This place has an "A" on the Health Dept inspection, and that is good. We went in and my wife ordered in Mandarin, I don't know what would happen if you had no Mandarin speaker. I doubt that anyone knew any English, I did not hear any. No, I am not complaining, it was no trouble for us. We ordered squid and lamb skewers, shredded pork with sauce, dumplings, and a cold noodle dish. The lamb and squid was not too good, odd textures and fat/gristle. The shredded pork was even tough. As much as I was wanting to like this place I probably will not return.

We found ourselves afoot in Monterey Park this weekend and saw this place. The "A'" for the Health Dept inspection called us in like a siren's song. "A" s are not too common right now with the little places along Garvey. Lots of "B"s and even "C"s. So we went in and ordered lamb skewers, squid skewers, shansnxi cold noodles, and the pork mix dumplings. There was also the shredded pork in special sauce, it came with some little square things like tortillas or something. They do not need a point of sale system to convey orders to the kitchen. As my wife ordered from the menu in Mandarin, the waiter yelled very loudly across the restaurant, repeating the order in Mandarin to the cook like forty feet away. It was surreal, like something from a movie perhaps. A spastic way to order for sure, I had a hard time keeping a straight face. When the food came, the squid was just so rubbery, very tough to eat it. And the lamb skewers were fatty and had hard spots of gristle. It was not very good. The shredded pork was tough as well. I really wanted to like this place, but I just went away from here with a WTF, as I shook my head when my wife asked if I would want to return. The people were nice, and the place was very clean. But it is not for me. Give it a try, it is not bad, but it just was odd to me.

This place used to be great, but it's gone downhill. The waitresses wouldn't listen, and they burnt up most of the food. The mushroom skewers were completely blackened

(Translated by Google) First of all, it is not a water army. You can eat the scallions on the fat square. The sweet cool skin is also spicy and relishing! Oh, s****

(Translated by Google) The service attitude here is very poor. The waiters who have never seen such garbage have tasted very bad taste.

I LOVE this restaurant. I ate here 5 times now and I love the food here. I'm glad I found this place. A small family owned business with traditional Chinese food. Very Delicious!

I love the liang pi here! Just the right amount of vinegar, chili and garlic and the gluten tofu!! Haven't found another place that I prefer this dish as of yet.

Dishes in middle range quality while being charge at low price. For example, cumin lamb dish is $10.99 which's about 20% lower than the industry pricing. Chinese style beef burritos is $6.99 compared to the industry's $7.99 whereas its hours of operation running till 11:30pm that's right for us the night owls. Suggest to try these two items; I love them and will definitely comeback soon after today Sunday night 10-22-17.
