next to me (both sides) but they skipped me (and I was out of water). I am so sorry if I upset you guys since I am a solo traveler :) I had quite terrible experience. I did not even want to finish my dinner and just wanted to leave.

Here in this little restaurant the food is good, it has good flavor, hot and a good portion. Price in the portion range, the drinks are very expensive. Now on to the service: TERRIBLE. Waiting for more than an hour I felt discrimination since they called us and seated six people and a few more minutes for a family of four near the kitchen and at our table they left us sitting there for around 10 to 15 minutes as for the other They had already served him water and while they were asking us for the order from the other table they were already serving him the food, another is that we had to ask for bowls and they took them to the other tables of Asians with the food order, we asked for water water and they brought them water in their glasses already served and they brought us a little jug and the glasses and it wasn't even enough for us and we had to stretch out one hand and the other so that they would bring us another little jug of water, and their attitude was very rude, they have no sense of customer service.

There was no wait as I arrived before the dinner rush. But the service is lackluster, the staff doesn’t really pay attention to the tables. They don’t really come up to you until you call them over or if they’re doing their routine soup refills or bringing your pot over. So I had to wave them over for anything I needed - more napkins, water, and even to order my food.I’ve come to BP many times and have enjoyed the House Special, Beef, and Lamb hot pots but this time - I decided to try the Korean Bean Paste. It’s not that great. The soup was lacking in flavor.

Three tables in front of me waited for an hour. Three times people forgot to call my number. Sit down no one to give the menu, ask the next table to know to scan the code. They cleaned the table and waited 15 minutes before calling anyone. The call is slow and waiting it takes a long time. I ate several times the hard thing in the food.

Love the food dislike the service. Not sure if it’s me but I always get such an attitude. I always tip and I’m in and out as fast as possible. I always dine alone and try to be the least bothersome as possible. Won’t be back to this location but hopefully I can enjoy one of the other locations. My apologies to the server who took my order. You were going too fast and I couldn’t interject with my exclusions, usually the servers read me back my order and ask if there’s anything else before sending it to the kitchen. Didn’t get my side of rice my entire meal but after the scolding I got I didn’t bother asking. The couple next to me also agreed that the server was maybe a little rude, Even after all this I still tipped because I know their job is hard and customers can be rude.

Food is good, went mid day for breakfast wait was an hour, at least they did it through cell so you can wait in your car. Once we got our food it was genuinely boiling hot I couldn’t eat it in comfort. The stools are tiring no back support, free tea is nice but not enough to make up the 20$ a bowl. Service was meh, they never checked in on us didn’t ask for another drink or refill so get ready to raise your hand to ask for service. By the end of it we had to ask for the check twice since the person we asked completely forgot it. Foods good just go when it’s not busy and not budget friendly.

The outrageous waiter is so bad every time he comes to eat. He will not ask for ice water. He has been told that toilet paper is needed and will not bring it. Even when ordering, he will not come. If it is not a child who loves to eat, who would want to come to a place like this? Stores with poor service should review their employees. Look at the cameras and inspect their bad employees more.

Management needs to improve here!!! It's pretty ridiculous with the long line waiting outside and then with so many empty tables inside at the busiest time at noon. Although there are empty seats and tables set up, guests are still not asked to be seated. Had a candid conversation and asked the host and her explanation was that the kitchen can't handle this much..... Hm okay.... So I guess it's better to have people standing and waiting starring at empty seats than letting people sit down.

The Boiling Point here is far superior to the one in Rosemead. I highly recommend visiting this location. The flavors are completely different, and the service is notably faster. Just one little thing, customer service should be improved, more smiles when talking with customer. If you don’t want to wait for too long, come ealier in the morning before 10 mins of opening hour.

I visited on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch, and the place was surprisingly empty. One highlight of going there during lunchtime is the complimentary green/ black tea they offer.Normally, I go for the beef pot, but this time I decided to switch things up and try the milk cream curry pot. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, even though its appearance wasn't the most appealing. The sea salt cream in the broth really worked wonders.Service was efficient, and the staff was friendly. Street parking is widely available, and you might get lucky enough to find a spot right in front of Boiling Point.
